Chapter 233: Fourth Child of Calamity III

[Demon Continent]

Rising up from the black pool, Kaido somehow realizes a new pair of clothes was prepared for him just at the end of the pool

As he got out of the pool and took it, he was surprised to see that such clothes somehow closely resembles some of the clothes back in his old world

Nevertheless he took in those clothes and tried them out

By then Kaido was now wearing a black jacket, black shirt, black pants, black rubber shoes, and a black glove, coupling this with his black aura and getup, Kaido now really looks the part

After that he proceeded to head upstairs leading to the exit as he walked slowly in the middle of the darkness

Soon as he got out from that dark place, he was greeted by the sight of a huge wasteland as it spread out far and wide more than the eye can see

"Yo! And here I thought that we were going to kill you... pity!.. well anyway congrats for successfully becoming one of us" said Aileene

Hearing those words, Kaido somehow slowly turned his head only to see Aileene on top of the holes entrance waiting for him

Alongside her were Fenrir and Argos with a look of know it all and as if they've known that Kaido will be successfully converted

"Long time no see, I guess" said Fengris

"I'm glad you survived that" added Argos

Observing them Kaido seemed rather curious on the injuries they have on their bodies

"Your body... . . It's damaged even your clothes, don't you guys have any spare clothes at all? That would be helpful" said Kaido as he brazenly talked back at the three beings that once overpowered him

"Kekeke! You really have been converted, your words alone, I know for sure that you've grown even more arrogant right? How does it feel? The power that is..." Asks Fengris as he swung around a boulder

"The clothes first" reminded Kaido

"Don't worry about that! I'll take care of it, the castle has a lot of stuff that somehow left behind by the adventurers back in the days where subjugation is an famous request" said Aileene

"But more importantly how do you feel?" Asks Argos

Hearing that Kaido breaths out a mouthful of air before replying in a flat tone

"I feel tremendous changes, like some kind of power was coursing through my veins as if its completely ingrained itself and tries to recognise it as its own, it's quite amazing! like I can destroy everything if I wanted to" he replied

"Ah that must be magic essence, don't worry it's normal, with dark magic you can almost do anything from applying to doing other things related to it, it's quite convenient at times too, except there's a drawback" said Argos

"Drawback?"

"It you use it and coupled it with your aura that is quite different from the normal dark magic that the Demon uses, it may reveal yourself as theenemy of the world itself, such is the fate of a child of Calamity" said Argos

"I see... . . It's like we're a virus" said Kaido as he tried to compare it to something

"Virus? I don't know what that is but if you insist then it must be so..." Replied Argos as he find Kaido's words were somehow new and confusing

After that to try out his new profound strength, Kaido somehow took a mile step away from them and stopped infront of a hill next to them that towered about 15 feet tall

Reaching out his hand at the hill he suddenly released some kind of a shockwaves which was followed by a sudden eruption from the base of the hill as it got completely cut off in an instant, after that the selected part suddenly started to from cracks starting from his palm until it reaches across it's other parts

As if erupting the cracks suddenly released some kind of pressure as the hill itself crumbled inwardly and we're thus being compressed into one single entity towards his palm of Kaido's hand

In a mere matter of seconds the hill eventually vanished from sight and was suddenly replaced by a somewhat palm sized metallic ball that weights far heavier weight than your ordinary metal ball, if compared then such metallic ball's weight is comparable to the weight of an huge cruise ship

"Woah! That's cool and all but I don't see anything different from what he usually do" stated Fengris as he tilted his head

"No! It's different his thought process that was once messy is now organized, with it his power seemed to have risen in ranks if power was a key to being strong, not only that but with his organized mind, he would surely be able to do far more unbelievable things that what he can do in the past... . . Right?" Asks Argos

"Exactly! I feel like I can do anything, for example in just a few mere seconds I can easily turned dirt into metal by completely repeating the cycle of refining and hammered it into this ball figure, when originally it should only contain 50% iron, 10% dirt, 10% metalloid, 5% granite, %2 sand, and etc..."

Hearing all those series of numbers, Fengris immediately lost interest on such facts as he easily picks up the metallic ball and tossed it towards Aileene then to Argos

Seeing them easily lifting the metallic ball, Kaido couldn't help but be surprised at the strength that an child of Calamity can give

After that as their clothing was being reminded over and over again in the course of their conversation, Aileene finally had it as she heads out to try and pick some good ones

"Oh yeah! Can you tell me something?" Asks Kaido

"Tell you? If I can answer then feel free" said Argos

"Why am I called the fourth child of calamity when there are already child of Calamity before" he asked

"Oh! About that... in actuality being fourth doesn't necessarily mean that your actually the fourth child but rather that is the number of child of calamity that is still living"

"....."

"In the course of history it is natural for heroes to hunt down the child of calamity as it once brought destruction to everywhere if they are provoked, at one point they even summoned otherworlders to get our kind rather than the demons... With all these persecution the only remaining ones alive is us four"

"Four... I see so I'm one of you now"

"Naturally" said Argos as he close one of his eye

With that they somehow spend some of they're time doing nothing but chat all day until Aileene arrived after thirty minutes or so

She was somehow bringing over some clothes in which it felt like it would fit perfectly for both Fengris and Argos

Of course before returning she in turn had already changed her clothes in a blue vest, white long sleeved polo, blue tie, red skirt, black knee socks, and black shoes, this is turn made her much alluring when she ever tries to tempt someone with her charm

As for Argos after changing now was black long sleeved polo, black gloves, black body fit pants, and leather shoes, this was further explained by Aileene that such clothes was left behind by a former priest so it came with a package of a cross, in which Argos used it as a necklace for appearance sake

For Fengris he was donned with a grey jacket, with striped black and white shit and a leather pants with rubber at that, apparently this came from a merchant who was reselling the clothes of an other worlder in the past, the same goes for Kaido in which it all came from an other worlder in the past that has once tried to subjugate the child of calamity in these places

"I've got a good sense for fashion right?" Asks Aileene as she eyed Kaido with a wink as if boasting something unimportant

"Whatever goes your way" replied Kaido nonchalantly

After that he asked them in return

"Now that I'm converted and your role of trying to confirm whether I'm dangerous to let be alive is finished... . . What will you do?" He asked

At that the three of them looked at each other before replying in order

"Well maybe I'm going back in a cave and sleep there for a while" said Argos

"Roam the Demon Continent again" said Fengris as if feeling bored of his travels

"Fix the castle, fix everything then perhaps spend my time leisurely inside my own room or castle" replied Aileene

Hearing their response Kaido somehow felt pity for them

"Your life's kinda dull" he said

"You don't have to remind us, but don't worry you can choose whatever you wanted to do from here, but when we needed you then you must comply to avoid having a feud against us" reminded Argos

With that Kaido fell silent for a bit as he tries to think of something, after a while a smile crept up on his face as he stated

"You guys are too precious to let you scatter just like that, how about following me?"

Hearing that all three of them begun to question Kaido's insanity since for a Child of Calamity, they follow no one since no one Lord's over them but themselves

"Are you trying to lord over us? Hate it to break it you but we won't back down if your suggesting that... . . Maybe a bone or two is enough to break your body who seemed full of himself" growled Aileene as he felt like Kaido was getting arrogant all over them

But luckily Argos stopped her before something undesirable happens

"You must have a reason right? Tell us" demanded Argos

"Reason? Well maybe it's because what I'm planning to do is much more enjoyable that what you guys are gonna do, but don't mistake me... . . I don't plan to lord over you, I'm suggesting somewhat a hand of partnership to all of you, by forming a team together with these bunch I can feel it that I'll reach the goal that I've been longing to reach" said Kaido

With all of he said, the three calamity beings begun to look at him in confusion as they try to ascertain his thoughts about this

"A partnership? For what? Building a company? Creating something? Making the world a better place?" Asked Aileene

"Nope! To kill the one behind this war, and maybe the demon king himself"

Hearing that Fengris couldn't help but whistle in admiration, while both Argos and Aileene couldn't help but gave him a wry smile

"Your basically asking for war, why is that?" She asked

"Well I felt like there is someone behind the demon king that is responsible for all of this, so I'm here to kill him, and if you join me not only will your boredom be relieved but also you may be able to have a bout with me once more to know who's stronger among four of us... . . It's your choice to make, ignore me and stay in your life of seclusion or take my hand and start an exciting war together" said Kaido as he pulled up his hair and showed a devilish grin

Since Kaido was already a Calamity Class being, his words held facts and truth, since he won't be able to deceive them cause of the traits of being a Calamity Class Being in which it amplifies your darkest side

They all know that once they took the hand, it would also mean they'll be taking the deal with the devil itself, and once it is sealed the only way they could get free would be killing themselves

But nevertheless the life of seclusion and loneliness was far more cruel than this offer of killing yourself, thus this kind of offer is like a ray of hope for the Calamity Class Being to atleast get out of their daily norms

Since the world was already they're enemy ever since they converted into Calamity Class Beings, why not make the best out of it, after all if persist all four of them is already equivalent to a more than a whole army of all races

Excitedly taking his hand, for the first time in history Kaido has formed a group of a bunch dangerous people that can easily wipe out a whole kingdom individually if they wanted to

Of course it won't be easy for the reason that the powerhouses of different factions were also getting stronger by the day, but overall the four of them are currently standing on top of the power rankings in which that can easily decimate anyone below them

After thinking for a while Fengris finally asked

"So where are we heading first?"

Hearing that Kaido replied

"I have an inkling memory of irritation towards a certain place... . . Can we go there first?" He asked

"Sure! I think we can using a mass teleportation spell, but it takes out a lot of my Mana, i will need atleast a whole day to recover before using it to return us here... . . Is that alright with you?" Asks Aileene

"Hmm alright!"

"Great! Now where to?"

As she asked Kaido gave in a smirk as he said

"Bring us somewhere near Eldion Empire"
