Trouble Stirs with Wine Part 2

Third Pov:

As the sun slowly goes down and the moon slowly comes up, the gray clouds have started to form. The rain was about to pour, YuHan felt little droplets of water. 'I didn't bring an umbrella,' he thought.

"Seems like it's going to rain now. YuHan want to share an umbrella with me?" ZiNuo said as he looked at YuHan. YuHan only glanced back at him. The rain suddenly started pouring and YuHan's clothes were slowly getting soaked while ZiNuo's clothes were dry. The drops of water land on ZiNuo's white umbrella with blue patterns. ZiNuo went up to YuHan and grabbed him by his hand. "Whether you like it or not, I'm taking you with me," he said. YuHan and ZiNuo were under the same umbrella. YuHan looked at ZiNuo and didn't say a word. ZiNuo smiled at YuHan as they continued to walk.

"I realized something Bai Gongzi," ZiNuo said as he looked at YuHan who looked back. "Why is your face so red?" YuHan stared at ZiNuo coldy. "Jeez. At least tell me your name Bai Gongzi."

"Mind your own business Yin Gongzi."

YuHan and ZiNuo reached for a mini shed that seemed to be abandoned. "Bai Gongzi, are we going to stay here for the night?" ZiNuo asked before a young xiaojie greeted them.

"Hello, young travelers. What brings you two Gongzi here?"

"This guy doesn't talk much. I'll do the talking here," ZiNuo smiled at the xiaojie. "I'm pretty sure we're heading to the capital of town. We're also wondering if we could stay here?" "We'll pay for the stay if needed," ZiNuo added.

"If you can find some food then sure thing," the young xiaojie said. "I'll show you to your room." The young xiaojie led them to this small room, "Sorry for this room, this is the only other room that isn't being used. I would like you two to sleep here for the night. Make sure to get food before the sun goes down,"

"Don't worry Miss, we'll make the best out of this room. Right Bai Gongzi," ZiNuo said while smiling at YuHan. In response YuHan nodded.

"The cleaning tools are in the next room if you need it. I'll take my leave now," the young xiaojie said as she backed away and walked out of the door.

"So Bai Gongzi are you going to talk?" ZiNuo questioned.

"I'll only talk to you for this purpose and only for this purpose," YuHan responded.

ZiNuo smiled at YuHan, "You clean the bed, I'll do the rest."

"We're not sharing the same bed," YuHan said.

"Ok Bai Gongzi, I'll sleep on the floor. You happy now?" ZiNuo said as he glanced at YuHan before he left to go get cleaning supplies. When ZiNuo returned back with the cleaning supplies, YuHan was cleaning his sword with a gray cloth. "Are you ready to start cleaning?" ZiNuo asked. YuHan looked up away from his blade, into ZiNuo's eyes, and nodded.

After cleaning ZiNuo decided to lay on the bed, "Jeez that was too much for me," he whined. He sat up to face YuHan who was staring at him with a death glare.

"Get off," YuHan said.

"Just let me rest at least," ZiNuo frowned.

"Sleep on the bed, I'll take the floor," he said as he started to set up the mat and blankets.

"Nice of you to consider my opinion," ZiNuo said with a smile.

"I pity you and that's all," YuHan mumbled.

"It's time to get something to eat because the sun might go down anytime," ZiNuo said as he walked out of the room and YuHan followed.

"A deer would be nice right?" ZiNuo asked.

"I'm not a huge fan of meat in general," YuHan replied.

"Only vegetables or perhaps it's a Bai sect tradition?"

"Nothing like that."

After YuHan replied it was quiet to the point you can hear the birds chirping. "You're very quick to end an ongoing conversation, you know that right?" ZiNuo questioned.

"Don't like talking much and I shouldn't be talking to you either," YuHan responded.

"I wish I wasn't apart of this dumb tradition. I wish I was the second son instead. It's lonely being the first one and I'm not as good looking as my younger brother. My parents didn't even bother to raise me properly because they know I'll die anyways. At least I know I'll die by the hands' of someone as powerful as you," ZiNuo smiled, but you could see the pain in his eyes that he was trying to cover with a smile.

"I grew up without parents after I turned 10."

"That must have been hard to go through. Well at least be glad that you can use a sword like that," he said as he pointed at YuHan's sword. "I can only use needles, but I'm glad I can at least have a weapon. The sword at Yin sect doesn't seem to want to be wielded by me. I can't even pick it up."

"Your needles will do a lot of damage. I can't tell if I'm going to win against you," YuHan said seriously.

"I promise you'll win Bai Gongzi. I'll do my best to not disappoint my teacher," he said, while looking around to see if there was any to catch for dinner.

"You shouldn't treat your life as a toy, Yin Gongzi," Yuhan spoke.

"You're the second to care just a bit."

"I respect you as an opponent and don't pity me, letting me win because you don't want to live. You have a lot of potential."

"Not as much as you. I promise I'll be here till the day both of us are 22," he smiled before he stopped talking. We looked around to see if there was anything to hunt and right before our eyes we saw a deer.

"You or me?" ZiNuo whispered.

"Use your needle there's no need to make a huge puddle of blood here in the open," YuHan said.

Yuhan looked at ZiNuo and you saw needles flying out and he saw these thin red strings connected to every single needle. When he turned his head he saw a deer laying on the ground. The red strings pulled ZiNuo's silver needles back to him. Then the needles disappeared into thin air like magic.

"Isn't my magic quite fascinating?" he said with a smirk.

"Let's get the deer before someone else decides to cause trouble for us by stealing," YuHan said quickly and walked towards the deer. YuHan ended up carrying the deer back to the shed. The xiaojie took the deer to clean it and skin it.

ZiNuo Pov:

That Bai Gongzi doesn't even want to tell me his name and all he has on display is he's expressionless face. "Bai Gongzi, you want some vegetables to eat along with the deer meat?" He glared at me and I looked away. "Grumpy pants much," I said before I walked into the kitchen. "Young Miss, do you have any vegetables?" I asked.

"My family still has some vegetables, but I don't think it's enough for everyone with you two here," she said as she started to skin the deer.

"My friend out there likes eating vegetables more than meat. So do you perhaps know where to find these vegetables?"

"We don't grow vegetables here so we rely on the market nearby and the wild vegetables found near the cave to the east side of the shed. There's some edible mushrooms and carrots there. My eldest brother won't return with fresh vegetables till tomorrow. My second eldest brother will be back by dinner."

"You're such a nice young xiaojie," I smiled at her.

"It's what I can do for fellow travelers," she smiled back.

"You done?" Bai Gongzi said as he walked into the kitchen. He looked a bit grumpy than usual.

"Anyways, don't mind him too much. I'll go get some vegetables!" I said before I walked past him and out the kitchen.
