It was forceful enough to push down the lady to the cold floor. Her calm eyes bore daggers towards her and she scoffed back at her.
"Don't use people just because they are inferior than you!" She said calmly yet her eyes had storm brewing in them.
She hated those who took advantages of someone.
Ignoring the peoples swarming gaze, Aizhe moved towards the elevator and almost immediately after she left, a phone call rang from the receptionist desk.
The receptionist stood up with a frowning face and walked up towards her desk.
She picked up the call. "Ms. Feng, you are being fired",
As soon as she heard those words, she slipped and fell back on to the cold marble floor. Her eyes were astonished and her body trembled in fear of what was happening. She looked around and when she saw the surveillance cameras attached to the corporate walls, she fell in to more despair.
Her eyes fell on to the disappearing figure of the girl and her shoulders shrank.
People who were looking at the scene were left dumbfounded at the turn of table.
They looked at the frail yet confident girl that kept walking towards the elevator like nothing ever happened and they were awe-stricken by her grace and powerful comeback slap on that receptionists face!
They never saw her here before, therefore they were curious who she was and where she came from. Most importantly, how did she know their Vice President?

When Aizhe reached the elevator, she contemplated on which button to press. She was lost in her thoughts when her phone rang and she picked it up.
"Aizhe, press 30. We are there!" Aizhe tilted her head and wondered how Ai knew where she was. She looked around and when she saw no one, her thundering heart increased.
"Okay, I will see you!" She told her. She hang up the phone and pressed on the number.
Soon, the elevator dinged and she walked out in anticipation to what was ahead.
When she saw the grand hallway and the white, smooth marble walls, Aizhe was left in a shock. She looked at the white table that had a tablet, a computer and a some papers documents and realized that was Brother Lu's table.
The hallway was wide and the door to the office was sperated by a long staircase that was made of glass.
She moved towards the long staircase and looked at the grand window that showed the working people.
Their eyes swept pass her yet no one dared to ask her anything.
She smiled at them respectively and looked away.
Walking towards the long staircase that connected to the grand glass door, her hands trembled somehow and she frowned at her thundering heartbeat.
There were sweat on her hands and at her back. She took a deep breath in and decided to knock in first.
After three knocks, she heard a familiar tone. It was deep and manly. It was layered with a warmth snd expectancy. Her eyes looked towards the door and she sudddenly felt excited to see them. She opened the door and the scent of brewing black coffee and wool reached her nostrils.
Looking up, she glanced at the trios who were sitting on the round table, seemingly in a discussion. She bowed three times towards them and stood there wondering what to do next. She hadn't seen them for so long and was now really awkward yet excited to see them.
Ah Si was discussing about an upcoming project but when he saw Aizhe, his speech slurred and his gaze locked with hers. It felt like everything paused and they were the only ones there. He couldn't take his eyes away from her. She looked beautiful and graceful at the same time. Her familiar scent filled up the room and he felt satisfied when he saw her bright smile. His heart thundered and he didn't know what to do next.
Ai and Lu Jung who were sitting in the round table felt like the third wheel. She stood up excitedly and dragged Aizhe inside the room.
Aizhe smiled at the the couple and looked away immediately when her gaze locked with Ah Si. Her heart pounded harder when she saw his three piece maroon suit and his well structured face that bore warmth and elegance. His long raven hair was not in a bun but let down and it rested on his shoulders.
"Hey, how are you doing?" Ah Si asked her with a gentle tone. He took his working Burche round glasses off and moved a hand through his long hair.
His little action made Aizhe gasp and she immediately looked away, blushing in a beetroot shade.
