The Perfect World

It was an awkward silence between all of us. All I could hear was the sound of slime rolling around us.

Did I say something wrong? He said he would give me Nicole's soul, I don't think I asked a difficult question.

"Hey Bob, I'm going to go now. My show is on and I really don't have time to be doing your job as a trainer. Sooooo, BYE!" Lexios says waving.

The screen goes blank and Bob says something making the water fall back into the cauldron. Now seriously, What the Hell?

"What did I say wrong?" I look up at Bob. He sighed and looked down at me.

"I should have said before that you wouldn't get her soul immediately. You-"

"WHAT! WHY NOT?"

"Can you seriously stop interrupting me and just let me talk?" he says to me seriously.

I stare at him hard for a good minute than I take a deep breathe. I need to calm down, Bob has helped me so much and the least I can do is say thank you.

"Sorry, thanks for helping me. Can you please explain why I can't see her."

"Your welcome, you can't have her until "The Conference". Now before you ask, The Conference is an event that happens one every Creator's year where different Creators come to sell ideas, souls, and pretty much anything and also to gain more Creation Points. We also use it to challenge other Creators to a World War which is when two Creators battle each other using their own creation as collateral. There are different kinds of wars from one on one battles, teams or army battle, and whole worlds battle. World battles are like if I had 5 planets and someone challenges me to a World war. The system would randomly select who is on the attacking side or the defending side and the attacking side will get to invade the other person's worlds. If the attack team conquers the defender's world then, they get to keep it. This stuff is not really important to you know until you create a world which meets the requirements to join the World Wars."

I understand how World Wars works, but I don't know how this has anything to do with Nicole. Bob continues talking before I get to ask about Nicole.

"Now to go to The Conference you must be invited by the System or maybe the Supreme. No one really knows who actually invites us, but the system sends the invitation and I figure the Supreme told it to."

"Okay, but I am a Master of Creation right? So shouldn't I get an invite?" I asked really confused. This is a lot of information to take in.

"Well technically, your not one yet because you didn't connect to the system and even if you were you wouldn't get an invite yet. You would have to create a world that is self sustainable which include something or someone to protect your world if you were to leave. Most creators use Gods because they help influence the world that they were created for and they have enough power and motive to protect the world you created. The reason why I mentioned the World Wars is because once you get invited to the Conference you will have a one month protection period before the system randomly assigns you an opponent to start a World War."

"Wait, I thought the Conference was for World Wars?"

"It is, but that's only if you have bad blood with someone then you would be able to challenge one person once a Creator's year. The system will assign wars to everyone throughout the year. Now depending on the opponent, you won't have to fight to the death. You can contact your opponent before hand and negotiate how to end the war safely for both of you. Now, do you understand why she can't come with you yet?" Bob stares down at me waiting for my answer.

I don't like that I have to join in the World wars and wait a whole year to get Nicole back, but all I can do is make the most out of it. Maybe this is a good thing, because I can make the perfect world that I know Nicole will love. Yes! I will make a world, NO, a universe that Nicole had always talked about. Maybe a fantasy or superhero or an anime world. The possibilities are endless.

Alright Nicole, I am going to make all our dreams come true so just wait for me.

"Bob, when can we start?" I say looking up at him.

"I'm glad you agreed, this is going to change your life forever. Now, let's go back to your domain."
