Chapter 335: Source Of All
[Void]
An entity completely different from the void and all known living organisms, a matter of undefined, a being that can't even be measured by strength
Such an entity has descended unto this space incomplete as he finally started to step out of its long time seclusion
Due to it's presence even the void itself seemed to quake as adrupt changes happened in different part of the world
Tsunami's rise, quakes became frequent and even abnormal phenomenon that doesn't exist started to appear
Even the gods seemed to have sensed it's presence as one of its parts have finally broken free from it's restrictions
"I have returned..." Said Zerathras as he walked the barren land of the corrupted void
As he walked every person inside the wide vicinity felt threatened as if the only thing they could foresee their ending is death
Even the lich and every undead creatures that was supposed to harbor the power of death seemed to tremble under his presence, only Asuto who have summoned him seems to be more excited than everyone present
"Lord Zerathras... I am Asuto the first hero! I have fulfilled my wish to free you from your restraints, I just hope that you will be true to your words and change everything" said Asuto as he humbled himself infront of the person who showed him everything that was evil in one's eyes
Seeing this both Kaido and Hibiki couldn't even believe the fact that Asuto humbled himself infront of someone both of them didn't even know
At that Kaido couldn't help but smile upon seeing such a sudden change in behavior
"Ahahaha!!! Looks like we caught something big this time, what's this? Calling for a backup cause of the reason that you can't even get rid of us? What are you a child? Pathetic!!!"
Infront of this clear provocation, Asuto kept his humble attitude in a respectful manner that was completely different from the attitude that he gave towards the Demon king
Seeing this all vassals that saw his act couldn't help but get even more angrier upon seeing such an act of longiness
Forcing himself to stand up, Belial then held unto his knees as he glared at both the entity and Asuto from afar
"So that's where loyalty belongs?" Asked Belial
"Looks like it" commented larval
"This is preposterous... I thought at first even before the war became worse that he was a part of us" growled Sylvia
"That was just an act to fool us all, in fact this guy... Zerathras? What kind of name is that? We haven't even heard of him" complained Hepta
"No matter who he is, he will pay dearly for using us" bellowed Belial as he started accumulating Mana in his hands
In fact not one of them actually knew of his existence other than Horus himself, but sadly Horus himself died even before this happened
As for the Calamity Class Beings even thought they were supposed to be one of the peak powers in this world, the pressure that the newly arrived entity gave is much more powerful than what Asuto was giving off, counted that Asuto possesses two peak powers such as Calamity Class and Humanity
Touching his own back, Argos then started converging Mana unto his decapitated wing part and started regenerating it one's more
In fact all Calamity Class Beings can regenerate, it's only problem was that by doing so would actually reduce a huge portion of their Mana, which is quite disadvantageous for them when in combat
"This is a bit problematic... This guy... Gives off a really dangerous feel" said Argos as he gritted in pain
As for Fengris after opening one eye just to see who's the newly arrived entity, he then immediately closed it as he said
"He looks quite strong, it's troublesome, better pretend to be dead than fighting it"
Hearing that through telepathy Aileene then cough out a mouthful of blood as she held unto her destroyed clothes and swollen belly
"Ugh! That attack that was directed into my all, really hurts... When one is already troublesome, another one came out...just where do this people coming out from?" She complained as she glared at Asuto
Following that she then snapped back towards Fengris
"As for you mutt show your goddamn pride... Your a Fenrir! At least act a part of it"
Hearing that Fengris then sent back a telephathic message towards Aileene
"Correction! Cursed Fenrir! But not a 100% pure blood... That's the reason why I was abandoned"
With that Aileene couldn't help but grit her teeth as she felt like skinning Fengris alive
Seeing this Argos couldn't help but chuckle as he felt that way hung Aileene and Fengris go agaisnt each other was refreshing to his eyes
"You guys really knows how to ruin the mood"
Of course his comment was immediately ignored as Aileene struggled to even stand

Contrary to them Asuto then glared at the dozen or so people that are rising off the ground as they shoots their hostility towards them
"Lord Zerathras, when are your going to fulfill your promise?" He asked in impatience
With that Zerathras replied
"I will... But not right now, I'm just an entity, with unstable soul, mind, and will... As long as I can't retrieve my body parts that is scattered all throughout the cosmos then I can't do anything at all... It's better if we go and slowly search for my other parts"
Hearing that Asuto then was slightly stunned
"You mean we still have to wait? But... We won't even know how long that will take?"
In reply to that Zerathras then looked at Asuto coldly
"You lived for 35,000 years... The search won't even last for 100 years so what does that make any different? I'm sure for you waiting for a 100 years is just like a casual stroll for you"
"That's... I'm not that impatient, I just want result, immediate results" said Asuto after he cleared his doubts and almost angering the person infront of him
Hearing that then Zerathras nodded as he looked at everyone else below
"Looks like your busy, are these people here to stop my freedom?"
"No! My lord...they are just here for me, they wanted to kill me that's all... It's just that your awakening coincides to the day that they are going to kill me" answered Asuto
"Is that so? So your they're target not me?"
"Yes... Except for one person, but worry not I already killed him"
"That is wonderful
But before they could talk any longer, both Kaido and Hibiki lounged towards them as they strike their very all
Brandishing his sword Hibiki then charged forwards splitting both the entity and Asuto apart
With that Kaido went after the entity to try and restrain it while Hibiki would stall Asuto until Kaido provides backup
For the first time in a while since they separated, both Hibiki and Kaido worked once more just at this moment to kill Asuto
Charging forth Hibiki slashed his sword towards Asuto multiple times only to be blocked by the latter
At one point Asuto tilted his body which made Hibiki to miss his strike and slightly made him imbalanced, due to that Asuto took such chance for himself and delivered a hard blow towards Hibiki which destroyed his armor even more
But Hibiki wasn't the only one that is hostile to Asuto
Soon after Argos struck the ground beneath Asuto to cause him to become unbalanced, causing Aileene to have a pathway straight towards Asuto
Recreating her blade in a moment, Aileen then immediately parried Asuto's sword before stricking her sharp nails towards his armor and used her strength to completely crush it
But as she did that Asuto then reacted swiftly as he grabbed ahold of her head and smashed it against his knee causing Aileen to be in a daze
Pulling her hair, he then smashed her towards the floor which caused a huge cave in on the ground due to the impact
As if at that instant Fengris came from behind him and completely locked his arms which made Argos zoomed past the distance and struck a fist towards the unarmed part of Asuto
For the first time Asuto started to take serious damage upon the destruction of his armor, which reduced his defenses
As he crashed towards the ground dragging Fengris, he then gritted his teeth as he made his Mana explode violently which flung Fengris towards the barren plain
"Void pore's!!!"
Raising his palm he then directed all of his attack towards Argos
At the same time Belial used his magic as he attacked Asuto
"Dark Anima!!!"
As for Argos he then used his spell as he used almost everything he got towards this attack
"Calamitous Rage!!!"
As destruction occurs in a wide area, Hibiki then raised his sword once more as he covered himself with his own Mana and charged towards Asuto
"Luminous smite!!!"
While the battle raged on the side of Hibiki and the rest, Kaido on the other hand was left facing against the unknown entity that had just arrived
Unfortunately Kaido's target wasn't such unknown entity but rather Asuto himself, so instead of doing such meaningless struggle, he then instead seated unto the floor while glaring at entity
Seeing this of course caused Zerathras to have his own doubt about Kaido's intentions
"What are you playing here? Are you just gonna look at me over there without doing anything?" He asked
"If I can then why wouldn't I? I still have plans after this, I'm not planning to die yet"
Hearing that Zerathras then asked
"Does that mean that Asuto is really your target not me?"
At that moment Kaido snarled as he asked back
"Can you even be killed? You don't have a physical body, if you know how to kill yourself then please do tell"
"Your actually a very nice guy"
"Nice guy? Don't joke yourself, if I have a way to kill you now, then I would've done it a very long time ago"
Exasperated by that reply, Zerathras then shook his head in dejection
"Not even taking any praise from me... Sadly you can atleast provide trouble for me...not only you but that hero guy too, but even without my interference he will die... He's even burning his own life force just to fight my guy... In the end he will burn out"
Of course Kaido stayed nonchalant as he continued to stay silent
"Your not worried?"
"Worried? Why should I? Are we even close?... You know what? You ask too much, can you please just shut up?"
At that Zerathras couldn't help but chuckle a little as he said
"Truly pitiful"
In that instant he suddenly disappeared from his sight, which then made Kaido slowly also loose his own vision and covered his sight with darkness
Upon seeing this, Kaido then reacted to it as he looked around only to see darkness everywhere
But before he could even speak another word a sharp sting suddenly penetrated his back while grabbing unto his heart
At that moment his vision returned to him as he saw the entity right behind him
"You... "
But as he spoke Zerathras than slowly squeezed his heart as he muttered his words once more
"Truly pitiful"
Putting on more strength unto his grip, he then crushed Kaido's heart which then put Kaido infront of death's door
Unexpectedly Kaido somehow stalled sometime for him to atleast manually pump his heart using psychic inspite of being crushed
But this was only a pointless struggle as Zerathras left a handful of his own Mana on his heart to completely stall his regenerative ability
Pulling out his arm Kaido then fell unto the floor almost lifeless as he tried to atleast save himself even if the percentage of surviving was a low as it can get
Wiping off the blood on his non material arm he then glanced at Asuto as he said towards Kaido
"Maybe next time you reincarnate, you wouldn't have such pitiful fate..."
With that he left Kaido near dead, laying unto the floor with his blood pouring out from his wound
At this time Kaido kept muttering few words as he gritted his teeth in frustration
"I can't die... I can't die... I can't... Die... Not like this... I... I can't.... I can't die!!!..."

Returning towards Hibiki's side a sudden change then happened that made everyone be stunned in their place
Zerathras the entity that Asuto had freed had actually pierced the latter's heart which was very unexpected to them
Seeing that Zerathras attacked him and grabbing unto his heart as the former sucked all his power away he then asked in a horrified tone
"Why?"
Hearing that Zerathras then smiled as he said
"Thank you for your contribution"

[Enemies Left: 0]
