Chapter 172: Assault Against The Beastman Hero II

[Grand kingdom, Hero's Bedroom]

At first ingrid was quite surprised to see a person she didn't expect to appear, to actually appear right infront of her, but not a moments later and thinking  about the possibility thoroughly, she suddenly came up with the only probable conclusion

If ever Melfina was here, then that could only mean that the person that she expect the most was also here

While still under the effect of the aphrodisiac, Ingrid slowly scanned her surroundings but couldn't see where Kaido is, in fact it is still a great mystery for her on how Melfina herself managed to enter the room without creating an opening

Nonetheless she immediately pulled Selery close to her embrace as she carefully scanned her surroundings

At the same time Melfina seemed to have guessed what's was going on inside her head, so to alleviate  her worry, she in turn calmly said while keeping an eye on the Beastman hero Alduin

"He's not here... . . Yet, there's something he needs to do and only he can do it" muttered Melfina

Hearing this ingrid firmly nodded as she tried to snap herself out of this kind of addictive feeling, while also helping Selery who seemed to be trying to stop the urge of her womanly desire that was probed by the aphrodisiac

Similarly Alduin was quite at a predicament on just how an assassin managed to get inside the room without any prior notice nor any damage to his surroundings

Soon as he observed the opponent infront of him, he later realized that the opponent was the elf that he saw back at the Human Encampment, but what made him even more interested was this particular elf has an affinity for different magic than nature magic, it was somehow quite apparent as he saw a grayish aura seeping put from her body

Analyzing everything that happened, he soon found out that when he also at the same time as she attacked, he somehow saw the attacker having half of her body submerge inside the shadow in the corner of the room, meaning that the elf infront of him has an affinity for shadow magic

"Interesting! I never thought  that I would encounter an elf of your caliber, and whats more! Your a woman yourself! A truly fitting to be on my side" stated Alduin loudly as he expect that somehow some of the guards or xyrus who was quite an observant to atleast notice his predicament

As if realizing his attention Melfina  also stated

"I only have one master and I'm pretty sure It won't be you, as for your guards... .  Well I'm pretty sure that they have a lot larger problem to solve" replied Melfina as she brought out a grin which is quite similar to a particular master of her's

The moment she mentioned that however Alduin somehow realized that the sky outside was much more dimmer that before even though it was just still early in the afternoon

Soon shouts from soldiers orders, and rapid footsteps can be heard rushing outside

Confused on what was happening Alduin glared back at the elf as he asked

"What did you do?"

But in return melfina answered

"No the more appropriate question is, why did you provoke him?"

At that instant Alduin caught the term him and started to rummage in his memory on whom has he act provoke, until one particular man in his memory actually dared to glare at him as if he doesn't  care whether the whole world would target him for his behavior

As if realizing the answer he begun to laugh hysterically infront of them

"Ahahahahaha! I see... . .that's means that the woman behind you belongs to him... . ."

Feeling that something was quite wrong Melfina immediately covered both Ingrid and Selery behind her

"I see now, in order to acquire everything of her was to just kill the person she cared about, why haven't I thought of that? The answer was so simple and right infront of my eyes all along, I should've done this a long time ago" he grumbled as he returned a glare at the elf

"Over my dead body" growled Melfina as she took out as short sword on her right while wielding a dagger on her left

"So be it!"

With that Alduin efficiently maneuvered the spear in his hand as he covered it with his own wild mana, causing ripples to appear around the weapon

After that spins his spear around him To remove all of the obstacles in his range

At the same time Melfina  casted a spell to get rid of all the aphrodisiac gas inside the room to make both of Ingrid's  and Selery's recovery much more faster

With a step Alduin charged inside Melfina's range and slam the spear with his left arm towards the ground, catching the elf in her off guard, following that he slid forward to the right as he lets go of the spear on his left and transferred it to his right  to continue the onslaught

After sucking out all of the aphrodisiac gas, she quickly spreads both of her arm as she arc her back backwards to dodge the pruor attack

Following that she gently leapt out of her position  and did a barrel roll to further distance herself from the hero's  range

Upon seeing the spear being thrusted forward, she quickly lifted both of her feet and stomp down the spear so hard that it will unable the hero to actually retrieve it from the ground, at that time she instinctually thrusted her short sword  forward, which in turn was easily doxged by the hero by a hair's thread

Using taijutsu from his training in his previous world, Alduin brought up an uppercut from below the elf, which in the end was blocked by her palm, unfortunately  his strength  far surpasses her so with just a few force being applied his  punch successfully broke through as it directly struck Melfina's stomach

"Guhah!"

Connecting his attacks, he lifted her body up and attacked her with one-two-punch combo before giving her a spin kick which brought her down to the ground face first

Immediately pulling the spear off the ground, he intended to finish the elf quickly before transversing to a new opponent, but just as he was about to approach her Ingrid got out from her daze and pulled the sword that was on display on the wall and attacked Alduin

Not expecting this kind of development, Alduin  was quite baffled that he also didn't realize that Selery  was now furious  for what he did by touching her and immediately  casted a water spell

"Aqua blast!"

Like a torrent of water, Alduin  was suddenly flung to the wall by this attack only to find out that as he was recovering Ingrid has made her way next to him by a few pace and hacks down her sword

Luckily he far surpassed the boundaries  of a normal human  so in the end his reflexes has saved him as he blocks the attack and pushed Ingrid away

This time however  Melfina quickly got up from her feet and charged towards Alduin

Seeing this the hero actually stepped forward as he made a huge attack on his perimeter quickly destroying within his range

As if expecting this Melfina  made a huge jump forward  into a summersault  and landed behind him, with a slideunder him she struck his ankles in between with her shortsword and threw the dagger afterwards before pushing herself off the ground

Aching  in pain he again tilted his head to dodge the dagger, and quickly enclosed the gap between him and the elf by a mere step

Within a single breath before Melfina landed, Alduin made a quick attack by thrusting his spear 20 times in a single breath aiming at her landing spot

Seeing this Melfina enforced her hand to a higher degree and used most of her strength to launch herself off the ground again with only her right hand to support her body weight

Due to that only her right hand was struck by the attack causing it to bleed out from the injuries

"Dont let him take a break" shouted Ingrid reminding everyone to pour their attack against him

"Don't  underestimate a woman" shouted Selery after being humiliated and touched by another man besides her deceased husband

"Shadow Clonning!" Casted Melfina  as another two clones of her suddenly sprung up from her shadow and charged at the beastman hero

With a sword attacl from his left, a magic attack from his right, and an clone assault in his front, Alduin gently whispered as he brought the fight to another notch

"Ancestral trait: Lone wolf"

Using all of his senses to a higher degree but fully implementing his unique trait as a wolf beastman, his senses such as hearing, smelling, strength, speed, agility, flexibility, has far gone surpasses any species that ever lived including the high senses of a demon

Gritting his teeth, Alduin hardly swung his spear blowing everything in his radius away and crashing them on the magic hardened walls

This in turn turned the girls once advantageous position to a complete reverse as the hero now far surpassez everyone

Without a thought Alduin  empowered his spear fully  integrating his man unto it and swung it towards them in full force

With a silent explosion Alduin  actually brought the three of them to their knees

Unfortunately Melfina  has no plan to give up, so by pushing her body off the ground she launched herself towards Alduin as she casted different combat techniques towards him

"Assassinate!, focal point!, critical strike!, quick assault!"

In return to this Alduin eagerly confronted Melfina turning the whole room into a disheveled state as two entities fought agaisnt each other on a tight space

As the fight goes on, not later than sooner after the engaging of attacks, Melfina  was suddenly struck down against the wall followed by the spear stabbing her through her shoulders causing blood to spill out

"Argh!"

"Give up already! Your fighting capabilities are too good to be just wasted away, join me and I'll show you what benefit it is to join a hero side by side" offered Alduin

In reply to that as she gritted her teeth and with a stare that could kill

"I already told you, I have a master already! I'd rather die than betraying him"

"Then die for his cause" he bellowed

"Better living than without it" she mumbled

Just as he was about to struck her, Alduin suddenly felt the fluctuations  of mana by a huge degree that reminds him of a speel that requires such mana

"Took you long enough" muttered Melfina  as she smilwd broadly

Far from their location, just right outside of the kingdom's  walls, Anna drunk again in a single gulp her 10 mana potion as she continues to cast her spell

Behind her however the three people Zia, Sui, and Sarah  were having a hard time just admiring the spell that accumulated right above Anna

Using the knowledge provided by Kaido  regarding about the change in basic elements through processing of different chemicals during their free time

She in turn started to experiment on spells due to that, in the end she managed to unlock one historical spell that she herself didn't even expected

Just like what Kaido has said, even the simple fire element can grow stronger once you tweaked its chemical composition, with that in mind followed from the elements given by Kaido in the past, she started to insert and mix three different element to create a fire spell much stronger than what it regularly is, with the combination of methanol, copper sulfate, and hydrochloric acid she in turn has managed to create a flame much intense than a regular one which in turn colored in blue hue

Just like what she unlocked she begun to prepare the spell after accumulating about 90% of the mana in the surroundings

Well for a thought she also knew that since this world has abundance of mana, the little amount that she took from this place will soon replenish

Without further ado she casted

"World Class Magic! Azure Mas Fuerte!"

With a size of a asteroid sized blue fire blaze, the spell succesfully Passes through non world class defenses and struck the multilayered magic room of the hero

With a boom and a huge uprising explosion that shook the ground and decimated the top of the castle, the whole world suddenly was engulfed by the intense heat of blue fire that ignited the spark of another world class magic being casted
