Li Aizhe is a beautiful and optimistic girl. She always looks on the bright side of whatever she does. 

Departed from the warmth of her parents from a young age, she had learned how to be independent and took care of her beloved grandfather while working shifts by shifts. 

But her life turns upside down on one evening and the beautiful, sweet girl is left alone on nowhere to escape to. She promises to never seek anyone's help and starts to see the harsh reality of the actual world.

Aizhe took a deep breath and blushed away when she realized what just happened. Her hands were still holding into his suit and he took it away gently and raised it to kiss it. He smiled at her and wiped the tears which were getting dry on her cheeks. 

"Aizhe, does it matter that life is filled with difficulties? Does it matter that we are all on the same boat yet can't help each other and does it matter if we are different? Because all that matters to me is you are next to me in this journey.."

 He looked into her eyes deeply as he poured his heart out one by one for her...

"Aizhe, you are my only friend and it is not because of your beauty, but because of your heart. I look at you, not towards your eyes but towards the purity that is hidden in those eyes and I like you not because you are different but because I realized how deep my heart and world yearns for you.."

Li Aizhe, Ah Si - A Brand New Day ♡

"I asked if you can drop by the Ah Manor. We held a little party for our Shan and all our friends are coming today. If you don't mind, can you also come?" She asked her again but this time with more hesitancy in her tone. 


When Aizhe heard her request, she immediately denied: "Ai sister, what will I do at the Ah Manor? Your parents are also there and I don't even know anyone from there." Aizhe exclaimed anxiously as she got in to the cab with Ning Mei. 


Ai shook her head and she calmed herself from fuming because she had already expected Aizhe to refuse her propsal. She set the baby back in the incubator and held the phone in her hands.¹ 


"Aizhe, you are also our friend. And for your kind of information, Ah Manor belongs to Bebo. Our parents live with our grandfather and the relative's  in the Ah Mansion. Only couple of friends are going to be here and all of them are close to us." When Ai said that, Lu Jung Immediately looked at her with wide eyes and shocked face.


Close? How were they close to that woman? She lied so well now..


He wanted to cry when he remembered his brother-in-laws request. Was it that important to invite that devil? 


Finding it harder to deny, Aizhe nodded and promised to come. It was not going to be that bad, was it? It is only a small party for little Shan. 


But when she thought back to it, it wasn't as easy as she made it sound like. He was there and she was pretty sure he wouldn't sit still. He would definitely try his luck around her. What if his friends and Ai sister sees it? 


Aizhe hanged up the call and she realized she was already close to the super market. Guess the journey wasn't that far from the Li Mansion. 


The two brought foods that Aizhe had never seen before. It was not honestly surprising as the supermarket was mainly getting their products from the overseas and she thought that Ning Mei knew this more than her as she had lived in London for almost all her life. 


Ning Mei also added some unnecessary stuff for Zia. It included toys, clothes, shoes and loads of  story books. The two kept piling the items up when they noticed that the cart no longer had space in it.


Laughing at their silliness, they went towards the cashier to buy the the stuff. They left the shop and hailed a cab to go back home. On the way home, Aizhe as usual looked out of the window and she noticed the same poster the audition and the tall building it was hanging from.  She suddenly remembered that she had to get ready for the audition and she hadn't even prepared herself. The audition was two weeks away. 


Aizhe made up her mind to meet up with Ai sister some times during this week. She looked out of the window as she pondered on what song to sing.
