The Soleil empire

The moon shined brightly as a gentle breeze carried across the gardens. The soft sound of leaves ruffling in the wind echoed slightly.

With a sigh, a certain gold-hair knight walked down the path of the gardens. Searching for some sort of peace, feeling a slight discomfort of being so far from Soleil. It had already been three days since he had arrived. They weren't able to get back as soon as they expected for obvious reasons. The princess was still retired in her room recovering. With little left to do, he had sent a letter to the Soleil emperor of the news. Being sent a surprisingly quick response to allow the princess enough time to recover before making plans to come back. The emperor didn't want the Celestia princess's health to decline if she came unwell. Believing maybe the princess would be happier remaining in her home and family for a few days more. Requesting of him instead to keep a close eye on the princess, to be there if anything was needed. Since the princess never stepped out of her room there was not much he could do. Only explore the cold climate empire that would soon be united together with the Soleil empire.

Still, Juvel couldn't help but admire the empire. It was in some ways opposite to the Soleil empire. Walking down Celestia's streets he couldn't help but notice how happy the citizens appeared. There was a large sense of tranquility around the empire. No need to fear anything as the citizens praised the royal family and silver doe. The mother of these lands. Praising the three pillars of Celestia as the silver doe's children.

He almost felt bad for the siblings hearing the phrase the citizens had for the three pillars of Celestia. Every citizen he questioned only spoke how great the siblings had been. Fighting in the war and becoming their saviors. The three children of the silver doe. The three pillars. The shield, sword, and saint. These are the names utter by the citizens as they praised the siblings. None truly aware of what being on the battlefield could do to a person. Rather than people they were praised as saints as they pretended to remain strong with smiles on their faces as they returned from war.

Juvel himself knew what that can do to a person. Before the emperor took the throne he was sent out to many battles by the previous emperor. In efforts to send the then crown prince to die in battle. Juvel himself witness the torture his cousin suffered through each time he came back from war. Forcing himself to hide behind walls of stone. All in order to survive under the ruling of the previous emperor.

Gazing up at the starry sky Juvel sighed letting out a small smile. How different these two empires seemed yet something that tied the two together was there.

Two lands ruled over by opposite spirits. This land that was covered with snow all year long had a beautiful elegance to it. As strong and elegant as the silver doe who guarded over it. Juvel always used listened to the emperor before he took the throne speak of how different the two empires really were. In comparison to the beauty and elegance of how it was ruled by the royal family. With the heart to rule for the people and to protect the lands. Rules of righteous that stood against any injustice. Peaceful as the silver doe. Soleil on the other hand was ruled in the same passion of a wild flame. Rule with strength and passion to achieve a powerful empire.

With the powerful cry of the golden firebird and the elegance of silver, doe untied Juvel couldn't help but wonder what the future would hold.

With a tired sigh, he set his gaze away from the starry sky. His eyes widening with slight shock as a small gasp released from his parted lips.

There under the light of the moon stands of wavy silver hair danced in the wind as pearly white skin seemed to glow. Reminding him of a white lily or freshly fallen snow. She stood there in all her grace seeming so far out of each with her eyes gazing so far away. Juvel could not imagine what she was looking for or searching for. Standing under the large tree in the middle of the garden she suddenly seemed so small and fragile. Just as he took a step forward she turned her gaze sensing his presence. There eyes gazing deep into one another in a clash of gold and silver-violet.

Two people born in different worlds, suddenly crashing into one place.
