Chapter 115: Out Of Control

[Border Town]

The sudden change of atmosphere and departure of Belial was unexpected for the citizens, together with Alda and Lily

At first they thought that since the threat has left the vicinity, they were now practically safe and this made the citizens who were originally living within the former Border Town to cry in relief and joy as they managed to survive another day

With cheers erupting from them a sudden twist of fate happened when suddenly the sky started to turn dark and grim and the wind started to get violent

Sooner or later loud thunder cracks can be heard and seen above the clouds and yet there were no heavy rain at all

"Ahhhhh!!!"

As the scream from one of the citizens mouth, all of them including both Alda and Lily abruptly turned their gaze at Kaido who was somehow could be seen writhing in pain as it holds its head and started to press his forehead unto the ground

Following that along the walls of the former town dozens of tornadoes sprung up reaching to the dark, grim clouds from above

Adding to it a hail from above started pouring in as the combination of ice and heat rained down from high above

Due to this all of the citizens were panic-stricken and started to take shelter as they hold unto something for safety

Since both Alda and Lily were already depleted of their Mana, they had no choice but to drag their unconscious allies straight to the covers

Soon after their fear was added as the ground started to shake a little and the temperature abruptly changing from time to time

From cold that is comparable to 0 degrees to heat of 58 degrees

Upon seeing this one could say that the world started to go crazy as it intends to finish of mankind

With a worried look Lily gazed at the source of this abruptly change of the surroundings, and that person is currently in pain as if hundred of needles stabbed his body

I'm truth however Kaido's situation was way worse that what Lily imagined, putting aside the feeling of being pricked by hundred of needles, it was more like being forcefully attack mentally

Because of Belial's demons eye, Kaido's mind was continuously being assualted with pain and agony and at times being shown some illusions of sufferings

Hell, truly hell

That is one word that Kaido could describe his own situation

As if that wasn't enough of a struggle, the cursed sword that is always competing for the supremacy over his own body, took this chance to get ahold of Kaido's sanity

This was being transmitted straight to his head in a form of directly assaulting his mind

If Kaido wouldn't be able to defend himself from this, then he would really turn into something like a mindless monster with only one goal in mind and that is to kill

In retaliation Kaido tried to resist as much as he can against the cursed sword

Right now he is like being attacked at both sides with nowhere to escape

In retaliation Kaido started to smashed his head unto the ground as he gritted his teeth

Because he was fighting against a mental assault and against a cursed sword, he started bleeding from his eyes, nose and mouth as he endured the pain

He couldn't let go of the cursed sword no matter what, because if he did then someone would just pick it up and be possessed by it, causing more trouble for him than needed

To prevent that he resolutely stayed in possession of the cursed sword as he have a chance to defend himself

But with the demon's eye his defense became weak which led to this

As he fought against this, the nature and environment around him became crazy as heck, not soon after icicles started to form around him as his body started to turn ice while he is being surrounded by a sea of fire and an encirclement of dozens of tornadoes

"Just let me and I'll kill anyone your way!"

"Whoever said I need your strength?!"

"I'll kill them!"

"I said shut up!"

As if being stretched apart he is really currently in a struggle Against the cursed sword

"This damn sword! I'll definitely find a way to destroy you!!!!"

As he tried to retaliate blood spurt all over his body as wounds started to appear out of nowhere along his body

He was bleeding all over as this happened

After some time the ground cracked and shattered as it lifted up to form a desolate area

As this was happening not far from him the Hero Hibiki who was unconscious all this time started to glow bright as it envelopes his body

After that it started to rise up from the ground, but his atmosphere and composure wasn't the same as before

If one could say the Hibiki has a tense aura then the current Hibiki has a dangerous of indignant aura around him

As if the situation was normal for him Hibiki stood up while being clad in bright light, he then started to look around and saw Kaido who was writhing in pain

As he tilted his head he started to approach Kaido

"Truly such unsightly being... . . If only I was at my full strength I would have finished you off right here, but alas this person wishes to save thy comrade... . . Truly human emotions are nigh"

It wasn't Hibiki was talking at all in his body, at the time he was pseudo possessed by Raguel the celestial spirit who decided to reside inside Hibiki and wait for the right time of his descent into this world

Raguel has deep hatred for the demons and demi-humans for him they were the picture of abomination and disgust making him almost comparable to Hibiki who hates demi-humans

Even though Kaido was emitting a demonic aura because of the cursed sword, he has no choice but to help him for it is Hibiki's wish to help Kaido even if it disgust him in such way

"Thy human should be grateful as this great one save thou from suffering... . . But when the day comes, this great one will remove you for you are a hindrance to this great one's plan" said Raguel haughtily

In Return to that Kaido directed a glare at Raguel who is inside the body of Hibiki

"Y... . . You bastard! What are you... . ."

As he glared at him the former however placed his finger atop of his head and started chanting something that is foreign In human language

After he chanted various verses he directed his hand above the latters head and said the name of the spell

"Deliverance!!!"

As he said that as if the weight of all the pain and suffering that was currently assaulting Kaido, was suddenly lifted as if it wasn't there in the first place

After being relieved just like that, Kaido gave of a death glare at Raguel before falling to a deep state of unconsciousness

Seeing Kaido's current status, raguel gave off a mocking smile before returning the body of Hibiki to it's former state

When Raguel had undone his possession, Hibiki's body started to fall on his back, completely out cold

Consequently the environment around them started to clear up and return to normal signaling Alda, Lily, and the citizens that the crisis was over

When they confirmed that it was safe, they immediately spotted Kaido and Hibiki from afar and started to ran up to them to give their assistance

With this the situation in border town was concluded on a whim and life threatening battle

On the backyard of the Manor lodging where Sui and Zia is currently located were currently having their own leizure time by strolling along the backyard

Not far from them both Okou and Rebecca were having a sparring match to better their skills in fighting in order to be of use to Kaido when the time is needed

During those time when Kaido was away both Okou and Rebecca showed signs of improvement

Among the two Rebecca improved by a lot because of the help from her father's advice

For quite sometime Marquez Lucio secretly helped Rebecca to become much more stronger than before in accordance to the request of Rebecca's mother, Lucio's second wife

There is also the urge to show some result to Kaido which made to have no choice but to give pointers to Rebecca so that she could be of help to Kaido

During this past days after receiving a report about the mysterious town of Kaido from his second wife, he soon realized that somehow unknown to Kaido's knowledge his roots among the slaves that were saved have been enormous

The reason for this because of the merchants that had directly met Kaido

Instead of calling it a small town, it's appropriate to say that it was already to a point of calling it a huge town with it's own government system centering to Kaido's ownership

As they spend their time like this, the atmosphere suddenly changed as a huge magic circle appeared above the city and started to bombard the city with numerous attacks causing havoc

Of course the Manor where Kaido's companions were currently staying at was blown apart causing Zia, Rebecca, and Okou to lately react when multiple cloaked people entered their vicinity and grabbed Sui

"Grabbed her! She is wearing some grand clothes! She must be important for the empire! Quickly! Before they come"

As the grabbed Sui and ran away, the three of them snapped out of their daze and tried to retrieve Sui at all cost

But to no avail the enemy has already distanced themselves as they were being hindered at the same time

The kidnappers must have mistaken Sui as an noble child because of her clothing and the place their staying

"Sui!"

"Wait!"

"Damn it!"

As they shouted this the enemy was nowhere to be seen

Not only Sui but multiple noble children from the empire was also kidnapped with an attempt to hold them as hostages against the Empire and bring great disadvantage to them

With this the whole empire was brought to turmoil as some kidnapped children involved people with power to the society

With no lead at all the empire tried to endure the this humiliation that was brought upon them as they contemplated their next move
