Chapter 8
One Saturday morning, there was no class for anyone so Tara and her squad decided to make it a mall day since they all had nothing better to do.
Zoe: (hears phone ring just as she was about to go to Tara's place on her motorcycle she sees the caller, Former Idiot), hello Brian
Brian: Hey, I was wondering if you would be free today?
Zoe: No, I'll be going to the mall with my friends.
Brian: Oh, can I come along?
Zoe: Yeah, we're officially friends now so why not?
Brian:(blushing) Awesome where do we meet up?
Zoe: I was going to Tara's so we could all go together, but since you're coming along you could come pick me up so we go together since we can't all fit in Tara's car and I don't feel like riding my bike to the mall.
Brian: Cool, no problem I'll be there in five.
Zoe: Alright (Zoe calls Tara to tell her she'd be going with Brian so she'd meet them at the mall)
Tara drives, Ken rides shotgun and Cleo and Jason sit at the back, as drove up to the mall they see Zoe and Brian laughing beside his car. Tara parks and they walk out to meet them.
Tara: Z, you guys got here so quickly, how'd you beat that insane traffic?
Zoe: Perks of riding a bike, you know tons of shortcuts even a car can pass through (she smirks)
Tara: I'm definitely learning those shortcuts (she laughs)
Cleo: Enough traffic talk (she sighs dramatically), what do we do first?
Tara: We definitely need to fuel our tanks before we take on this huge mall, I say we go to the food court and stuff ourselves before anything.
Cleo: Of course, you'd say that, ever the foodie (she laughs).
Ken: Anyway, who's the red head?
Zoe: Right, I forgot this is Brian, Brian, Jason and Ken (she points)
Ken & Jason: Hey man…
Brian: Hey, before I say anything else just wanted to say I've changed for the better so I'd actually love to be friends with you guys (he says sheepishly)
Everyone: Yeah sure but you've got just one more chance…
Brian: I know I'll make it worth it, I might even get to be Zoe's male sub if she agrees to it. (he rubs his hand behind his neck nervously)
Tara: Good to know, anyway the aroma from the restaurant is making me weak let's get our food (she moans)
Brian: As the new member of the group on probation (he laughs) I'll be paying for lunch, if that's okay?
Everyone: Definitely, off to a great start. (they all laugh)
After half an hour of deciding what they should each get, they all ordered sushi and some bottles of red wine.
Zoe: Mm, this sushi is so good (she moans), this is my first time eating here though but they've found a loyal customer in me (she chuckles)
Tara: Really? I come here quite a lot their sushi is the best in the state, you can take my word for it I've tried almost every sushi place here…
Cleo: No lie, this is really good and I don't even like sushi much so I'm impressed.
Zoe: Okay guys time for a toast, to new friends (they all clink glasses)
Ken: Let's not drink too much guys, Tara you driving us home?
Tara: Yep, I'm not drinking that much, besides I'm not a lightweight I don't get drunk that easily (she says slightly slurring her words)
Ken: Yeah right (he laughs), I'll just drink less to carry the lightweights
Cleo: Jason, this means we can drink our heads off tonight, Kenny will carry us (she slurs)
Jason: YAHHH! Cloe…. (he slurs and high five's her) I'M DEFINITELY WASTED CLOOOEE!!
Tara: Hey Jason, Jason calm down you're screaming (she laughs) and its Cleo not clooe
Cleo: (continues drinking), KENNY TWO DRUNKS READY FOR PACKAGGING! (she slurs)
Ken: Jesus, guys we'll get thrown out of here keep it down (he laughs)
Brian: YASSS! DOWWNN (he slurs)
Zoe: No no no, not you too (she laughs)
Brian: Hey AM NOTTT DRUNK!
Zoe: Exactly you're wasted let's put down the bottle and let's going guys before we get kicked out of here (she chuckles)
Tara: Okay Ken, please watch over our baby drunks here while Tara and I go do the shopping and meet you guys back here and go home
Ken; Sure, papa bear coming right up (he laughs)
Zoe and Tara went into tons of stores and got tons of stuff and met up with the rest of the guys they came back to a very amusing scene of the baby drunks singing on the table and being chased out by the owner.
Zoe: KEN!! What happened to papa bear? (she laughs)
Ken: Well... you see erm they were more of a handful than I expected... (he grins sheepishly)
Zoe: Well it's definitely time to leave now, Brian Brian, come on let's walk very slowly to the car. Guys I'm driving him home see you later bye….
Ken & Tara: Bye, drive safe.
Tara: Alright let's get these drunks home.
They managed to get Jason and Cleo into the car after much effort and they drove back to campus, Tara dropped off Ken first and took Jason and Cleo back to their place because he was too wasted to be alone, she leaves them in Cleo's room and falls back on her bed. Meanwhile at Zoe's...
Zoe: Brian quit the singing and go to bad my eardrums are ringing, I didn't take you home because you can barely stand come on up you go on the bed now (she drags him to the bed because he couldn't even walk)
Brian:(starts to snore loudly)
Zoe: Aww you're adorable when you sleep like a big baby (she laughs and strokes his hair gently). Goodnight Brian
She goes back outside to carry their shopping bags from the car takes a shower and goes to sleep on the couch beside Brian...
