Chapter 315: Welcome To the Void

[Somewhere in the void]

Walking in the corrupted black land with his heavy blackened armor, Asuto then traversed the land of the void as every terrain in such land was similar to earth, except everything here is corrupted to the core

Looking at the purple glowing veins on the ground that seemed to suck all life from this land Asuto couldn't even imagine just how the world like this got corrupted

The sky was violet not even clouds could be seen, it is as if it's always clear here, the ground was blackened due to the void veins creeping across the land, the trees were blackened dead plants with no signs of life, the water turned into a liquid similar to the void energy due to the contamination of this world, the ecosystem wasn't even that friendly especially the animals that mutated and turned into horrifying creatures after being corrupted

There were monster like birds, giant corrupted centipede, rabid void wolves, big ass corrupted scorpions, and a towering huge snake that can even crush a whole skyscraper with it's body size, of course there were humanlike creatures walking in this world such as black void knights

Everything that originated from the void were called Voidlings, a place of outlaws without rules or regulations, the only way survive in this world was to fight forever

People like Asuto that came from a different world and we're exiled to this world were called Voidwalker's, the void was a place for the exiled people or creatures that has been close to ruining the whole reality

The reason why no one ever survived the place of the void was because they were either of the choices such as killed, eaten, got corrupted or turned to stone

As for Voidwalker's turning to stone, the reason for this phenomenon was the forceful extraction of life from their body which is primarily done by the hard to kill void knights a type of Voidlings that originated from this world

At first upon arrival at this world Asuto then became desperate as he tried to find a way back to escape this hellish place, wherever he go, he will always be attacked by the Voidlings that lived in this world, he can't even get a wink of sleep

24/7 he needs to be aware of his surroundings by that long, due to constant stress, his body grew weaker by the day, no matter how strong he is, no matter how many Voidlings he killed, no matter how many Voidwalker's that he met and betrayed him, he always need to traverse forward just to survive

Until he met a creature not from this world approached him, it didn't come from the world of the void nor did it come from the world of the living, that person was just so unique as he reached out for him who was desperate to live

All he could ever see from that person was emptiness, black, darkness, nothing, it never introduced it's name but just gave him a task that he will receive the moment he took his hand

The task was to awaken him from his slumber, such task was almost as easy as it sounded at first but the process he needed to do was so hard that there will be many who will notice such phenomenon when he will do it, such people that will notice him will be the God's themselves

Upon accepting everything due to desperation, the person then smiled eerily at him as it immediately killed Asuto and said

"But first you need to die"

With those words Asuto himself did die by its hand, after dying the person brought it's body to the corrupted veins and plunged him down into it before disappearing

But at that moment Asuto woke up as if renewed and reborn as a different person, his physique was different, he felt much more powerful than before when he was human, he felt unstoppable

But at the instant he became conscious about this changes, a flood of information on what he needed to do entered his mind, and at that moment he knew what he needed to do in order to awaken the person that helped him completely

But many people are gonna obstruct on what his about to do, so in order to lessen any threat that may be fall the operation causing it to fail, he first needed to do something to atleast bring him to an advantageous position and that is to weaken the very world closest to the void

The moment he looked through it, 10 world was actually closer to this realm more than expected but the most surprising of all was one of them was the world that exiled him

With a thought Asuto with the power of the void in his veins returned to this world 35,000 years ago and started his dubious plans to weaken the world as much as possible by creating disasters that will be the fall of mankind

He once became a support from a certain hero, knight of a kingdom, a negotiator, a mysterious helper, a friend of the demon king and many more... All in the end where he will kill anyone that may become strong or an obstacle to his plans

Many heroes, Demon king's, powerful figures died in his hands, since he can't die he hid from the eyes of the God's for 35,000 years while preparing the everything for the reawakening of his Lord

At last the everything was finished after 35,000 years by sacrificing a lot of lives from powerful figures of different generations for this moment, and in this generation his last target was the soul of the Demon king and used it as the last piece to sacrifice for the reawakening

Everything he did was for this moment, why did he do it? The pure reason for this was because he despised the world so much that he wanted everything to be destroyed, the pure grudge that he felt for 35,000 years, the evilness of life, the repeating tragedy the loss of everything, all of them was because the world was tainted black by the ones that loved on it, thus to purify it evrything needs to be destroyed

As he looked around this vast land of the void Asuto the finally arrived at the platform above the wherein the souls that he accumulated for 35,000 years was here just to reawaken the Lord that helped him when he was in desperation 35,000 years ago

"At last the time has come, we will be reunited once more, everything will be reshaped to your own image"

As Asuto said those words 10 unknown shades then gathered behind him as if such shades have been observing what Asuto have done until now, in fact this shades was superior than Asuto as they greeted his success with a ghastly voice

"You have succeeded!"

"Congratulations"

Hearing those words Asuto fully knew that this shades were just applauding him with. Empty words

"No need for chit chats it will need time for it to be launched and reawaken our slumbering Lord, but during those times, some people might even delay us for a bit and destroy my plans... I will need your help" said Asuto as he really wanted this 10 shades to help since he fully knew just how strong are this shades

If he ever compares this shades he then knew that not even him the strongest hero could ever deal with one of them, atleast not for now

Unexpectedly they replied with their ghastly voice

"This is not our problem"

"You decide how to handle this, perhaps we will be entertained"

"We have seen all the gods potential candidates, they are quite strong, but not strong enough to stop what's supposed to happen"

"The reawakening is absolute, no matter what they do..."

"They will fail and the process will succeed"

"You just need to stall for time"

"Show us your capability"

Hearing this Asuto really wanted to retort but to them but kept silent as he did not want any conflict to such har to kill beings

But just as he conceded they then said to him in their ghastly voice

"Do not try to provoke us..."

"Oh! Foolish hero! You have submitted to our Lord, you can never kill us"

"Such a life for a person who are desperate"

Hearing those words Asuto couldn't help but get irritated as he kept silent, all he need to do was to keep the process go smoothly as possible

"The entire process will last for about an hour, this need to last till that long or else... Everything will be lost"

As he said those words, something unexpected happened at one point of location about 500 km away from him

Even though such distance was far, but he knew if left alone they could jeapordize everything

At that moment the shades offered a word of advice as they too knew that something entered illegally to their domain

"Deal with it"

With those words Asuto begun his move of defending his ground against the assault army

At that point in time a rift so huge opened up as if such rift leads to an unknown world that will bring chaos in the world of the void has opened

Due to the immense magical energy that flooded into the world of the void, any weak looking Voidlings immediately fled away as a gigantically huge Lonsdaleite centipede like bridge walked in followed by 49 more like it as if such a huge fleet were invading the world

The distribution of an army in every transportation was random, there were no fixed number, all troops that has no resistance powers like Kaido was wearing a purifying stone that will keep themselves safe from Kaido's botulinum toxic gas under his own creation and control

Due to it's toxicity any kind of matter will be immediately affected even the void creatures who have the same functions as monsters and humans

"Are you sure that this toxic gas will work on them? They are currupted creatures after all" said Larval as he snaps out of his daze upon seeing the world of the void

In fact not only him, everyone that joined the raid was surprised to see the world of exile and it's horrible environment, they even deduced that Kaido's toxin might not even work to such creatures

Evilly Kaido then smiled back as he said

"My toxin is especially made for them, by analyzing the only void rock that you have retrieved from Asuto's room, I noticed that the composition of matter of the black rock to an ordinary rock was the same, the only reason why it looks different because of the foreign pathogen essence that corrupted it's core"

"You mean the void essence?" Asks Larval

"You get it! I knew I could talk easily with people who have the same interest as me" said Kaido as he patted Larval's shoulder

Following which Kaido moved to the very center of his transportation as most of the troops were on edge and seemed to observe the land

Upon arriving to where Seralyn was located, Kaido could see a streak of sweat falling down her cheeks as he asks

"Nervous?"

"Me? Of course I'm nervous, were transversing an unknown land full body dangers... This is a completely new thing for me" said Seralyn

"Nice! This is a first to me too... Look even Marxcus is serious over to your side" said Kaido as he pointed at Marxcus

Glancing at him Seralyn then shook her head as she replied

"Nope! He's frozen stiff in surprise... In all of history of our kin, this raid will be the most dangerous of all things... We actually poured everything into this, if we fail then the decline of our race will be absolute" said Seralyn

"Then we you just need to survive while I focus on killing Asuto, after all that's been my goal from the start, I don't care what happens to this world as long as I can kill him... And after that I can finally return home and take my revenge, isn't that exciting?" Asks Kaido

"Not really for me, I just want to take a long rest after this, I've been tensed you know..."

At this moment Argos, Aileene, and Fengris came over as they said

"What do you have to fear little Queen? You have us! Ahahaha!" Laughed Fengris as he showed up beside Kaido

"You really should have more confidence, even our mister villain here wanted to kill any opposition he sees" said Argos as he flew down from above

"Show them that girls can lead too" cheered Aileene a colleague on being a Queen

At one point Seralyn felt touched as she said

"You guys... You've been just using my influence all this time for your own convenience, how could you treat me this way?"

"Well your the one who reached out to us" said Fengris

"Your our junior! So suck it up" said Aileene

"Better repay our hard work" said Argos

Witnessing this scene, it even didn't felt like they were in any form of danger at all until suddenly Kaido felt a movement on the ground the moment the transportation touched 300km to the target location

"They're here..."

The moment Kaido said those words all people became tensed as they readied themselves for this elongated war between two sides who have been living in darkness

Following that Sylvia who was scouting the sky shouted as well in a loud voice to alert all troops situated in the 50 transportation Lonsdaleite centipede like bridge

(Noted that each centipede is as long as the Golden gate bridge and as wide as the widest football field in earth)

"All troops! Prepare for battle!"

"The enemy is here!"

"Mages ready your spells, combatants ready your claws teeth or whatever weapon you have!!!"

At that point everyone including the leaders focused on Kaido's words as only he could detect just how large is the enemy's forces are at this point

Following his instincts Kaido immediately sent out a huge sonar waves using slightly shockwaves on air and the ground to detect the exact number of the flooding enemy

But what he said next surprised them all and even made them hesitate whether they would win

"1,000... 10,000... It's still rising 50,000... 100,000... 200,000... 250,000... 500,000... 750,000..."

With every second Kaido's analyze more of its enemies as the opposing forces increases and finally outnumbered them

Upon hearing that the enemy forces exceeded their numbers, everyone then begun to panic as they looked at the flooding enemy in the horizon

As if they were being welcomed by the void itself, it felt like it's whole forces was sent to them to immediately suppress their numbers

Finally Kaido finished counting their enemies both on air and on the ground as his face became stiff in shock

"That damned bastard! Are you kidding me?!?! A freaking 500,000,000 troops"

At that point all joint troops from the raiding army panicked as they heard the final count

"500,000,000 enemies"
