Chapter 324: Grudge

Taking a step closer into the device which was clearly being protected by Asuto, Horus then begun to ponder about such weird architecture

"Hmm... I'm guessing that this is that device that will awaken him? I see... Such a weird thing" he commented

Upon hearing that Asuto then begun to stride slowly infront of Horus as he observed every movement that he made

"What do you want?" He asked

"Me? Isn't that obvious? Of course I'm after this device that your trying to protect" said Horus

"So your here to destroy it... Aren't you a bit lax? After all you are a guardian and a keeper of the Akashic records, are you sure that it's safe to leave it behind?" Probe Asuto

"Oh that occupation? Don't you worry about it at all... I've already passed it on to someone" answered Horus as he chuckled

"Pass it on!?!?! Inheritance?!?! I didn't know that it was even possible... But of your here while pushing all your responsibility to someone else, then all I can say is that you've prepared yourself that you won't survive this Advent"

Hearing that Horus the stood at his own place for a few seconds while tapping into the ground using his staff

"I've already resolved myself, after all I've loved for far too long, isn't it enough?" Asked Horus

with that Asuto then looked at him before glancing at both Elijah and Alduin who were battle ready

"There is never enough for me, in fact I'm not tired at all" said Asuto

Listening to that Horus then immediately walk forward causing Asuto to glare at him, this I'm turn caused Horus to stop in his tracks

"Aren't you gonna ask why I'm doing this? Like the typical thing?" Asked Asuto

"And why would I? Does you telling me something I already know be beneficial to me? If it can then I'd like to see it" said Horus

With that Asuto then smiled as he said

"As expected to the keeper of the records..."

"You flatter me"

After that Asuto then walked in between them and the device as he asked

"Since that's done... I'm guessing you brought them here to help you destroy this thing, am I correct or do i have to correct myself?"

"Nope! Your correct, I can't afford you to revive him Asuto, you know his strength clearly just like I have, no matter what he offers, it won't come true" urged Horus

"I know... But the world need to be cleansed"

"That's not up for you to decide"

"Nope! Since I have power to do exactly that, then why not?"

Learning that the talk failed, Horus had no choice but to use force after all time was precious

"Now!"

The moment that word was said Alduin changed to it's full combat suit mode and charged towards Asuto with a photon blade in one hand

Getting to an enough distance he then struck coldly towards him as if Asuto was a pebble on the road, but the moment he did so the latter immediately unsheathed it's sword in one hand and completely blocked the attack

Using this chance Elijah stride to it's side as he pulled his arrow and launched it towards Asuto

Noticing the projectile, Asuto then quickly grabbed the flying arrow with his remaining hand, but when he did that the arrow suddenly exploded right infront of his face, which was then made use by Alduin as he conjured a electromagnetic pulse rate and fired at Asuto in a point blank range

With that Asuto was sent flying and stumbling as he screeched across the floor

But during that time Horus then casted a huge spell above him

"Gravity sphere!!!"

Just as it's name suggest the ground beneath Asuto then started to crumble as bit of rocks and land floated above ground and headed towards the gravity sphere above him

Noticing this phenomenon, Asuto then directed his force towards the sphere as he unleash a full wave of attack only to destroy it

"Void drive!!!"

Successfully destroying it the ground that was far above the surface then fell to the ground like a drop of rain this causing Asuto to lose his footing and balance

At that moment such situation wasn't an obstacle to Elijah as his system takes over his aiming

As zavkiel Elijah's system said those words, Elijah then released his grip to shoot the conjured arrow towards Asuto

"Rain fall!!!"

Shooting down like a fiery of comets, one after another such attack then successfully landed on Asuto causing the latter to go off track and crash quicker than as he fell

Seeing that Asuto was occupied Horus then immediately started to cast a spell towards the device to slow down its count down, at this moment the preparation phase was finished and now the execution phase was on its countdown state which further gave pressure to him

"Protect me as much as you could!"

Hearing that Alduin then puts on his armor once more and charged ahead with an intention of buying time

Seeing this, Asuto then glanced at Horus then to the device, causing him to click his tongue in annoyance

Pushing himself off, he then took off with a heavy step and slammed agaisnt the approaching Alduin, causing both of them to enter in a brawl state

With punching and pushing included in this brawl both Asuto and Alduin then crashed to the ground with the momentum keeps rising

After a few punches straight from Asuto, he then grabbed ahold of Alduin and threw him towards the nearest rocks

Right after that he quickly formed a shield behind him as he noticed Elijah's presence from behind him

Just as he expected Elijah did attack him from behind as he quickly activated his shield and block all the incoming destructive arrows he sent

Raising his hand Asuto then fired off multiple orbs shot towards Elijah

"Compressed disintegration!!!"

Sensing the danger from this attack, Elijah quickly maneuvered his body to dodge it's every projectile as much as he could, but at the last second of that volley one of them successfully shot his right leg causing it to popped like a balloon thus caused a gaping hole to appear on his leg

With pain coursing through his nervous system, Elijah screamed in anguish as he held unto his injured leg

At this moment horus saw Elijah's condition as he gritted his teeth in anger while continuing his spell

"Frozen case!"

Shooting out such a spell towards the device, Asuto then felt irritation as he quickly phased through the field and came upon the spell with an intent to destroy it

But just as he was about to struck the projectile spell, an ion laser then came towards him in an incredible speed which blasted him away

From afar Alduin finally raguened his footing as he spits out a mouthful of blood from that beat up he recieved

With that Horus spell successfully landed on the device causing its countdown to freeze for a few minutes

Seeing this happening, angered filled within Asuto as he glared at Horus, Alduin, and Elijah as he thought of them as annoying insects

Within an instant alduin blasted both Elijah and alduin away like they were nothing, while starting to cast some spells to assault Horus,  guaranteeing his death

At the same time horus prepared his own spell as he casted down below from the heavens above

"World Class Magic: Heaven's Fall!!!"

Sensing a huge attack incoming, Asuto then activated his spell

"Death God's wrath!!!"

With that a huge explosion exploded out of nowhere quickly quietened the field as everyone could witness such huge explosion even from afar which also caused quakes all over the land

Not far from them Hibiki could clearly feel the intensity of the explosion which also alarmed him, since horus and the other's were in that direction, but nonetheless  his focus was still towards both Alda and Mia, the two people he had persecuted

After reaching this point both Alda and Hibiki strikes each other as they battled it out with their own swordmanship

Compared to Hibiki's destructive power, Alda's power on the other hand seemed well maintained and used as he exquisitely dodge any fatal strikes from Hibiki while countering it with his follow up strike

With this display, Hibiki was then brought down into a corner as his body was riddled with injuries all over, but not giving up he still endured it as much as he casted his spell one after another

"Advance healing!!!"

"Sword of light!!!"

"Aura barrier!!!"

Like a cannon hibiki charged forth  and struck Alda with a slash and threw him away by using force, after that he stnaced himself once more before engaging towards Mia

Of course Mia kept shooting arrows towards Hibiki  with an attempt  to slow him down, but such attacks were useless

Noticing this Alda's  expression contorted into anger as he shouted

"Don't you dare do the same thing astounded did before"

Ignoring such shouts Hibiki conjured many light spheres  around him and shot them out towards Mia

"Orb of light!!!"

But as the projected was upon reach to her, Hibiki immediately remembered the scene where Alda begged Raguel  who was controlling  his body to spare Mia, but nonetheless Raguel still beheaded her expressionless

With that memory, Hibiki could gravely remember Mia's sorrowful face but still determined to the end

As for some reason he didn't notice this before but at that moment it felt like Mia was saying something towards Alda  while also giving her last words towards Hibiki

After saying that she loves Alda  towards the end, he then tried to figure out her last word to him when Raguel sliced her head off, thus also the reason why raguel cried Unknowingly on that day

("It's okay, it's  not you fault hibiki")

With that thought or pure imagination, Hibiki quickly redirected his spell towards another location thus missing Mia by a hair's thread

At that for some reason he begun crying once more as he faced against his old friends

Stepping aside he then dodged Alda's  sneak attack while forming a cover fire towards them

"Hibiki!!! I'll  never forgive you... I'll  never ever forgive what you did... I still clearly remember how I begged to you, yet you completely disregarded me... at this second chance I have, I'll make you suffer no matter what!!!"

Hearing that Hibiki  wiped the tears away from his eyes as he nodded at Alda's words without replying much since his words were stuck on his throat due to his current condition

Of course Mia  noticed such reaction from Hibiki  which then made her think about it since for some reason she could feel sorrow deep inside of him

Despite her being silent for some reason, she somehow had known in her past that the last time they fought, wa Stat the Hibiki back then was an impostor, but  the Hibiki now clearly depicted the old Hibiki that she knew

Buy this is still just a speculation from her, thus she still had to observe  some time more before making her move

As Alda cursed hibili to the point of death, Hibiki  on the other hand kept gritting his teeth while looking quite a bit uneasy on the situation

It truly felt like Hibiki was affected unlike his previous state

At that moment Hibiki spoke while forcefully surfacing his feelings

"Alda... Mia... I'm sorry!!!... please wait for me... I'll clearly liberate you"

With those words coming from jim, for some reason Alda  became even more enraged as he charged straight towards Hibiki with a full intent to kill

"Hibiki!!! I'm gonna kill you!!!"

With a charge Alda then attacked Hibiki with all his might,  while the latter rarely sends put any counter towards him as if hesitating to even injure him

With a sorrowful face for some reason Mia could clearly recognize such expression which cleared her speculation as both Alda and hibiki exchanged blows

At last she finally spoke after seeing that expression

"Hibiki?"
