Chapter 182: How It Came To Be II
[Shibuya, Yoyogi, Japan]
Throughout the process Kaido and Ayame remained as a spectator as the three of Kaido's friends tried their very best to gain attention from the girls itself
In the end their efforts were in vain as they got rejected by the girls and regarded as creeps, retard, desperate
Going through that the three of them decided to let bygones be bygones as they quickly moved on and planned their next stakeout
Seeing this Kaido couldn't help but laugh at their predicament as he tried his best to hold back his laughter
After that Kaido finally brought Ayame home as they entered a bus stop and rode it towards the residential area
Due to the time of working hours, the bus was quite jam-packed with people as they goes on their skin and shoulders are actually hitting each other
Due to Ayame's appearance of black haired reaching her shoulders, tight fit school uniform, small skirt showing her are legs and thighs, and finally followed by her fair skin, the whole passengers who were brave enough and didn't regard their morals at all, actually ogled at Ayame causing her to be discomforted inside the bus
To prevent this Kaido squeezed his body in between the salaryman behind her and Ayame, causing discomfort and series of clicked tongue from the crowd
Doing this the once already tight area has become even more tighter as Kaido moved position covering Ayame from the crowd, and from the euphoric salaryman
In turn this brought him face to face with her as their body was actually so close that they're body was actually pressing against each other causing Ayame to blush upon tight contact
"Pervert!" Muttered Ayame as she turned her head and blushed
"Hahaha! Your mine! I can't let them just get their way with you" stated Kaido as he laughed
"What are you even on about? You just made the once tight place become even more tighter" she pouted
"I did it because of you, so enjoy this tightly close contact for a moment, I can actually hear you heartbeat through your clothes and body" he smirked
"Wa! Don't say that!!! You perv!" She said in a whispering manner
"Well what I did actually eased you right? Do you feel discomfort now?" He asked
Hearing that Ayame became even more blushed as she muttered
"... . . No... . . Atleast you have putted me at ease, thanks... . ."
"Your welcome"
"As for your reward..."
As Ayame said that she lightly kissed Kaido as became all flirty with him in public
"I like that! That is actually... . . Delicious! Hahaha" laughed Kaido
"Idiot! Quiet it down! We're in public!!!" Hissed Ayame
As she said that Kaido actually petted her as she placed her head against his chest as they continued on to the travel

Next day as the first half of the day ended Naomi actually talked to him after the science surprise test ended
"So how's your test? Zero?" She teased him
"Oh please! I could surpass your score one day with my eyes closed" said Kaido as he rolled his eyes at her
"Hah! I'd like to see you try surpass me first" she said challengingly
"Hahaha! Your quite haughty just because your smart? Sure just keep doing that, everyday im learning from you as I assess your answers in every question and answer session, if this continues I would eventually overtake you in rankings" said Kaido as he puffed out his chest
"Really? Prove it!"
At that Kaido pasted his score infront of her as he proudly showed it to her
"Huh? 90 out of 100 but that's... . ." Muttered Naomi
"High right? Amazing? Splendid? Unexpected?"
"No... . . actually it's quite little compared to my 100 over 100 score" smirked Naomi
"....."
Hearing that Kaido went speechless as he can't believe the gap in scores
"Hahaha! Speechless? You've still got a lot of rice to eat before you can surpass me" she laughed aside as she left through the corridor
"Heh! Now that is a challenge" smirked Kaido
After that he went through the corridor himself and passed through different classroom as he ended up at the back of the school with a wide tracking field and a series of tennis court in the area, followed by the series of other courts for different sports
Further on there is a sturdy looking tree as Ayame actually reserved this for both of them that day
Upon seeing him from afar, Ayame immediately raised her hand up as she waved it around to catch his attention
"Kaido! Over here!"
Upon seeing this Kaido himself was quite amused as he went closer
After that she patted the place beside her as he actually heeded her request and sits beside her
As they stared at the other students, she actually came close to him to the point that she actually rested her head against his shoulder
With that Kaido asked
"Tired? Tired out by the test?" He asked
But surprisingly she shook her head in denial as she replied
"It's not that... . . I'm tired because of you" she said
"Me? Why?"
"Well you did so much embarrassing stuff yesterday that it lingered my mind, because of that I hardly wink any sleep at all" she complained
At that Kaido couldn't help but laugh
"So your saying, I made your heart skip a beat so frequently yesterday that you actually can't help but blush and relive it in your dreams? Looks like someone has a fetish" teased Kaido
"What!?! Bastard" pouted Ayame
"Well your personal bastard" replied Kaido
"Then jerk"
"Still the same"
With that she actually pinched his cheeks as she shook his face from side to side
As the day goes on, due to the refreshing atmosphere and fresh air, Kaido couldn't help but nod off as he kept himself from falling asleep from the comfort of nature itself
Seeing him resisting the urge to sleep, Ayame actually saw it as a cute moments of Kaido, helping him she pulled his head and placed it on her lap as she gave him a personal lap pillow that most boys yearned from girls with nice tights
"You like it?" She asked blushingly
Realizing what happened Kaido turned his position to the other side facing Ayame's stomach as he said
"I love it! Actually I feel that your belly button that is hiding behind this clothes quite cute" teased Kaido
Hearing that Ayame once again blushed
"Idiot! Don't look at it... . . huah!"
Out of surprise Kaido suddenly snuggled up to her as he adjusted his position causing his breath to actually tickle her belly button
For Ayame she actually wanted to scold him from snuggling up when she suddenly retracted her sentence after seeing his sleeping face
Kaido's sleeping face was so refreshing for her that she carefully carrased it with her hand
Later on she discovered that some part of his hair was actually turning white due to constant stress, due to that she muttered
"This guy actually get stressed? I thought he's just a happy go lucky guy?"
As if she discovered something new from him, she gently stroked his head as she embedded this moment into her memories

After school Ayame was somehow busy so she couldn't join Kaido in his walk home and prompted him to head home first since it will take her probably a while to finish up
Hearing that he silently nodded as he said his goodbye and indicate of seeing her next week after the weekends
Hearing that Ayame quickly went on her tiptoe and gave him a good by kiss that further smeared giggling faces on her classmates
At that she left him a she returned to her classroom together with the other girls of her class, completely leaving Kaido alone to walk home
As he did that he actually went home alone as he rode a bus and went to the residential area alone
But for some reason the moment he did that he couldn't help but be more curious as a numerous numbers of ambulance and firetrucks passes through him as if they were in a race against time
Having curiosity win him over, he dared to approach the direction of the ambulance and firetrucks only to be met not long after, a residential building actually having caught on fire as it spreads out on different apartments
Even though he had the capacity to help them out with his Esper powers, he couldn't do it at all as the society regarded the Espers as someone that is dangerous
The trait of "fearing the unknown" was so embedded on the society that it actually putted a huge burden among the Espers
After their first discovery from late nineties, scientist begun taking Espers into custody with the notion of helping them regain their normal lives back
With that numerous Espers actually dare to volunteer to be taken away, as for the others that resisted, they were apprehended of course, in actuality Kaido belonged to the latter group as he doesn't want to be caught at all and doesn't believe on the words of those crazy scientist who regarded Espers as a specimen
With that only one thing that could make Espers live in free, an that is to become strong enough to protect himself
Just as he was about to leave, he actually saw a woman coming over, with a stressed expression as she begged and cried on the arms of a firefighter
"Please! Save my family! There still inside there" she pleaded
As the others were trying to calm her down by soothing her with words, the woman actually didn't heed as she cried over
Suddenly one of the apartments actually exploded causing the woman's face to fall into despair
Seeing this Kaido couldn't help it any longer as he took off his bag and ran inside the building, for some reason he wanted to help the lady as much as possible since she reminds him of his mother
When the people gasp in surprise and tried to stop him, the flame actually grew stronger as it plunged towards him
Seeing this they immediately screamed in terror for his fate when suddenly the flames actually got dispersed away by a wave of his hand, and slowly but surely was getting sucked towards his palm
As if obeying their lord, the flames was getting sucked towards him in a high-speed that astonishes the crowd and was suddenly compressed into a ball of fire in his palm
As he crushed it completely the whole area became quiet
Not long after the woman's family came out safely from the building, seeing this Kaido was contended and expected atleast some words of praise from the woman when suddenly the woman glared at him with a scared expression on her face
What she muttered next greatly stunned her
"Monster!"
Taken aback Kaido couldn't help but feel shocked, not long after someone actually threw a can at him to his head as some people among the crowd despised Espers and we're against him
"Get out of here!!!"
"Get away from them!!!"
"Monster! Because of your kind some of my family was killed during an accident"
"The society doesn't need you!"
"You guys only know how to bring disaster!"
At that the crowd was suddenly split in to two sides as some tried to protect him while others scorned him
"Stop it! He's just a kid!"
"Didn't you see he save that family?"
"You guys are retarded!!!"
Hearing that the opposition grew Wilder
"Don't protect him!"
"Get out of our way!!!"
"His kind doesn't deserve to live among us!"
As the crowd goes wild one of the firefighter actually pulled him aside and gave him his bag as he said hurriedly
"Quick! Get out of here! We'll take care of them, you did great kid... . .it's just that many hates your kind because they lost someone they loved from your kind! I hope you understand"
Hearing that Kaido ran away as the some of the crowd and firefighters tried to stopped them from rampaging
From that day onwards, someone actually caught everything on camera as he/she spreads it's content out to the media, causing the ire and hatred of the majority in the society while few of them were actually sympathies with them
Due to that next day on weekends, he received a call from his boss from his part time was that he was being fired from work due to the issue
After apologizing to him he cuts him off
Kaido wanted to reason out with him, but the manager didn't let him at all as it disconnected him away from it
As if that wasn't worse the landlady knocked hard against his apartment as he slowly opened it up and saw the conflicted expression of his landlady
"Umm... . . Did I do something wrong?" He asked
In reply the landlady said
"Sorry child! But someone called me as they threatened me, so I have to get you to leave this place ASAP"
Hearing that Kaido was left aghast as he doesn't know what to do anymore
But before he could argue and make another deal the landlady actually brought men that dragged his stuff outside the apartment grounds and left it there while taking the key from him, completely evicting him
As the landlady said another sorry she eventually left
Overcome with grief and depression, he slump unto the ground as he doesn't know what to do anymore and slowly cried inside as he couldn't accept everything that was happening
If he'd known that this would happen, he wouldn't have saved that family at all
As he cried and bawled over it, a call came through as it indicates that it actually came from his parents and wanted to meet up with him
With a click he answered the call while crying
