Pride of the Yun Family

Two days after their arrival in the Central Region, Xuan and Ming Yue were still adjusting to the grandeur of the Yun family's estate. They had already seen glimpses of its vast lands and felt the powerful energy that seemed to saturate every corner.

On this particular morning, Yun Qingshan arrived to personally escort them through the estate, a prideful smile on his face.

Yun Qingshan gesturing broadly to the vast landscape stretching before them :"Lady Ming Yue, Xuan, welcome to the heart of the Yun family's estate. Few outsiders have the privilege to see all that we have cultivated here over generations."

Ming Yue nodding, her eyes scanning the fields and forests said :"The Yun family's lands are extraordinary, Master Yun. The abundance here speaks to generations of dedication."

Xuan observing the vast fields of medicinal plants said :"Your resources are impressive. It's clear the Yun family has the strength and wisdom to maintain such wealth."

Yun Qingshan smiled, pleased with their reactions. He led them through rows of medicinal plants, each carefully cultivated, filling the air with a faint, soothing aroma. The estate was a tapestry of gardens, fields, and forests, each area carefully arranged to maximize the growth of valuable resources.

Yun Qingshan stopped beside a patch of plants with vibrant blue flowers that seemed to glow in the sunlight.

Yun Qingshan proudly said :"This is our Azure Starroot field. The roots of these plants have properties that aid in cultivation recovery. Only the Yun family possesses the means to grow them in such quantity and quality."

Ming Yue impressed : "Azure Starroot is rare even in the Central Region. The Yun family's influence truly shows in your mastery of these resources."

Yun Qingshan nodding said  "We've spared no effort to maintain this estate and our resources. Over here…" gesturing to another field "…we have Moonshadow Leaf. It requires the precise combination of moonlight and shade, so we've created an area specifically designed for its growth."

Xuan said : "Moonshadow Leaf… It's an herb I've only heard about. Its properties for soul recovery are powerful, yet difficult to harness."

Yun Qingshan proudly said : "Exactly, Xuan. Only a few families in the Central Region can cultivate it effectively. We pride ourselves on being one of them."

After showing them the fields, Yun Qingshan led Xuan and Ming Yue to the Spring Palace. This guest residence was nestled amidst tranquil gardens and small, clear ponds that reflected the sky.

Yun Qingshan gesturing to the grand structure said : "This is the Spring Palace. It's one of our most peaceful places, built to offer rest and rejuvenation to our honored guests. The waters here are drawn from a natural spring with calming properties."

The palace itself was magnificent. It had intricate carvings along its stone walls, and silk curtains gently swayed with the breeze. The gardens surrounding it were filled with vibrant flowers and fragrant herbs.

Ming Yue smiling said : "Thank you, Master Yun. The Spring Palace is beautiful. We appreciate the hospitality."

Yun Qingshan smiling proudly: "It is our honor to host you both. I've ensured that everything you might need has been arranged here, from meals to the use of our herbal stores."

Xuan: "The Yun family's generosity is clear. The Spring Palace truly feels like a place apart from the world."

As they entered the Spring Palace, Xuan and Ming Yue were each given spacious rooms overlooking the gardens. The view of the tranquil waters, framed by the lush gardens, was calming, making it a perfect place to rest after their journey.

Later, as they walked through the gardens, Ming Yue turned to Xuan.

Ming Yue: "The Yun family's wealth and influence are even greater than I expected. It's clear they take pride in showcasing it."

Xuan nodding thoughtfully said: "Yes, but it also serves as a reminder. With resources like these, they have the power to influence much of the Central Region. We must tread carefully."

Ming Yue: "Agreed. This is a place of both opportunity and caution. But we have our goals, and we will achieve them."

They shared a look of understanding, both aware of the careful balance they would need to strike as they stayed within the Yun family's domain. For now, however, they would take advantage of the serenity of the Spring Palace, using it to rest, plan,later.

The arrival at the Yun family had marked the beginning of a new phase, one that held both promise and challenge.
