Chapter 136: A Incident That Changed Everything III

[Eldion Empire Capital]

Gripping Sui tightly against his chest Kaido calculated the exact location where they will land and conjured a wind cushion at the area to provide as a safety net for when they fall

As they land safely he dashed forward by instantly kicking the ground he's standing with and ran without post

His number one priority is to get his so called daughter out of the empire in order for the latter to never have any card to restrain him, incidentally when everything calms down he could plan his next move which could also include paying the empire back from what they did this day

He swore that the empire will suffer greatly if he manage to escape, especially if they hurt or take something away from him

When he arrived near the gate he saw rows after rows of Empire's Knight and mages blocking it as they started to draw their swords and cast their spell

"Don't let him escape!!!"

"Mages get ready your spells!!!"

With that he conjured frosty element in his right hand and swung it upwards sending a huge wave of ice directly at the unsuspecting knights and mages

As the wave of ice hits them some were frozen, while most got impaled by its spikes and the iron door that's is blocking the gate was blown up along with it

At that he dashed forward again

Coming out of the hole that he created Raguel saw the ice protruding out till pass the gates and Kaido gripping tightly against Sui as he ran

Gathering Mana in the air, Raguel manifested light attribute around him as he used a spell

"Sword of light!!!"

At that mention ten sword of light hovered around him, he used six of them to strike forward while he shot out another three at a later time than the first six

Sensing danger frosty element started conjuring in his hand as Kaido confronted the incoming attack by creating an arc of ice right behind causing a huge explosion as the two powers collides

With that he quickly turned around to start running again when another three sword of light that was shot a little late passed through the smoke and stab the three different locations of Kaido's body namely shoulder, sides, and calves on his legs

"Agh!!!"

"Papa!!!" Cried out sui as he noticed that Kaido was sweating profusely as blood trickled out not only on his lips but also along his body parts

Cause of that some blood was touched by Sui that stained her clothes and her hands, which made her worry even more for Kaido

"I'm fine!" Replied Kaido as he writhed in pain

"Your injury... . . Papa!" Cried Sui as tears started to form from seeing Kaido suffer

"Oi! No crying! Remember... . . We don't cry that easily"

"Umu!" Nodded Sui as she tries to be brave for him

Seeing that Kaido has stopped on his tracks and the sword that was stabbed at him started to desintigrate, Raguel's shot out his teaming sword of light directly at Kaido without any remorse at all

Seeing that the latter clicked his tongue as he activated his lightning clad and dashed forward at an enhanced speed

Adruptly as the sword fall near to the floor it quickly made a turn as it follows Kaido like a homing magic attack

"Tch!" He clicked his tongue

Noticing that Kaido tried his best to maneuver his movements as it tried everything in his disposal to get rid of the homing magic

As he dashed along the district the sword also dashes at an incredible speed to reach him, with that he either dodge, jumps wall to wall, slid, summersault, and even different freestyles just to try to get rid of the magic

Later on they passed through the district and arrived at the square as he tries to pass the crowd with his amazing reflexes and reaction, but the sword didn't waver as it follows him causing disturbance among the populace

As he turned a corner he gathers electrical energy on his palm and plans to release a discharge to counter the homing spell that is quite similar to how modern emp works

As he stepped he quickly turns around and released an electrical discharge causing the homing magic to explode and him taking the full recoil of the attack, completely shooting him off his feet

As he stumbles and rolls against the floor his lightning clad came undone as it started to take a toll on his stamina and injured body

Holding Sui tightly he stood up from the ground and started to walked limply towards the exit and expected another rows of guard Knight to wait for him

Unexpectedly when he arrived the only thing he saw was a bloody mess that filled the area with dead body of soldiers which seemed to have fought against each other

Holding Sui near his chest to prevent her from seeing this and with tired eyes and limping walk, Kaido trudge forward u til he passes a familiar soldier that also notices him along side another two soldiers

The soldier happens to be Mike and his two friends that is still barely alive from all the injuries they acquired

As Mike and his friends saw Kaido approaching, a smile of satisfaction appeared on their faces as they supported themselves with the sword they held and stood opposite of Kaido

"Hehe! You've made it!" Said Mike haggardly

"Took you long enough" commented Carlo

"And here I thought you were dead" added Sid

As the three of them staggered, Kaido clearly understand what had transpired here as he started to deduct

"Don't tell me... . . "

"Yup! Just as you speculated... . . Some of this corpses came from our troops that sided with us and fought against the Empire's soldiers" explained Mike as he coughed out blood

"But don't misunderstand, we chose this out of our own accord... . . Since you did good to us, it is only natural if we help you in this case" said Carlo as he supported Sid

"Don't worry about your companions, they are long gone from the empire... . . Heck they might have already escaped the borders seemingly from their spells they might know some teleportation magic that is quite rare" assured Sid with his tired eyes and blood trickling down his forehead

Walking pass Kaido and standing behind him the three stood imposingly as they faced the empire, at that moment Kaido rebuked them

"Are you guys crazy? Do you know that since all of you came from the same village and has gone against the empire, they might kill your family!!!"

"Papa!" Cried Sui as she felt Kaido's anger

Glancing at the girl that Kaido was hiding Mike replied

"So your a father... . . Never saw that one coming" said Mike with longing eyes

"Mike" comforted by his two friends

"Unfortunately I won't have the luxury of meeting mine even once..." Said Mike as he started to tear up

Turning his back away from both Kaido and Sui he said out loud

"Take care of our family and loved ones, have them escape together with you to some other place... . . And also... . . Take care of my two months pregnant wife" said Mike as he seemed to be crying behind his stern voice

"We leave them to you" added Sid as he felt a bit crying too

Gritting his teeth Kaido immediately dismissed them as he said

"I don't care what you guys chose, it's your own life"

With that Kaido pushed forward as he passes  through the gates and left the Empire's capital

Standing beside his two friends Mike loudly proclaimed

"Odd way of saying I'll take care of them"

"Kids this days... . . They are quite shy" joke aside by Carlo as he stood up on his two feet

"But still... . . This will be the last time I'm fighting with you guys" smirked Sid

"Seems so... . . If we ever got reincarnated I would always fight alongside with you guys too" smiled Carlo

In reply to the two Mike smiled imposingly as he hears the Empire's troops getting closer by the minute

"It's been quite an adventure with you guys"

"Quite an adventure indeed"

"Agree"

With their goodbye's said out loud for them to hear, the group of three friends dashed forward to face the Empire's troops that lead to a bitter fight to the death

Later on as Kaido has left for quite a while Raguel was quite amused on how he struggled just to escape from his grasp

"So he escaped"

Contrary to him when the King Emperor heard the report of Kaido's successful escape he grabbed the crown on his head and threw it at the soldier in rage as he blew up

"You incompetent fool! He's just one person! How can you guys not even catch him? I wasted a lot of funding for the military and yet you let him get away? How incompetent can you be?" He shouted

Hearing the report Duke Agra writhed in anger as he predicted

"With him successfully escaping, he would devise a plan to return the favor... . . Probably he would cause destruction towards the empire and possibly turn it upside down as he brought chaos... . . He has infinite choices to exact his revenge"

At that mention Raguel stepped inside as he assured them

"When that time comes... . . I'll handle him, he won't be able to injure me since he's just a lowly human"

"And that same human manage to escape from you" rebuked Duke Agra

"That is entirely at my fault" apologized Raguel

As the King Emperor took a sit on his empty throne, he strike his head as the soldier additionally reported

"Also the soldiers that helped their escape were killed and was traced back to its initiator towards the Guild master... . . What shall we do?"

Hearing the report King Emperor Ergo was surprised to hear that the Guild master went against him

"We will take care of him, as for the soldiers that betrayed the empire... . . Hang them up in the gates and the square to remind the populace on what will happen to those who went against the empire" he ordered

"Understood"

From that moment onwards news on what happened in the empire spread to other kingdoms, turning everything to their attention to the sole antagonist of the news

All the respect and prestige that the received from Kaido went down as they also labeled him as an enemy of the empire

In that case most of the kingdoms has labaled Kaido as someone who should be killed and was placed on the number one on the wanted list on posters, except for three places namely Ingra Kingdom, Screa Port City, and Guila town

Since the empire was hostile to this particular individual, the neighboring kingdoms sent assassins to kill their enemy in hopes to gain favor from the empire

With his plummet Kaido was branded the enemy of all and the sole villain in the Empire's plot to a justified and fair world

One day has passed since the incident, Kaido managed to arrive at the far off village where the former princess and Elly supported the tired person

As he finally managed to rest Kaido adruptly told them on what happened, upon it's report Elly broke down crying as the other villagers comforted her, while the princess gritted her teeth to how the empire act

Unfortunately Kaido was already planning on how to deal the empire and exact his revenge

When he glance at Marrielle, he deducted on how to use her to antagonize the empire even more as an evil smile crept up his face from his dubious ideas

Firstly he need to get stronger if he wants for his revenge to succeed or else their guardian the celestial Raguel would just counter him easily

So he went towards the magic circle that Melfina has made according to Anna's teaching and pondered to how to activate it

The only thing he remember is something unique that would Identify him and the only thing he can think off is DNA

After he told the villager that he will bring them to a safer location in accordance to Mike's dying wish, they immediately packed up and gathered near him

Finally he bits off hard enough that caused him to bleed and let it pour over the magic circle causing the one time transport towards the hidden town to activate

Without further ado a light flashes and diminish Instantly leaving only an empty space and an unusable magic circle in a now abandoned village, completely erasing the existence of the villagers on the area
