Chapter 184: Facility For Espers

[Facility, White Room]

Soon not long after Aaron have finished his introduction, He immediately begun explaining to both Kaido and Haruka the little much he knows about this room

Apparently their location is still unknown as Aaron himself haven't checked out the outside yet, but one thing for sure is that everyone is here with the hope that the rumors that this particular scientist would help them alleviate from their powers

After some time inside the huge white room, the older looking scientist begun shooing away the older Espers out of the room which included Aaron, soon only the newly arrived Espers are left inside the room

From what Kaido could see the room consists of many different Espers with different set of skills in different ages, he could even see a huge body build person few meters away infront of him and also some middle aged looking person few meters to his right

Coincidentally there are also girls in different ages inside here, however their numbers are not so much compared to the boy's

Due to multitudes of unknown faces Kaido couldn't help but be overwhelmed, he's pretty much sure that atleast some of them is way over him and much more powerful than him

Just as he got overwhelmed, he suddenly felt something grabbed his clothes, when he looked over he saw Haruka feeling anxious and scared after being surrounded by many different people

Since she only just woken up its only natural that she would cling to the people that she somehow recognize first

At that for some reason for Kaido, he felt that Haruka was somehow similar to a frightened cat

Soon a scientist came in from the door and started to explain the rules and regulations inside the room

As he explained they were going to assess their Esper powers, followed by giving them appropriate lesson that will be benificial to them, then will also train their bodies of some sort to further enhances their muscles to get accustomed to their own powers

When one of of the Espers asked about how it will remove their powers, they answered is that they needed the Espers have fully control of their powers, if they did the removal process would be easier by that time, thus alleviating the risk of dying from prematurely power removal

If this was to get themselves have full control of their powers then it wasn't an exaggeration that they needed this in order to raise the survivability rate of the people during the removal process

Thinking about this Kaido really begun to hope that everything that they have said was true since this will greatly affect everyone

Then after that numerous scientist and guards in blue uniform entered the room and begun assessing their powers one by one

Not long after everyone has gone through the assessment thus calming themselves down a bit

Again after her assessment Haruka quickly begun looking around anxiously for the silhoutte of Kaido as if she was a lost child even though they were the same of age

After giving off his location by waving his hand in the air, Haruka immediately took notice of this and used this to get to his location quickly

With that the guards finally let them pass through the door and enter a long corridor leading to the opposite door at the end of it

After few explanation and rules binding, they slowly opened the huge iron door and let the newly batched Espers enter the room

Inside the room there were already some multiple Espers inside as they all stared at the newly arrived Espers

With a slight push the newly arrived ones finally entered the huge precipice of the facility as they got a warm welcome from the surrounding Espers

Soon they begun to disperse and went their way causing a huge rush in the crowd, I'm order not to get caught in the tide Haruka took a tight hold unto Kaido and as the latter firmly gripped her arm to anchor her through

As they pushed themselves away from the crowd, they were immediately welcomed by a huge surprise as Aaron approached them

"Welcome to the Paradise!!!"

"Paradise?" Asked Kaido

"Exactly! Paradise... . . We Espers that have been here for the longest called this place the paradise" said Aaron

This time Haruka finally talked as she felt comfortable for seeing a familiar face again after a few hours

"Why do they call it paradise?"

Hearing this Aaron quickly puffed out his chest in an attempt to show off his knowledge and try to woo her in

"We call this paradise for particular reasons, first this is a land only meant for Espers every buildings here are the same like the city but only smaller in size comparison, here we lived our life as if a normal person, away from discrimination, secondly as we live here we train our ability by hoping to schools and as we train we get a better hold of our ability, third after you get a better hold of control over your ability, they will begun to assess you as worthy for the next phase thus by this time you will have to leave this place behind and get to go to other facilities"

As he said that he begun to remind them once more

"But let me remind you that the time her is five times much faster than the outside meaning 5 months here is equal to 1 month outside, so I advise you to buy a separate watch, one for the time outside and the time inside here or else you'll go crazy when you lost track of time"

As Aaron said that both Kaido and Haruka decided to buy atleast two different clocks from that day onwards, both of them knew just how much depression one would feel if he lost track of time

But soon after Kaido remembered one factor that bothered him "money"

"What about the money to buy the clock or watch?" He asked

"Ah about that... . . Everything here is free, that's why it's a paradise not only for the Espers but also for the poor" he answered with a smile

With that both of them were dumbstruck from the revelation

When Aaron looked through them he also found out that Haruka was somehow still on hold of Kaido's white shirt, so in order to get his move on and attract Haruka herself, he himself split them away from each other as he comforted the both of them by placing his arms around their neck

At first Haruka was startled but since she recognized the person she instead started to calm down

This time Aaron suggested to have themselves nicknamed Haruka since her name was somewhat long

After pondering about that Aaron finally came to a conclusion as he suggested calling her Haru

With no objections Haruka was now nicknamed Haru

After walking through all they way inside the small City, Aaron led them straight to the huge domed cafeteria to atleast serve their grumbling belly

With that when they entered the facility, both Haruka and Kaido were stunned by the magnitude of the crowd inside and the size inside the dome

It took them atleast some time just to get their lunch served because of the numbers, but when they did they themselves immediately scourged for a sit thus bringing them to the edge of the doom to a table for four

To further attract Haruka Aaron decided to sit beside her leaving Kaido alone on his side

Seeing this Aaron gave away his intention of making Haruka fell for him, this instant Kaido gladly cheered him on and happily offered to be the wingman

After receiving a positive response, a friendship suddenly bloomed between them as they finally considered themselves true friends

This in turn confused Haruka a lot, so in order to push aside that particular topic Aaron asked for their particular abilities

Firstly he introduced his powers which is to manipulate light itself to become his weapon

To further explain to them, he himself conjured a bright light spear on his hand after much concentration

Seeing this both Kaido and Haruka were in awe

Next Haruka told them that her ability is to be able to talk to them telepathically, then she demonstrated her ability by suddenly talking inside their heads

Of course to show his great affection at the same time show off, Aaron highly praised her and even showed his highly supporting side to make her blush of embarrasment due to the sudden praise

Seeing this Aaron signaled to Kaido as he said

"Charm point +1"

At that Kaido could only laugh at the side, as he had myself begun introducing his powers that even made the scientist and the guard to back away from him for a second

"My powers is to control matter and element as long as I have basic knowledge of them, the only deficiency I have is that as long as I don't understand them, I won't be able to control them at all"

After that he explained it to them by giving off an example

"For example if I have basic knowledge about oxygen, I can easily take off the oxygen around yourselves and let you gasp for non-existent air that will possible poison you and killing you without any knowledge of how you died"

As he gave his example both Aaron and Haruka gave off a complicated facial expressions as they understood why the scientist and guards started backing away from him

"Hahaha! No wonder!" Laughed Aaron

"Don't worry Kaido-kun, im pretty sure that your not a dangerous person, pretty sure someone out there will care for you despite your high level of dangerousness" encouraged Haruka

"I'm not fully assured of your sentence since even you yourself seemed to be shaken" replied Kaido

Noticing that Haruka begun to brave up herself as she clapped and held his hands on between her palms, which causes a loud sound to relapse on the room as she said

"I assure you" she said with an assured look

Since everyone was busy not one of them paid any heed to the commotion of trio from a corner of the dome

And as Aaron saw Haruka took hold of Kaido's hand to assure that he was not alone, he again got in between as he said

"Well I'm pretty sure Kaido isn't worried about that since he's good looking right?" Asked Aaron

Hearing that Kaido replied

"Yeah! After all I still got an Ex-girlfriend that is waiting for me to propose to her again outside"

Hearing that both Aaron and Haruka was left dumbfounded this time as they didn't expect that Kaido would brag about his love life just like that

After a while the light inside the facility begin to dimmed as it indicates that it was already beginning to darken as the time for sleep was approaching

With that Aaron led both of Kaido and Haruka to their rooms

Firstly since they were already considered friends Aaron personally chose Haruka's room beside his room and sandwich in between Kaido's room next to Haruka's

After that he begun to flirt with her as he brag about his past and masculinity, before urging them to go inside the room

As they entered, Kaido finally have an alone time for himself as his room only consist of bed on his right, and a desk and chair on his left

If he want some things over he will need to get them from the city himself

As soon as he lay down in bed and started to close his eyes, he suddenly got an interception of communication from his brain which indicates that Haruka just connected her thoughts to Kaido

"Hey are you awake?" She asked

"Well I am now" replied Kaido

"So what it's like to love someone?" Asks Haruka

After pondering about it Kaido said

"It's amazing to let go of your pent up feelings"

"I see"

"How about you? Pretty sure that your not dense yourself and noticed Aaron's advances on you, I can even feel the earth trembling as he gets excited just by remembering you like a freaking girl in love" said Kaido

With that Haruka seemed to be flustered

"Wawawa... . . I would like to take things slow... . . I don't have plans for accepting his feelings since we just met" she said

"Ah I see... . . Your that type of person"

When he said that he suddenly hear a hmph sound in his mind as Haruka once again spoke up

"Well... . . Sort of"

This time Kaido asked

"So why are you clingy to me earlier?"

As he asked this Haruka said

"I was clingy since I felt that somehow you were a reliable person, and I can see that my judgement was not wrong... . . Well anyway I'm sleepy so I'll cut this off, bye bye!"

As she cuts off her connection, Kaido once again was enveloped with silence as he curled up to the side and muttered

"Whatever it takes"
