Shock as he may be from the sudden kiss, Kaido still stayed calm and compromised as he ordered Okou to put Sui's mother at the empty bed inside a room and lay her there
Followed by that as everyone kept there business as usual, for some reason Ingrid was glaring at Kaido as she looked at his lips which has been stolen by some unknown woman they never met before
"So Kaido how was it? Did you like it? Did you somehow still think about that kiss?" Asks Ingrid with a tone so murderous as if a wife have caught her husband cheating
In return Kaido replied with a cold stare as he said
"Like it? Enjoy it? Stop joking around!... . . A person who somehow a relative to someone I know is neither an asset nor a liability can only be a restraint on me"
Hearing that Ingrid suddenly backed away as she was shocked by Kaido's sudden grim tone
"Asset and liability... . . That's how you see everyone right?" Asked Ingrid as she felt disheartened

"The Queen? Is that the reason why she's absent at the empire? It's all because of her own army exploration?" Asked Kaido as he turned his gaze towards Lily
At that Lily silently nodded in agreement and said
"Don't worry Kaido! Mother is not like father at all, she will definitely help you in your case, in fact she is also smarter than the Duke and father combined, I can assure you she is dependable" assured Lily
At that thought Kaido grinned as he muttered
"Looks like i got another asset"
At that Kaido thought about the situation for a moment before giving out his order
"Zia, Okou, Pablo! Your going to stay here and guard Sui and her mother, I advise that you rent a house nearby to avoid being found out by spies and loot hunters"
"Understood" they replied
"As for the others... . . You'll come with me towards the Queen's army" he added
"At your command" replied Melfina while the others simply nodded
Soon he turned his gaze towards Sui who seemed to doesn't want to separate with him
