Chapter 292: War Of Nations XVII

[Demon Continent, Demon King's Castle]

Standing up among the radioactive chemicals, Raguel slowly spreads his wings as he flaps them and charged towards Kaido, unknown to him his body has been infiltrated by radioactive chemicals that will slowly erode his body overtime

With a straight dash he grabbed Kaido's shirt and slammed it against the ceiling, this breaking it, but that didn't stop there as Raguel continued to fly over and dragged her to a nearest cliff and smacked him against the wall

Pressing Kaido against it, he once more flaps his wings as he dragged him across the surface of the hard rocky cliffs

"Kuh!"

Luckily Kaido applied his psychic barrier in time as it protected him from any lethal damage, but the pain in the process of receiving it was still painful that he felt like it would tear him apart

Grabbing unto Raguel's armor as he got dragged along, he then inserted force unto his grip as he flipped over causing Raguel to crash against the edge of the cliff, which in turn separated them from each other as both of them crashed at opposite ends

"Guh!... You..." Growled Raguel

"Ahahaha... Hahaha!" Laughed Kaido

As both of them stood up, both of them have differing goals and attitudes that even their reply agaisnt each other was quite strange at times

"Shut up!" Shouted Raguel as he gets annoyed by Kaido's laugh

With a swing of his sword Raguel then sent a huge energy wave towards kaido that razed the ground

"Sword wave!"

Instantly Kaido applied another barrier in confrontation agaisnt that attack as he stood firm to his ground and didn't back away

After that Kaido stretch out his hand as he Co troled the earth around Raguel to assault him boulders after boulders

With the ground cracking and floor exploding, the earthen below opened up as they lounged towards Raguel and stomped him to death

Seeing this Raguel emitted a bright glow on his sword as he wav d them towards the rocks and flooring that. Begin assaulting him in every direction, but due to their number and continues assault he soon got overwhelmed that he soon got drowned by such attack

Clenching his left hand, Kaido then raised his right towards the sky as the clouds above hot thicker, this turning dark all of the sudden

With the one command from him, black Lightning soon crashed down towards Raguel coming from the sky as it destroyed everything from the ground no matter how hard it is

For a moment the whole world was filled with bright light as black lightning crashed down and destroyed a section of the cliff

The explosion was so loud and grand that it actually caught everyone's attention, even though they were fighting a life and death battle on the battleground below

With that huge Calamity Mana being used to conjure black lightning, all three of the Calamity class being immediately recognized  the person who used such force

"Looks like even little Kaido is preoccupied at the moment... Will we even make it at the demon king at this rate?" Asked Argos to himself as he still got assaulted by cloaked people

"The location where Kaido is fighting... I wish I could fought his opponent, his opponent seems strong after all" said Fengris as he dodged an attack coming from a cloaked double swordsman

"There are so many obstacles, are the enemy really desperate to stop us from approaching their king? Such tenacious Demon's" complained Aileene as she ripped a demon into two with his bare hands

Slowly walking towards the edge of the destruction, Kaido Co of clearly see the sunken ground as Raguel slowly stood up from those rubbles

"Looks like your armor or what not of some force protected you, pity that it seems my attacks didn't work" said Kaido as he sorted down

But contrary to his carefree attitude Raguel doesn't seemed happy at all

"You... How did you get... That power?... You don't have that power... Before" asked Raguel as he realized that Calamity Mana and it's attacks was so painful to him that it really harms his body and even able to injure him inspite of his light attribute and the Hero's armor which was said made in the ancient times

Although Raguel lived longer than expected, he in turn didn't lived long enough to know that Calamity Mana was harmful to any type of creature as long he or she is not a child of Calamity

Many died in the process of obtaining Mana that could hurt the gods, some ended in tragic death, but those who indeed obtained them were so scarce that they are considered rare

There Mana was so harmful that when they're uncontrollable emotions spread, their own Calamity Mana would correspond to the host feelings and destroy Everything

After all there is a reason why gods feared Calamity Class Beings, and the reason why Calamity Class Beings could kill God's

Standing up from the rubble while supporting his body with a sword, Raguel then gritted his teeth as he clicked his tongue as he began fighting again

"Orb of light!"

"Light sword!"

Combining both spells he then sent such energy attacks to assault Kaido who for some reason jerked up and immediately dodged  the attacks

While skipping and sliding across the ground, Kaido kept sending out air waves, and earthen spears towards such attacks to either destroy them or block them

As Kaido was busy dealing with such attacks, Raguel on the other hand crouched down as he pulled out his sword which emitted a bright glow towards the cliff infront of him

With a stinging ring as if similar to a high pitched bell toll, the whole cliff got destroyed by a swing, instantly destroying it along Kaido on its surface

With a huge explosive sound all the people who are still fighting saw the cliff getting destroyed as two figure shot out from those smoke of clouds

Receiving a full blow of that attack Kaido was once again sent flying as he crashed on the surface of the battlefield and created a huge crater upon his crash

Following close to him Raguel didn't let up as he chased Kaido when he crashed and instantly slammed against him at the center of the crater, thus shaking the ground as the earthen rises and got reshaped due to the shockwave of that slam

Raising his sword Raguel then emitted a bright glow unto it as he slashed down aiming at Kaido's head

Sensing that danger before him Kaido instantly lit up as he exploded radioactively with his body at the center point and medium

Bit Raguel immediately applied barrier in his body as he casted magic to instantly heal his injuries

"Holy light!"

Healing at a visible speed he then continued to thrust his sword forward

Seeing that Kaido begun to light up again as he exploded a second time, but Raguel still held his ground as he pushed forward with force

At this moment the sword was already a few centimeters from Kaido's body when Kaido immediately applied psychic barrier around him

"It's useless!" Said Raguel when he noticed that Kaido changed his tactics of defending

Easily breaking the barrier he then slashed down his sword

In a slight moment Kaido moved his upper body to the side by a few Inch as his shoulder got stabbed instead, with blood flowing out Kaido seemed to scream a bit as he gritted his teeth and endured the pain

Grabbing unto Raguel's arm he then said

"Now you've done it, you shitty angel"

Applying both psychic energy and calamity Mana unto his fist, Kaido then directly punched Raguel's face so hard that it blown him away while letting the sword go

As Raguel's crashed down far from him, Kaido then took a he of the sword which burned his wound so much that it stings and immediately thrown it towards Raguel with it's blade facing him

Seeing that Raguel shifted his body to the side to dodge the blade and begun charging forwards while stretching out his hand and commanding the sword to return to him

But the moment he did this rocks, ice, metal, and flames begin assaulting him from all sides relentlessly that he got battered up by just this confrontations

"Enough!"

Irritated by such a situation he then spread out his Mana all over as it destroyed every elements around him

But Kaido wouldn't let it go as he swiped his hand to the side, When he did such a thing, a strange force seemed to dragged Raguel as he got pulled and dragged against the ground

As that happened Kaido raised his hand and formed a huge ice block of iceberg above him by condensing the air and water to a freezing point so fast that it created ice by a  millisecond as time passes

Within a few moments the ice above Kaido grew into a gigantic size bigger that the carrier of the hybrid Demon

Controlling this gigantic iceberg above him, he then sent such attack towards Raguel without showing any genuine mercy

Breaking free of that strange force, Raguel was now faced by this huge attack that even he felt that the atmosphere around him suddenly dropped

Gathering Mana unto his sword he then thrusted his sword out

"Holy ray!!!"

With a beam of light coming out from the tip of his sword, such energy then crashed against the huge block of ice, thus creating a freezing shockwave that Instantly froze the area around him

At this moment however Kaido was already preparing fo another attack

Stepping up his game Raguel then glowed brightly as his wings spread out to show just how serious Raguel was taking this

"Haaaaaaahhh!!!!!!"

With a war cry  Raguel then finally destroyed the huge ice block as his light pierced through that thick ice

But as the ice got destroyed, it's aftereffect wasn't that simple as it's freezing point was still able to freeze a huge part of the land that even made Raguel shiver due to it's coldness

But as Raguel stumbled forward, he then felt a burning sensation that he immediately reacted to it as he moved his gaze towards kaido

When he did, he then saw a huge ball of flame above Kaido, as the latter immediately threw towards them right after the freezing iceberg

Still experiencing the numbness of his hands, Raguel then finally broke loose as he undone any restriction he brought to himself

With his Mana rising and the light going wildly, he then got engulfed by that huge fire ball in that process

As if breaking through the light that made out of his Mana, it begun piercing the huge fireball as if it seems to be breaking out of its shell

Letting loose Raguel's Mana then shot off as it disintegrated the flames, as it's towering and suffocating Mana overflowed as it destroyed it's surrounding and even killed some carriers, demons, and allies alike

With a breath Raguel then slowly took a step as one by one he casted and activated some spells

"Limit break!"

"Divine possession!"

"Great outburst!"

"Full enhancement!"

"Hero's Heart!"

"Celestial's awakening!"

With each activation, the towering Mana that Raguel already possesses grew even stronger with every step

At this moment even Kaido felt an ominous feeling coming from Raguel as he healed his wounds

With bright light glowing out of his body, white eyes that seemed to see everything, holy aura that seemed to sense around him, and firm body as if his whole injury for the past moments of battle was healed, Raguel seemed to be an entity which surpassed the expectations of many

Faced with such monstrous power, even Kaido felt like an ant before it

But as he wondered how to deal with this, he suddenly felt a hand carrassing his cheeks like a mother caring for her children as it slowly hugged him and comforted him, even though he couldn't see that person who was currently doing that to him

Distracted by that thought Kaido then frantically looked around but saw no one except Raguel who was showing his all walking towards him

Once more he suddenly felt this motherly feelibg as it hugged him once more

Then suddenly just like what Serefina was once doing to him when he was still linked to her thoughts, Kaido felt the same nostalgic feeling when that entity talked to him

("My child! Do you want power?")

Hearing that Kaido's expression turned grim as he replied with a thought

"I don't know who you are, or what you are but f*ck off!"

("What a naughty child I have")

"Shut up! Shut it! How are you able to get in my head?... I don't know what you want but stay out of this, he's my prey, I'll kill him without any external help, so whoever you are may be god or what not, f*ck off"

As if that entity seemed to smile upon him after seeing such an interesting being it replied with a gentle voice

("As you wish... I'll see your struggles to the end, I'll be watching you from the sides... My child")

Was if disappearing, the voice that rung on Kaido's mind faded away as he focused on his prey at the moment

With this scene of a Hero trying his whole heartedly killing and destroying a villain, Kaido couldn't help but laugh

"Ahahaha! Come on! Show me me what you've got! I'll take all of them... After all the party is just getting started"
