Chapter 178: Unwelcomed Guest

~3 minutes earlier before the nuclear plasma explosion~

Holding down the perimeter quite far from the huge crater wasnt easy especially for both Anna and Ingrid who were already busy holding down the high mage Xyrus

Due to the difference in experience and mana output, Ingrid was only able to hold him down with the help of Anna who also possesses a high mana output

Thanks to her she was able to contend against a high mage for a long time

With a step Ingrid places her sword horizontally equal to her eye level as she charged inside Xyrus range of attack

Provided with the cover fire from Anna, she was able to dodge literally the few remaining spells

Going in a zigzag footwork, she quickly launches herself off the ground by stepping unto a wall near her as she thrusted her sword towards Xyrus

Seeing that the High mage himself quickly projected a simple barrier beside his face while tolting his head at the same time

Gathering mana unto his hand he started speed casting a complicated spell

"Dual magic!!! Fire and ice!"

As both the burning flame and freezing ice erupted around Xyrus, Ingrid immediately pulled her attack as Anna provided her with a stepping stone to quicklu take a distance between them

After that Anna raises her staff as she pounded it against the floor for four times before a mid size magic circle appeared beneath her

"Quadra casting! Full body armament! High speed boost! Strength endurance! Enhanced instincts!!!"

As Anna applied all of this unto Ingrid, she had already begun preparing another spell

"Dual casting! Thunder clap! Power strike!"

By attacking him from above and multiplied its damage using her second spell, she was able to disperse Xyrus previous spell while also damaging him at the same time

Taking this as a chance Ingrid quickly made her move as she appeared above Xyrus and brought down her attack by attacking him 30 times in one breath

Unfortunately Xyrus was well prepared for this as he blocked all of her attack by erecting a high class barrier beforehand

Crouching down Ingrid dodged Xyrus counter right after he blocked her, with the difference in altitude, she used this chance to slash his shoulder, completely giving him a huge cut

"Gaahhh! You damn bitch!"

Quickly Xyrus applied a healing magic on his cut, when suddenly Ingrid stepped forward and stabbed his other shoulder

Twisting her blade Xyrus immediately yelled in pain and agony as he grittex his teeth and tried to retaliate by casting a point blank range spell

Luckily Ingrid through his intentions by peeking into his thoughts using jer unique ability and with this she safely avoided being struck by the spell

After that she swipes her sword sideways to get rid of the blood on her sword

As Xyrus was getting more furious than before, while both anna and Ingrid are also preparing to launch another attack, a sudden earth shaking explosion suddenly rung out right at the middle of the crater as the blast range quickly envelopes more than the size of the crater itself

Following this the shockwaves hits them so hard that it literally blew from small to big architecture away while also blowing away the people near its blast radius

Thankfully the kingdom has its own safety mechanism installed that actually suppresses the blast range of the explosion, thus ending it by merely swallowing half of the kingdom's capital

After the destructive shockwave and explosion, it was further followed by the sudden rising of thick smoke toqards the sky above forming a mushroom shaped smoke

With the help of the kingdom's safety mechanism agaisnt such destructive attacks, it actually didnt take long before the giant smoke was cleared out and only showing a melting hot magma at the middle while surrounded by hot burning charcoal at the end of its radius

Separated by about 20 meters away from each other just right outside the magma pool, three silhouttes can be seen badly hurt

Upon seeing Alduin's state of having half of his body being burned to charcoal, Xyrus immediately went into rage as he expressed his whole magic power that created a violent gust of wind

"Get out of my way" he growled

"What are you... . ." Stuttered Ingrid

"I said get out of my way!!!"

As Xyrus stressed his words bit by bit a huge torrent of mana suddenly gushed out of his body that actually pushed both Anna and Ingrid by a mere pressure

As they were stressing on jow to deal with such opponent, Melfina suddenlu shouted not far from them that causes them to get to her aid immediately

"Kaido-sama!!!"

Upon seeing Kaido's state, he wasn't faring well than the other tiw silhouettes

He was actually bleeding from the inside due to side effects of pushing his ability to his limits

Due to him handling such dangerous element, it wasnt actually tolerable to his body causing him a serious backlash from his rash actions

As he cough out blood again and this time by a hige amount, he struggled just to stand on his own as he slowly made his regeneration to heal some of his burned body

"Damn it! I shouldn't have done that, but atleast I got the both of them" he mumbled

As he was being given first aid by his companions while also being comforted by his so called daughter who bravely approached him out of worry, he took this chance to see his own creative art of destruction and evaluating the condition of his two opponents

Seeing Alduin struggling to survive, while being constantly fed by regeneration potion and healed by healing mages, the Ghoul Queen however wasn't faring as well as them too

Taking the almost least damage among the three of them, she inteads exhausted her armor as it slowly crumbled to pieces while her left arm turned out to be unusable due to her concentrating all the damage towards her arm by using a spellnin a jick of time

But looking closely her arm was as thin as a long dead corpse as she also suffered from internal bleeding

"Although I can't reciprocate the harmful radioactive, I was testing able to copy the same explosion of the nuke... . . Well this was only a prototype and it isn't complete so in the end its still my win ahaha... . . Ahaha... . . *cough *cough *cough"

As kaido was also was being handled by his companions Alduin pulled Xyrus sleeves as he groan in pain from having jalf of his body being burned painfully

"Graahhh! It hurts! Its hurts!"

"There! There! Were patching you up so shut your mouth first"

After a few seconds tickling by his pained expression finally vanishes but he was instead scarred for life as his half one fourth of his burn on his stomach side didn't heal at all despite many efforts of recuperating it

This in turn made him even angrier towards kaido even the more so

As for Hepta she actually didnt need any assistance because she knows that she can be healed by Larval with a snap, however she instead drained her mana just to defend her whole body and sacrificing one part of her

As she sigh in relief of her fortunate circumstances compared to the other two, she slowly slump down unto the the ground when suddenly a huge amount of mana enveloped the whole kingdom at an imaginable state

As the pressure poured down on all of them, they all suddenly came to a halt as they slowly and shakily looked above them

When they did all of their pupils constricted into a horrified expression as a figure slowly descended unto the molting magma

With flap from its white wings, the whole pool of magma suddenly turned into a solid ground in an instant thus raising all of their instincts to the highest degree of cautiousness

As for kaido he clearly remembered that face as it depicted hibiki who have white wings growing on his back as if he was some kind of divine angelic being

As Raguel landed unto the solidified magma, he slowly scanned his surroundings and saw people with familiar faces

"Oh my! I didn't expect that you guys were actually on this country... . .what a small world it is" he smirked while squinting his eyes towards kaido

"Yeah! Too small for the both of us" replied Kaido

"Us? You must be mistaken, there is no us only I alone am enough for this world"

This time Kaido slowly stood up while having Ingrid support him on one side

"Wanna bet on that? I could prove that your wrong by pulling your wing off and sticking it to your ass birdie" he roared

"There is no need to prove yourself since it is a fact that no one can change, in fact im much more stronger than the last time we've fought meaning your an ant to me now... . .so bow down to me mortal"

"No one can hold unto the top for a very long time birdie, there will always be people that is stronger than you"

"Interesting... . . So where is this people your mentioning?"

At that Kaido suddenly smirked as he mumbled

"Right infront of you"

Like a crazed fighter Kaido directlu launches himself towards Raguel as he enveloped himself with lightning clad and uses it to shorten their distance against each other

With a flick of his hand he again constructed another nuclear plasma as he eagerly attacked the celestial person right to the face

But as if it was expected Raguel's wings suddenly moved on their own as it pierces through his stomach causing Kaido to spits out a mouthful of blood while holding out the nuclear plasma

Seeing a strange element which doesn't exist in this world for the first time, Raguel slowly pulled out the nuclear plasma from Kaido's grasp and slowly threw the person back to where he came from

With immediate action and worry everyone quickly treated his injuries which wouldn't be able to regenerate cause of the holy unknown element preventing his regeneration ability

"Kaido-sama!!!"

"Kaido!!!"

"Papa!!!"

As they spoke up their worry Kaido suddenly notices Cara was actually among them as she instructed them what to do

"You were... . . Here?" He asked weakly

"Always have been doofus, I'm just an expert of blending in" she excused herself

"Wow"

Put of worry Ingrid pulled Kaido's attention towards herswlf as she said

"Focus! Look at me, your not going to die okay? Just hold on" she said in worry as tears suddenly poured out of her eyes

"Who... . . Said I'm going to... . . Die?... . . I can still beat you... . . In a game... . .and play you around... . . like the... . . Yhe first time we met" said kaido as he gritted his teeth

"Say that if your healed idiot" she reprimanded him

From afar Sui was bawling in tears when she saw a hige hole on his stomach followed by the never ending stream of blood

"Papa!" She cried

"Im fine!" Assured kaido as he patted Sui's head with his bloodied hand

Behind her he could see Selery having a complicated expression while in a daze as if she suddenly remembered something from the past

But Kaido couldnt care less as he glanced at Raguel who was examining the nuclear plasma

"Strange indeed... . . Is this the work of a human? I say, they maybe barbarous but they sure can create something strange" praised Raguel as he clenched the nuclear plasma into nothingness as if it was a walk in the park

After that he slowly walked towards the Hepta the Ghoul Queen with the intent to kill

"As for you... . . Tell me how do you want to die?" Asked Raguel

In reply Hepta bravely sized the celestial race as she said

"Fuck off birdie" she said as she spits beside her

"I'll take that as an immediate execution " concluded Raguel

With that thought of mind he pulled out his holy sword and enveloped it with divine aura so bright that can blind someone who was not adept to it

"Then die here minions of the demon king"

As he slashed his sword down, Hepta in turn accepted her fate as she closed her eyes expecting the fatal attack, unfortunately the attack never came

When she opened her eyes, she was surprised to see Belial blocking the full brunt attack from a person with a holy aura, by only using his demonized hand that had its claws stretch out by 10 inches

"An archdemon?"

"My my! Didnt expect to see a celestial race to appear here,this is a first I must say" replied Belial as he took a firm hold on Raguel's hand without flinching at all
