Chapter 151: Sui's Hometown
[South Of Beastman Country Sea, Transport Ship, Kaido's Lounge]
About time in the midnight just right about before sunrise, Kaido was looking out towards the horizon while gripping a knife on his right hand
Still his expression was calm and if someone was to describe him, they would say that he looks like a serial killer that was so calm as he holds a knife in an intimidating position
When he saw that light has yet to risen he instead yawn out of exhaustion and turned his head back to his bed where apparently Sui is sleeping deeply and snuggling on the pillow
Apparently Sui herself wanted to spend more time with Kaido since she felt that somehow the latter was quite busy nowadays, with that she requested that during this entire one week trip on sea towards the Beastman Country that she would atleast stay and sleep together with Kaido to atleast spend some quality father and daughter bonding
At first Kaido was reluctant but after pestering him for almost few hours incessantly non-stop he soon gave up and allowed what Sui wanted
In turn Zia was relieved of her duty for.one week too and thus was able to spend some time with her sister Melfina and other members of the group including the recently joined stowaways
After that he switch his gaze towards the man who was somehow tied tightly with a rope on the chair with all of four of his limbs restrained and his mouth covered with a cloth and tied with a face towel
As the rope also tied the man around the knee, calves, stomach, chest, and neck area, Kaido soon left the window and went towards the tied up person who's looking at him with bloodshot eyes and expression full of confusion and fear
As Kaido took a sit opposite to the tied up man, he soon stab a piece of paper after playing with the knife, apparently the paper was a wanted poster of him that was handed by the empire to different mercenaries and Adventurers In order to hunt him down
Since he's works alone that means he isn't an adventurer since the organization knows how strong he is and a team or an army is needed to hold him down, while being an assassin was also a big no-no since he doesn't have the equipment of being an assassin nor does he know how to hide his presence, in the end Kaido deducted that he was just a simple mercenary
"Such poor guy!... . . Alright! Let's start from the top" said Kaido
"Mmmffff! Mmmffff!!!"
Apparently the man felt like the rope was moving as it tightens on its own, and such task was easy for Kaido since the rope was just made out of pure tree fiber and line that was grouped up with multitudes of strands of fiber and linen that would make it so strong and hard to break rope like the saying "separate we are weak, but together we are strong"
Since it's just some nature material Kaido just needed some ordinary psychic ability to control it minimally
"You guy are a mercenary... . . And based on how I asked you previously, you said... . . Based on you of course that you just luckily found me out at the very first day I arrived at Screa Port City and immediately knew that I was leaving through a boat to another country the next day... " Said Kaido as he fiddled with a knife
"Mmmffff!!!"
"And when you received that kind of information, while thinking about the future reward you'll get, you soon bravely decided to aboard the ship and waited for a right moment to sneak up and kill me" stated Kaido while looking a bit irritated
"Mmmffff!!! Mmmffff!!!!! Mmmffff!!!"
Since the man kept struggling Kaido's patience blew up as he stab the calves of the man and twisted it while looking at it angrily
"Mmmmmmmmffffffffff!!!!!!!!" Reacted the man as he seemed to be screaming in pain
"Shut it!"
"There's a kid sleeping on the room, and if you ever wake her up and make her see this disgusting figure of yours... . . I'm going to screw you up with a pole in your ass and feed you to the fishes... . . Now where are we?" Said Kaido as he stared daggers at the tied up man
Upon being reprimanded the man gritted his teeth as his saliva dripped down his chin as he hold his urge to shout out in pain in order not to wake up the sleeping kid
"In chance without prior information about me, you took me for granted and crept up near me on the sixth day on the ship thinking that I'm just a young man who got a kid and bunch of adult and people my age travelling with me... . . Aren't you underestimating me too much? Didn't you atleast wonder why the empire posed a huge sum of money just to hunt me down?... . . Look this is 100,000 gold royals... . . There must be a reason why they placed such a high sum on my head" stated Kaido as if he felt the man was stupid
"....."
Hearing no reply Kaido breath out a sigh as he said
"No worries your not the only stupid person that underestimated me just because of my calm like and vulnerable appearance" said kaido as he gazed at the meanwhile supporting his cheek with a hand on the table seemingly bored
With his rare red eyes looking straight at him, which seemed to see through him, the man felt like he was constantly getting choked since the time he started talking, apparently the choking imagination was not an imaginary at all as the rope was actually slowly choking him
Apparently when Kaido asked Pablo why people seemed to gaze at him surprisingly whenever they had eye contact with his red eye, the latter immediately explained the reason why
The thing was having a human with red eyes was rare especially when he's not that pale and instead has fair skin and black hair with a tinge of whiteness at some strands
Red eyes were the trait of vampires in the Demon Continent thus they easily can be distinguished by people, they also have guessed that vampire has somewhat attractive red eyes that can charm people and has a figure of a noble and charming men and women of different age and sizes
Apparently the people at first thought that Kaido was a vampire since he has red eyes and quite charming in his own way while putting aside his random mental breakdown and villain like behaviour from time to time
Getting back on to the situation at hand, the man seemed to have notice the meaning behind Kaido's words and profusely started sweating
"Ah yeah! There are other people that tried to attack inside the ship but apparently they're all already dead and are currently sleeping with the fishes" shrugged Kaido while giving off a villain like smile
With this the man strated to struggle again but the rope was already so tight that it started to choke him
"Congratulations! Your the tenth person to actually sneak up on me... . . I hope next time we meet again is some other way the gods forbid... . . I hope that in that way you'll try a little bit more harder... . . Also try to atleast gather information about me first" reminded Kaido while leaning down on his chair and looking at the spectacle with a villain like smile
This time the man felt some of his bones cracked due to the tightening and his muscles started to probed him with so much pain that he kept struggling just to break free
When he fell unto the ground squirming as saliva droop unto the floor and fresh blood from the opened up wounds, he gazed lastly at Kaido only to see the person was actually enjoying this as he said
"Shhh! Quite now, you don't want the kid to wake up now do ya?"
Hearing that of course didn't ease him one bit as he felt a fiber of his muscles was snapped and brought him incredible pain
"Mmmffff!!!" He screamed
This time he started convulsing as his saliva spreader out unto the floor and blood.mixing unto it, soon for about ten minutes straight the man finally died when his neck eventually snapped completely killing him
After that Kaido sensed Melfina hiding in the shadows waiting for his order as he said
"Clean this up quickly, I don't want sui to wake up seeing a man dead unto the floor with his fluids spread out like a mess"
With that order Melfina immediately started her work and pulled the man out side the door easily like a bag and started to clean up the floor using the potion made by Anna for convenience
Apparently Kaido noticed Melfina started to have her once slim and flexible body to have well toned female body with slight muscles overtime and deducted it due to the recent fighting with strong opponent's and constant training that made her body like that
He easily distinguished this since Melfina always to expose her belly which made Kaido to easily notice the changes, also he noticed that both Rebecca and Okou were improving in state of fighting capability
Rebecca seemed to be getting stronger as her father Marquez Lucio started teaching her the sword arts of their ancestors and handed her an inheritance sword owned by her ancestors, while for Okou he seemed to get stronger and better equipped ever since Luke started training him on how to be a strong guardian
Well having your companion get stronger overtime posed kaido as more of an asset than benefit since he knows that the opponent will soon be more stronger than before as time time passes
When Dawn hits he soon noticed the land where they were supposed to arrive and finally mad it towards the land

[Holvart Port Town]
As the ship landed after few hours, the group immediately headed their way towards the end of the harbour and j to the wide streets of the town as buzzing business and different advertisement was being shout out by common beastfolk
"Salt for sale! Buy now!"
"Fresh fish! Anyone likes fresh fish?!?!"
"Tour around the coastal plate is now available!!!"
"Have breakfast on our diner and pub right now!!!"
"Letter for the owner of the harbour coming through"
As they heard this different propaganda, the group soon deducted that this town was apparently flourishing in terms of market and trading thus which seemed made other people feel bright and happy
"Alright guys seems like we will spend our few nights here so find an inn, also Pablo will be staying here since he is objective to connect with the underground organizations here and start a business market here" said Kaido
Soon Pablo asked him
"Kaido-sama! The reason for our wide branching is for acquiring gold?" Asked Pablo
"Well mostly since gold is important in this world and money means power, soon the world will plunge into war and by then money would be the most important thing since money is needed for buying supplies and equipment for war" explained Kaido
"I see"
"Also with so much money I want you to better equip the Ingra Kingdom and the hidden town for the upcoming war if we want to survive atleast... . ."
"Understood" replied Pablo
Soon after they started to move near the market place some kids with gills for ears just like Sui ran past through them while playing tag
And eventually out of excitement and sparkling eyes which is noticeable from her since they landed, Sui quickly pulled Kaido's arm as she excitedly said something that shocked him and also explained her current expression of emotions
"Papa! Papa! Papa! This is my hometown! Mama! Mama is here!!!"
Hearing that Sui's mother was apparently in this town shocked everyone especially Ingrid who let go of her princess title for a moment and is in her casual attire felt like something was cut in her heart that she felt hurt for Sui saying her own mother is here and Kaido was the father
For a moment Ingrid held unto Sarah her current guard as she said
"It seems like I felt dizzy for a moment" she said while Sarah is supporting her
Seeing her bright expression Kaido soon realized where the kids energy and excitement is coming from since he too still felt the lingering warm of his own parent and didn't blame them for his suffering causing all his anger to flare up towards the scientist and the government in his old world, apparently he also longed for his mother's embrace and his father warmth atmosphere but he clearly knew that the past couldn't be the same anymore since he's changed a lot after these few months in this world and has killed a lot of people in contrast to his good mannered and neatly behaved past
With a sneer he ordered everyone
"Alright! Looks like the plan has changed, let's gather information on Sui's mother's whereabouts... . . And maybe just maybe get a free room rent for a few days"
"Understood!" Said the Kaido's other companions
Whole for Rebecca and other people who deemed Kaido as an acquaintance rather than master approached Sui as they congratulate her
The girl in return gave off a cheerful smile as she happily replied with their words
