Xuan, the once-revered Space Emperor, was a figure of myth and legend. His mastery over the spatial arts made him unmatched in his prime. He could fold space with a flick of his hand, walk between worlds as easily as stepping through a door, and his power over the stars themselves earned him his title. Yet, despite all his might, Xuan had fallen—betrayed by those he once trusted,his empire shattered, and his cultivation crippled.

But the Martial Dao was not a straight line, nor did it end with defeat.

Xuan had always believed that the true essence of the Martial Dao was not in reaching the peak, but in the struggle to rise, again and again, no matter how many times fate knocked him down. His fall had only awakened a deeper understanding within him—an understanding that would propel him beyond his previous limits.

Wandering in the desolate void, Xuan discovered ancient techniques and remnants of civilizations long lost to the flow of time. Each one held fragments of power that, when pieced together, opened new doors to cultivation realms previously thought unreachable. His body, broken and weak, was forged anew in the flames of adversity. The very spatial laws he once mastered had now evolved within him.

Xuan’s enemies believed him to be finished, but they did not understand the determination of a man who had seen beyond the confines of life and death.

Space Time Emperor

After leaving the forbidden area, Xuan returned to the Rising Sun Palace.

He made his way through the grand hallways until he reached Ming Yue's quarters. With a deep breath, he removed the Mask of Uncertainty, feeling his presence return fully.

Standing outside her door, he called softly.

The door opened, and Ming Yue appeared, looking surprised to see him.

Ming Yue smiling said: "Xuan! It's been a while since you've come to visit. Is there something on your mind?"

Xuan said : "Actually, yes. I've heard you're heading to the central region to help the Yun family, and I was hoping I could join you."

Ming Yue tilted her head, curiosity in her eyes.

Ming Yue said : "You want to come with me? The journey is long, and it's mainly for my healing duties."

Xuan nodding said :"I understand, but I have my reasons. I need soul-related treasures to recover fully, and the central region is the best place to find them. It would be easier if I traveled with you."

Ming Yue looked thoughtful, considering his words.

Ming Yue: "Soul-related treasures? I see… you're still healing. But, Xuan, are you sure this is what you want? The central region isn't a simple place to visit."

Xuan: "I'm certain. I've thought about it carefully. The treasures I need are rare, and the central region is my best chance to find them."

Ming Yue sighing slightly said : "I understand, but it won't be a simple trip. The Yun family has requested me specifically for their master's treatment, and there could be risks involved."

Xuan firmly said:"I'm prepared for that. I'll stay out of the way if necessary, but I'd feel better knowing I have a purpose there. And I'll also be there to help if you need it."

Ming Yue's gaze softened as she thought about his offer.

Ming Yue: "You're very persistent, Xuan. But I'm concerned… This isn't just a journey; it's a delicate mission, and the Yun family has many secrets."

Xuan: "I understand the risks, and I don't plan to interfere. My focus will be on finding the treasures I need. If you're worried, I promise I'll stay out of any sensitive matters."

Ming Yue after a pause and said : "You're serious about this, aren't you?"

Xuan nodding said :"Yes, I am. This is important for my recovery."

Ming Yue finally nodded, a gentle smile on her face.

Ming Yue: "Very well, Xuan. If it means that much to you, I won't stop you. You can come with me to the central region. But remember, we're there to help the Yun family, so we'll need to be cautious."

Ming Yue studied him with a serious look, then gave a slight nod.

Ming Yue seriously said : "Alright, I'll allow you to come with me. But, Xuan, I need you to promise me something."

Xuan smiling said : "Anything. What do you need?"

Ming Yue raising an eyebrow said :

"Promise me that you won't engage in any of your… mischievous habits while we're there. No spying on women, especially not in the Yun family's residence. They are not as forgiving, and this isn't the place for such behavior."

Xuan shifted uncomfortably, a faint smile playing at the corner of his mouth.

Xuan seriously said : "Ming Yue, you know me well… But yes, I understand. I'll keep my focus on the mission and stay out of trouble."

Ming Yue sighing in relief said :"Good. I mean it, Xuan. The Yun family won't take any foolishness lightly. You must keep a low profile and stay respectful while we're guests in their domain."

Xuan: "I promise. I won't do anything reckless. My only goal is to find the treasures I need."

Ming Yue nodded, satisfied with his promise. Her expression softened slightly, and she placed a hand on his shoulder.

Ming Yue: "Thank you, Xuan. This journey isn't just for you; it's important for our alliance. Let's make sure everything goes smoothly."

Xuan: "Understood. I'll respect your guidance, Ming Yue. Thank you for letting me come with you."

Ming Yue smiling warmly :"Very well, then. Prepare yourself. We leave soon, and it will be a long journey."
