Chapter 190: Mixed Feelings

Stunned, that is what everyone that ever known Kaido was feeling right now, they can't even believe that someone actually said that to them
("He supposedly shouldn't exist in this world, he's an anomaly, an outer, he's a person from another world")
As those words ring out inside their ears, all of them became bitter, angrier, and most of all humiliated for someone to actually say that
It was like saying that everything that they have done up until now was a mistake
"Oi!!! What did you say?" Growled Melfina as she took a hold of her dagger and was ready to charged in
"Hmm? What?" Shrugged Horus as he acted ignorant
Seeing that he was looking down on them, Melfina immediately snapped as she pulled out her dagger and dashed forward
"You bastard!!! How dare you say that about Kaido-sama!!!" She roared
When she charged in however she was immediately suppressed as both Zia and Sarah intercepted her and stopped her tracks by holding them down
"Melfina!!! Calm down! Your unmatched for him!" Called out Zia
"No onee-chan! He... . . He just downright degraded Kaido-sama!" Retorted Melfina
"Idiot! He's clearly way above us! Use your brain for once!" Complained Sarah
But as both Zia and Sarah tried to stop her, Melfina was still adamant about killing Horus
Unexpectedly Ingrid stranded beside Sui as she tapped unto her shoulder, this in turn jolted her back to reality as she herself got lost in thought when she heard that
After calming herself for a while she nodded her head at Ingrid as she further asked Horus
"Um, mister, sir!!! I just want to know... . . How can you say those words? Do you have any anger or grudge on Papa?"
Hearing that Horus ears suddenly perked up as he sighed dejectedly upon seeing the resolute gaze on the small girls eyes
After hesitating for a bit he gave in and continued to what he said prior to it
"Nope! None! I have no such grudge" replied Horus
After hearing that everyone once again focused their attention on him
"Then how can you say those words?"
This time it was Ingrid's turn to ask
When Horus saw that, his brows however started to twitch as he tried to assure something
"He haven't told you anything did he?"
Seemingly confused of that question, everyone started to look at him in a curious manner
"What do you mean? Are you suggesting that he was hiding something from us?" Asked Ingrid
"Foolish Kaido-sama Trusted us! How can you say that he was holding back an information about us?" Roared Melfina
"What do you mean?" Asked Sui
Hearing those questions, Horus couldn't even believe that Kaido haven't told them anything yet even though he already stayed for so long with them
After realizing that he cornered himself by this situation, he instead decided to answer them honestly
"Don't mistake my words, he wasn't supposed to exist in this world at all" he said

Hearing those words even the Queen herself were curious as she thought about it aloud
"This world? Don't tell me... . . "
After hearing the Queen's words, Horus agreeingly nodded his head
"Yes Kaido isn't from this world, in fact he wasn't supposed to be summoned in this world, the summoning of the goddes was supposed to summon normal people without any sort of abilities whatsoever and yet due to a God's persistence he was chosen to be summoned here" he stated
Hearing that Kaido was from another world, all of them became dead silent for a moment
Slowly but surely everything that he said started to connect themselves to the current situation of Kaido
"You mean... . . Papa is an otherworlder like the Hero's? But he's not like them at all!!! If he's summoned by the gods why is he isn't a hero?" Asked Sui as she started to ask the important questions
"As I said he's an anomaly that caught the God's attention, in fact even before he got reincarnated into his same body here, he in turn has already powers to begin with" said Horus calmly
This time Elijah caught unto something as he asked
"Reincarnated? Like me?"
"Huh? If he's reincarnated then does that mean... . ." Pondered Ingrid
To confirm her suspicions Horus once again answered her
"Yes just like what you speculated, if he were in a normal condition then he will get summoned, but the problem was that his situation was opposite of the condition which made him get reincarnated instead" said Horus

"The person you knew as Kaido or Riruko, Kaido has died in his original world, or better yet he was killed"
When everyone heard that, they were once again stunned from that revelation, they can't even imagine the scene where someone as strong as Kaido was killed by someone
Just by imagining the thought of Kaido being killed, sent shivers down their spine, even Sui herself was staggering from the revelation if not for Ingrid supporting her from behind
In truth even Ingrid herself couldn't believe that someone actually has successfully killed Kaido in his old world
The first one who tried to deny that fact was Melfina as she can't stand the fact that her seemingly invincible master got killed in the other world
"How... . . How did he die?" She asked
Just like her everyone wanted to know the reason of his death, even Elijah wanted a reason too
"How? Simply someone shot him through his head while his guard was down" answered Horus
With that answer, they even couldn't comprehend the reason for that to happen
In fact at the exact time they started to imagine the scene where he got killed by being shot in the head
For quite sometime Melfina gritted her teeth as she couldn't accept it but later on sigh dejectedly
"Atleast master died as a honorable warrior in that other world"
The moment she said that, everyone again silently nodded in agreement, but in the end this got shot down by Horus next words
"Honorable warrior's death? Nonono... . . His death isn't something that grand for a reason, in fact I can say that the reason for his death was quite a horror if you only knew"
At that everyone once again focused on him
"Horror? Did you mean Papa died in a horrored reason?" Asked Sui
After looking at her Horus calmly asked her
"Missy! Are you sure you wanted to see how he died and the reason why he fought to death in the otherworld?"
After hesitating for a bit Sui resolved her will as she nodded at him, followingly others also nodded as they gave him a resolute gaze that tells him that they want to know the reason why he fought to death
When faced with a predicament, Horus sigh dejectedly as he gave in and started to chant fro a bit
Not soon after a huge white ripple I'm space expanded infront of them which will serve as the place where everything will be shown
Lastly he advised them
"If you don't want to miss anything, then don't lose focus"
At that using the power that he learned from reading ancient scriptures with the support of a certain magic from the Akashic Records, Horus displayed the reason why he fought
With that the ripple showed the expecting crowd the reason for his death, firstly it depicted from the very first day he was brought in as an experiment then they went through serious forward clip where he was forced to study everything and was taught combat
At first everyone thought that seeing the kind and warm atmosphere of Kaido back in the days, was rather something new that attracted them for quite a bit
Somehow they deducted that maybe if he didn't changed in attitude, he might have been regarded as a hero form his warm atmosphere
As they thought of that the scene flashed forward and showed the very first time Kaido killed someone by his own two hands, he was smeared in blood as he felt despair for the very first time
At this scene everyone gulped from seeing h so beat up and covered in blood, not long after that he held a dead body of a woman as he cried a lot and caused a series of death in his surroundings
Seeing this everyone was shocked at after seeing for the first time that Kaido was actually crying over someone
What's more they were even more shocked, angered, and horrified by the following scene where it time skipped for a bit and showed how Kaido was again experimented, forced knowledge intake, body improvement through surgery, drugged, locked up, tortured, and kill someone again
At that even Melfina gripped his weapon so hard as she couldn't help but be angry whenever she saw that people were torturing the person she looked up to
Even the Queen herself and her son gasped in surprise from seeing such horrible scene, not to mention the other elves who only knew a warrior's death
Of course the ever peace loving creatures of the forest was scared to bits when they saw just how much crueler can a human species go that even they experimented their own kind
As for Sarah and Zia both of them wore grim and shocked expression, and for Ingrid she started to deny what she was being at how much struggle that Kaido underwent through all those times
She almost even cried as her heart broke when he saw Kaido puke a lot amount of blood from the recoil of the experiment, she gasped when she saw him being locked up in a room without any light at all, she was horrified when she saw him getting drugged and going through surgery especially when they messed with his brain, she was scared when she saw him being tortured, and she was angry when she saw him begging the people who treated him bad to stop as he crawled and begged to let him go home
All in all her emotions and feelings were jumbled and mixed up from the different scenes she saw
As for sui she held strong as tears started to pile up as if she felt Kaido's suffering from the past she's seeing, she even tried to reach out her hand to him when she saw the scene where Kaido tried to crawl and reached out his hand expecting someone to save him
'Please I... . . I can't do this anymore, save me, help me, someone, anyone, I... . . I just want to go home'
When they heard that as if some kind of reaction from the deep sense of impression and emotions being laid out, all of them including the people that didn't knew him, tried to reach out to him with the expectation that maybe somehow they could change everything
For sure however everyone really teared up upon seeing his suffering from the hands of the very same people he trusted
Not long after his behavior started to twist from those repeated scenes,until he finally broke, this in turn explained why Kaido's current attitude at some times were manifesting
For a moment everyone seemed wanted to charged in there and beat the hell out of the people that were doing this
Not long after that when he broke out, he started his mass massacre all over, as he became berserk and kill people left and right
But what greatly surprised them was that when Kaido showed a slight hesitation, the enemy actually took that moment to shot him in the head while his guard was down
With that as the ending he fell down and died miserably
Throughout the show everyone's feelings and emotions were mixed up as they don't even know what to say him anymore when they met and talk properly again
Lastly before he left Horus told them one fact that they didn't knew
"If it wasn't for the Goddess herself, Kaido would've have been dead by now, his power which manifested from science which is called psychic ability is contradicting this world's law of magic... . . His powers were rejecting the magic of this world since both laws of nature are different, if it wasn't for the Goddess herself, both magic and his power's could kill him the moment he took a step into this world... . . That's why I said that he wants supposed to exist in this world, and as for why he looked the same as the Missy's father is maybe because he is the parallel version of him" said Horus
After saying everything he needed, Horus in turn abided his farewell as he left at the same manner he appeared
This in turn left everyone in quite a predicament as their feelings were mixed between different emotions
Soon when they replayed everything in their mind, Sui herself begun to cry as she felt the sorrow from those scenes she saw
From the looks of it Kaido was the one who has taken a lot of depression among all of them
Some had undergone depression from their family, home, treatment, discrimination, abuse but even if everything they experience were pile up, it would still not amounted enough to surpass the amount of suffering and depression that Kaido underwent
With their minds in distraught they begun to head back to the castle With such a complicated feeling
As for the elves they once again shuddered from the fact as they imagined that if such humans were really capable of doing such deeds in this world
One thing for sure they agreed on one phrase that rung out of their head when they remembered all those scenes
("The world isn't kind at all, The world crueler that than you think it is")
