Chapter 280: War Of Nations V

[Demon continent, near the Demon king's Castle]

Singing some spear strikes coming from an hybrid demon which is two time taller than him, Raguel then spun and used one of his spells

"Sword of light!"

Immediately he used this sword to hit the vital spots of a hybrid demon to cause it to lag for a certain moment, before he cuts off its head

After killing that hybrid Demon, he then used his two wings and spreads it out to push other hybrid demons who were getting close to him away

Gathering Mana unto his fist, Raguel then clenched his fist as tightly as he can before punching it out unto the ground

"Shock light!"

When he did that, a huge energy shockwave suddenly spread out which blew everything that was near him away while some got disintegrated after receiving it up close

Raising his hand Raguel then conjured another sword at the same copy of his holy sword before dashing out towards the horde of hybrid Demon's and flying hybrids

"Alpha phase!"

"Dominators touch!"

"Shock repellant!"

"Ashen sword!"

Activating various spells Raguel then dived deep into their numbers as he greatly reduced the burden that the alliance are receiving due to him charging in to catch their attention

Due to what Raguel did, even special hybrids begun to notice him and were already on their way to suppress him

Seeing this from afar Alduin then pulled in one hybrid Demon and fired off his laser blast at point blank range before using it's body as he threw it towards a nearby hybrid Demon and piercing them with psyionic blade which easily passed through both of their bodies

Pulling out his blade and heaving a deep breath, Alduin then once again saw Raguel going full killing mode on the other side of the flames causing him to be the main focus of the hybrid Demon's in air and land

"Xyrus! Situation report!" Roared Alduin

"We have nearly killed all of the hybrid demons on this side... It seems like someone is holding the majority on the other side just to elliviate our burden" replied Xyrus

"I know that... It's that damned winged guy!" Said Alduin with a grit

"Huh?"

Confused of what he meant he then looked behind the fire wall and saw Raguel going full killing mode and completely killing off the majority of the hybrids on the other side

"Casualties?"

"... Huh? Oh we have some of them but thanks to your body armor we have received Greta defenses which lowered our casualties on our army" answered Xyrus

Hearing that Alduin then heaved out another deep sighed before saying

"Great! Gather some brave soldier of any type of Beastman! We're going over the wall!... Now!"

"... Um! Yes!"

"Just follow after me when your done"

When Alduin said that he then turned towards the wall of flame before commanding something

"Full battle mode on!"

Conjuring a fully weaponized armor on his body, Alduin then charged towards the enemy at the other side of the wall

"Electron phase!"

Phasing through the wall of flames, he then crashed against the wall of enemy with fully charged body causing a huge explosion which caught the attention of some hybrid Demon's

Facing off against them Alduin then used his psyionic blade to cut the hybrid Demon's near him before using the mechanized boosters around his back to shot him off the ground

Seeing this the hybrid Demon's then gripped their spear and threw it towards Alduin with great force

"Hexagon Barrier!"

Creating a forcefield out of nowhere Alduin then raised his hand as he conjured a huge stone pillar and pulled it down infront of him horizontally facing them, as he grabbed the handle on its side and started pouring mana unto it

As if receiving it's will the tip of the pillar suddenly splits open before a huge barrel showed up inside of it and started gathering energy on its muzzle

"Adamantine Cannon enhanced!"

Clicking the trigger Alduin then fired off a huge blast of this Cannon towards the ground in full force

But before it could crash he immediately used another spell to completely turn his attack towards another target

"Reflecting enhanced barrier!"

With this spell his adamantine Cannon attack then suddenly took a huge turn as it speeds out towards the huge centipede like bridge from afar

"I'm not an idiot to not know how bad the situation will be if I don't destroy those huge creatures you know... And since I felt something ominous about that huge monster, then it's natural that I should just get rid of it" said Alduin as he raised his middle finger towards the hybrid Demon's who were stupefied that shot wasn't for them at all

After all Alduin wasn't stubborn enough to fire off a magically powered shot towards a hybrid demon with high magic resistance, since it can only do much of damaging them a little

Surprised by this sudden move some of the flying hybrids were stunned as well as they tried to block such an attack, but when they did so, they were immediately killed off since they only have a slight magic resistance compared to the ground unit

Seeing this a special hybrid immediately blocked it's path and created a multi formed barrier infront of it and begun struggling to block such a huge attack

Seeing this not only Alduin, but also Raguel and some soldiers were stupefied seeing a demon with high magic resistance using magic

But the power from an adamantine Cannon was greater than it expected as it slowly destroyed such barrier bypassing the special hybrid and slicing off a side of one of the six centipede like bridge entitled carrier's

Seeing that it only scratched the monster Alduin couldn't help but get frustrated upon seeing the power of his attack got reduced

Even though he was frustrated from the result, the Demon's and monsters behind the hybrids however were shocked by this attack and even more shocked that not even a special hybrid could stop such an attack

Of course Larval who saw such a scene wasn't happy about such an information

"Belial! Tell Hepta to make her move! The Heroes are greatly reducing my made up army! If this continues then all of my experiments will be destroyed... Also send in the Demon king's army, we will make a joint attack towards their forces and break through their defensive lines" requested Larval

"You aren't happy about seeing that attack aren't you?"

Hearing that question Larval remained quiet as he watched the battle from afar not intending to answer such a question

Realizing this Belial then chuckled as he moved to inform Hepta about the changes of plan

Moments later Hepta received the information straight from Belial itself as she stretch her arms and replied happily

"Alright! I'll gladly do it since I'm bored!"

With that she commanded the Demon king's army to move immediately together until Belial called out to her

"Hey! Wait for a moment!"

"!!!'

"I've got a better idea"

Back towards the alliance side, on the medium-sized cliff near them Horus then saw the movement of the Demon king's army that was commanded by Hepta from afar

"They're moving" he muttered

Of course as an elf Queen Vivian slightly heard him

"What did you say?" She asked

"The Demon king's army, they are moving"

Hearing that Queen Vivian immediately applied nature sense unto her body and directly saw the main army moving in formation just like what Horus said

Seeing that and noticing the situation of hybrid Demon army Infront of them, she suddenly realized that the situation wasn't good as this movement will Increase the burden on them

What's more the Heroes were getting fatigue already just by moving around without even fighting the main army yet, mainly the enemy were trying to exhaust their energy

"A shameless cruel strategy it is" she muttered

"Indeed... But in a war, anything is possible" replied Horus

"Can you do something about this huge burden?" Asked Queen Vivian

Looking down on the sea of enemies Horus then said

"I can do something about it"

Hearing him say that Queen Vivian then saw Horus the oldest being alive moved his hands in a exhausted way

"Your tired aren't you?" She asked

"I'm not as young as you guys, please don't burden the old people" he replied

"Quit the yap will you? Your still stronger than me in terms of magic and even older than me you know!... It's like I've known you since I was young"

"Hohoho! Of course I know that after all I can't die anymore through aging"

With that he then slowly started gathering magic on his palm as he reminded Queen Vivian

"After this I'll be useless for awhile so I'll have to take a long rest" said Horus

"Sure" replied Queen Vivian

Raising his hand he then started using his magic as he continues his muttering with either normal words and chanting

"Activating gods eyes..."

With that he then saw the whole battlefield near him from a gods perspective

"Selecting targets..."

Slowly he drew out the hybrid demons in the crowd below while making sure that none of its allies were selected

"Initiating spell..."

Waving his hand before talking on his staff as hard as he can, a huge magic circle appeared above the sky covering about 1/4 of the battlefield

"Enhancing magic..."

Applying even more Mana the effects of such spell that he will use will greatly increase

"Duplication process..."

Copying his original magic circle drawn out unto the sky he also imitated such a spell and spread it out the battlefield covering 1/2 of the battlefield which mostly consist of special hybrid, flying hybrids, and hybrid Demon's that swarmed the alliance like a pests

After initiating this steps and completely applying them, he now finally was finished for the preparation and begun to use the intended magic that he was going to use

"Origin Magic: Genesis!"

At it's activation a bright light engulfed half of the battlefield which blinded the enemies and allies alike causing turmoil

When it dimmed down the huge pillar of light from the demons have disappeared, three out of six centipede like bridge the carrier's have been destroyed, and half of the battlefield got disintegrated thus only leaving half of it on the alliance side a completely barren wastelands without signs of enemy

Seeing such a phenomenon brought great shock from the allied forces and the enemy forces alike

But seeing this burden greatly reduced starting from Raguel he then smiled happily as he charged forward

Not wanting to be outdone Alduin followed behind him

Returning to it's original state Elijah then urged the elves to follow him

Seeing three Heroes charging the enemies side fearlessly, the alliance army of Elves, human's, and Beastmen then charged forward following their heroes

"Follow the Heroes!"

"Charge!!!"

"For our people!"

With that a huge wave of the army then flowed out from their base towards the demons army who have snapped out of their daze and charged forward too with an intent to do a full drawn out Battle

With various leaders in the human race and Beastman race joining the fray, that only left Queen Vivian and Horus inside the base taking a rest after using a huge magic that even out the battlefield

Not far from them after taking another route, Ingrid and her group finally saw the army clashing down below them

Using Anna's magic projection she then showed them the situation of Ingrid's father as she saw her father charging in with a horse together with her despicable brother

Even thought she hated him, but since Kaido let him go for a purpose, she then tried to forgive him but never forget what he did

At a time she planned to come in and help her kingdom to atleast ensure that her father and Sarah's father General Stone to survive

On the other hand in another perspective Kaido and the rebel army behind him who were both anxious and nervous to fight the main army from behind were silently waiting for Kaido to send the signal to attack

Apparently Kaido was intently observing Larval as he waited for him to make a move so that he can initiate the attack

Once larval made his move, he then can proceed to attack the castle without any problem at all

All he need to do now was wait until both side tries to destroy each other

"No matter what! None can stand in my way!"
