Cultivation and Bloodline Burning

10th Houtian Realm. Only a Realm before he could finally reach Xiantian. Although his foundation is really unstable, he now stood a chance against the vulture.

"Round 2 it is you beast, watch how ill tread your face on the ground." Magnus then release his Qi and roared while running towards the beast. "Uwaaaack!" The vulture screamed and its eyes bloodshot since it was already pushing itself past its limits. This man was already deemed as a monster by the beast. It transcended every human it has ever seen. Never in its life did the beast see anyone having red-gold blood. It also never saw someone that can transcend to 10th Houtian realm with a very unsteady foundation.

Magnus used his much stronger lightning claw while the beast used his evolved fireball skill "Filflame."

Both of their attack burned the village once again and the forest were also on fire. They battled again and the vulture was losing its advantage even though it has a stronger physique. Magnus' Qi seemed to be an abyss. He was continuously using his lightning element to cover his arms and legs. He thought that his endless Qi came from the person in his dreams and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. "Fist of Lightning!" Magnus shouted while focusing all of his lightning at his right fists. The vulture tried to dodge but still the attack hit it's right abdomen. If it didn't dodge its head would probably be gone right now.

The vultures right abdomen was missing and its face really looked really pale and it didn't move for a while. After a minute or so it closed its eyes and it focused its Qi on a one last attack.

Magnus also prepared his last attack. His Qi was still full but his body couldn't handle the wounds anymore and he was now in a very critical situation since the wound on his shoulder almost reached his heart. He focused his lightning on his arms and he mixed it with an unknown Qi that he felt when he was still unconscious. The vulture screamed while Magnus roared. Their voice was so loud that some of the forest leaves fell and their trunks bent. A normal Houtian battle wouldn't be this flashy and strong, it wouldn't cause a disaster like this.

An explosion happened and no one could see the outcome. The village was full of smoke and forest were on fire.

The smoke then dissapeared and a young man on his 20's was standing with his left arm holding his right shoulder. "Made it." Magnus said while spurting out red-gold blood. He then collapsed and while looking at the sky he said. "I guess death's the only way. Although I'm burning my blood and cultivation, I only have a 4% chance of survival. Tragic." Blood burning and cultivation burning is really dangerous since for the exchange of life force you need to burn your hard work and blood. Magnus read this in a book and tried for the first time right now.

He could feel his body losing life even though he was burning his cultivation and blood. His eyes were now feeling heavy. He then saw someone coming for him while flying. He didn't know whether it was a monster or a human since his vision was blurred and he was losing consciousness. "Please remove the fire, I can't do it since I feel like I'm dying." Magnus said while his head was still looking upward and his index finger pointing to the forest. He finally gave in and fainted.

The thing that approached Magnus was a woman. A woman that covered her face with a veil but it still failed to hide her splendid figure. The woman wore a blue dress and a farmer hat with a veil. He eyes were cold and the color of her skin was pale white. He then laid his eyes on the boy that seemed to be scarred all over his body. His face was now full of scars, ashes and blood. It was now almost impossible to notice that he was a very handsome young lad before. The woman scanned his body and his eyebrow arched. Magnus was now experiencing a very critical situation. His body was very pale showing that he doesn't have that much blood anymore and his internal organs were barred and crushed. "His physique and meridians are strange. The Qi in his body isn't flowing normally like a human." Said the woman. What she said was true. Magnus Qi isn't following the pathway that of human. Instead of his Qi flowing in his body circularly like humans, his flowed in a very complicated pathway.

"Young lad, it is your fortune to have encountered me. I will save you from this situation, but in return you shall be my disciple." The woman noticed that his Qi intake is very and his physique, albeit weak still didn't die after a battle like this.

The woman then grabbed Magnus and suddenly they dissapeared from the forest.

Magnus, not knowing what was happening outside was dreaming once again. This time he dreamt of his time on earth. When he was still on earth, he had everything. Money, woman and almost everything, but never once did he feel a sense of achievement. He felt that these things were nothing but entertainment. He wanted something more challenging and something that would arouse his fighting spirit just like when he was bullied by the children in the orphanage he lived in. Even though he felt like this he can't say that he doesn't feel sad about it though. A girl then suddenly appeared on his mind. "Magnus, have you been playing with women again?" "Magnus I told you to stop drinking any alcoholic beverages!" "Magnus, I lo- nevermind. Here! Eat your lunch!" There was a woman on earth that didn't look at him with greed eyes. She treated him like a friend and never thought of anything else. A smile then emerge on his lips as he thought of the time he spent with that wild, strong but intelligent girl.

"I thought that someone would pick me up when I'd die guess the books back on earth was wrong." Magnus said while sighing. As he was floating in the abyss of his mind he then heard someone play an instrument. "I guess that music is calling me. Well, whether or not I'll go to heaven, as long as I can eat food, any where will be fine." He shrugged while smiling.

After following the music for half an hour he finally found a person playing zither, but it was strange that the "someone" was him, albeit with white hair and dreamy eyes.

"How come you're here? You're the one who'll pick me up?" Magnus said. "I will not pick you up. This isn't the underworld nor heaven those stuff are nothing." The person said while still playing the zither. "Tea?" "Yes, please." Both of them were now drinking tea the guy pulled out of nothing. "Soooooooo. Where am I?" Magnus said while sipping his tea that was quite delicious and refreshing. "You are on your mind which is now almost dead." Said the person. "So I didn't die huh. How fortunate.

After that they no longer spoke. Magnus didn't know but even though they were silent, He didn't feel uncomfortable. In fact he was enjoying the tea which seemed unending and the zither that would sooth anyone that can hear it. He observed the person and he was thinking "It's like looking at myself, albeit he's a little bit too perfect." Indeed, the person looked perfect. Even though they looked alike you could say that the person Magnus is facing is better than him in looks and basically everywhere. He couldn't feel the person's cultivation and he felt like he was insignificant.

Magnus suddenly felt something pulling him as if he being forced inside a tornado. The person suddenly stood up and looked at him. "Short meeting I enjoyed. Your life will not end here, In fact it wouldn't end. Spread your greatness in the multiverse and crush those in your way. Never forget this moment for I will appear once again soon." The person said while smiling that seemed to be a smile of an old man.

Before Magnus could speak he was pulled out of the abyss. Although he was still unconscious he felt his life force coming back on a fast rate. His cultivation also dropped down. He didn't mind since he felt that having a high cultivation level but unstable foundation is very wrong. The endless and unknown Qi that filled up his body seemed to have also dissapeared. His internal organs were being mended in a fast rate and his blood were mixing with a foreign blood that he didn't know where it came from.

Magnus then opened his eyes only to see that he was in a cave. Although it was a cave it looked very beautiful and it was filled with rich spiritual Qi. He saw then saw a mirror and looked at himself. Scarred and full of bandages. He couldn't believe that his beautiful face transformed into something.... scary. Alas he could only fix his face once he reach Xiantian Realm and upgrade his Qi to be pure enough to heal his scars.

He walked and reached a room that was really big. It was comparable to a castle. A woman was sitting at the middle of the room and Magnus approached her. He then asked "Thank you for saving me senior. May this humble subject have the pleasure of know who you are?" Magnus said while bowing his head.

"I'm your teacher." The woman said, which left Magnus with an "Eh?"
