Chapter 355: Slaughter III

From afar place away from the main battle, Haruka suddenly scrutinized her gaze towards the screen, upon witnessing the death of three espers from the organization

Of course such an event immediately caused an alarm towards the other people present in this location

Due to that she then concluded that perhaps the remains two espers Mirai and Joe would most likely be in danger too, putting that in mind she then puts down her headset and headed out towards the direction of the remaining assault team

After all it will be a big loss for the organization if they ever lost an esper due to them being killed, such an asset and huge investment should really not be wasted

With that she then headed towards another direction as she plans to save the remaining members

On the other hand Mirai herself wasn't faring much against Fengris as she kept reproducing the characters in her imagination and hurl them towards Fengris who had completely turned into a Fenrir

Due to his strength, speed, and reflexes, even Mirai herself was having a hard time even keeping it up, especially when eveyturn that Fengris takes would literally destroy her creations

Due to that she then immediately conjured a huge combat bear infront of her to block Fengris, while having herself pull out a 200 kg hammer out of nowhere

Unfortunately Fengris immediately turned such bear into crisp upon raining it with lightning current and swiftly dodged the incoming 200 kg hammer strike

But Mirai wasn't finished yet as she produced a pair of bat wings behind her and threw her airborne, by using that advantage she then aimed once more towards Fengris as she slammed the hammer straight at him vertically

Seeing that Fengris then immediately roared so loud which blew the air around him, thus causing his attacker to be blown away along with it

Using such opportunity he then ricocheted towards her as he drilled her with two tornado like blast

"Twister!!!"

After crashing down Mirai then coughed a mouthful of breath from the impact as she glared towards Fengris with full anger

But nevertheless Fengris kept his frenzy as he made a beeline towards her slammed her body towards the nearest building, completely crushing her in between his weight and a hard object

"Ahhhhh!"

With a scream Mirai even felt her bones breaking due to such impact from that attack

By using her one free hand she then conjured a huge blade above her in order to cut Fengris down, unfortunately the latter immediately noticed such change as he immediately backed away and easily destroyed her ability once more

Using his speed as advantage he then once more ricocheted around her, thus increasing his speed before he suddenly swiped down and it off one of her arm, thus causing even more pain for his opponent

Stumbling unto the ground Mirai grasped her dismembered body part as she squeeled in pain while glaring at Fengris who was slowly approaching while still biting off her arm

Seeing his fearsome eyes even Mirai felt the fear of danger from him as she tried her best to crawl away from him

"Stay away! Stay away! Dont get near me! Help! Anyone help me! Please anyone please help me!"

But ignoring such yell fengris then lounged towards her as he bit her head off without showing any slightest of worry or hesitation

After all any enemy of a Kaido is an enemy for him, only a Calamity could understand another Calamity

Of course Mirai tried to struggle as hard as she could to get free from Fengris by clawing it out with her nails, but all of this was for naught when the latter has an amazing bite strength enough to chew a machine off

Soon after some struggling Fengris finally bit off her neck, leaving only a headless body lying on the floor

But before he could away from that spot he suddenly felt a presence approaching his way, due to that he then sent an enormous killing intent on his surroundings to warn the incoming presence

Coincidentally Haruka was running towards Mirai's location in order to get her out of harm, unfortunately when she was about a few meters far from her location, she suddenly felt an ominous presence surrounding the area which seemed to warn her about a horrifying predator lurking in that direction

Upon noticing that she then sent out a telepathic message towards Mirai in order to know whether she was still alive, sadly no response ever came, thus indicating that the esper Mirai was dead

Conflicted with her emotions Haruka then clicked her tongue as she goes away and headed straight towards Joe's location instead while hurrying up in order to retrieve him alive

At this moment some bystanders hid from different places, while bravely recording such fight between Joe and Argos

As they were watching this, they somehow felt pity towards the male esper from the organization cause of this one sided battle

In this battle Joe was completely in the disadvantageous side as he stumbled back, crashed, blown away, and even break some of its bones

Undeniably his opponent was so strong enough that he wasn't as much entertainment to Argos

A mere boastful esper who wasn't even at the level of calamity dares to be arrogant infront of Argos, due to that he was toyed by such a person so easily that he could have wished that he was dead instead

After crashing down after getting bump on the pipe rail, Joe then arched up in pain as he wobbled to stand up straight from the pain

Glaring towards Argos he could see his opponents monstrous silhouttes as his arms changed into scaled claws, his whole body became scaled fit that is as hard an advance tank, and wings scaling to a full length of 8 feet

Such monstrous appearance was almost comparable to what a dragonnewt would look like, but for Joe who doesn't even knew what a dragonnewt was, all he could muster up in his mind was that Argos looked like a monster in a human form

"God dammit!!! Die!!!"

Gritted his teeth he then flared up his surroundings as he shoots it all out towards Argos with bloodshot eyes and instincts to fight back from its predator

But such a thing was like nothing towards Argos, thus with a flap from his wings he then easily blocked such attack which immediately froze his wings, but in a moments time by using his strength he immediately destroyed the ice restraining his wings as if it was paper

Seeing that even more fear filled Joe's eyes as he panicked and shots out more of his abilities towards Argos, unfortunately the latter immediately vanished from his place like an air and arrived right infront of Joe

Due to that instantaneous movement Joe once more dropped on his butt as he was really filled with fear

"Damnit!!!!...."

As he shouted this to fire himself up more, Argos then swiftly took ahold of his head and smashed it down towards the railing causing his death

Seeing someone gets killed, many bystanders who were brave ought to record such a thing, immediately fled from the scene upon witnessing a murder

Soon scream filled the air as they ran away from Argos

With that subject no. 091, 092, 093, 094, and 095 was completely annihilated by Kaido and his group

On the other hand from far away from them, Haruka received an immediate retreat afyer explaining the details that both Mirai and Joe's life signals have vanished thus indicating that they were dead

With sour expression Haruka Immediately heeded such instructions and retreated immediately back towards the logistics, while indicating the operation as failure

As for Aaron himself when he recived such an order he was already glaring down towards Kaido who seemed to immersed with his killing spree that he started to laugh hysterically

"Ahahahahahaha!!! A bunch of weakling!!! Did you see their fear? Anguish? Suffering? Ahahahaha! They dare boast right infront of me and yet they flee from me the moment they saw their disadvantages!!! What a joke! Ahahahahaha!!!"

After seeing Kaido's state like that Aaron immediately concluded that the enhancement experiment that they conducted towards Kaido in Hokkaido was so cruel and forceful that it literally broke him, this resulting to his behavior change

At that he then knew that the Kaido he once knew was already dead as it was replced by this blood crazed maniac

So with that he immediately fled from that place which resulted to Kaido sensing his escape

"Fleeing? Even you? Why don't you play with me?

In that instant Kaido raises his arm towards Aaron as he slowly mutters

"Grab!!!"

In that moment a heavy pressure dawned upon Aaron causing him to be restrained in his place

"Twist!!!" Said kaido as he turned his wrist

This time the whole building that Aaron was standing upon completely crumbled from that pressure while involving a lot of civilians

"Ignite!!!"

Upon saying that the whole building exploded in flames, thus killing more innocent civilians who were inside the building

Unfortunately a burst of light suddenly pierced the building causing Aaron to come out from that wreckage as he brought some people out with him

Sadly he wasn't able to save all of them, thus making his sour

Within his command he 6hen conjured a lot of streak of lights and threw them towards Kaido in a frenzied mode

But upon seeing that Kaido raises his arm and immediately countered them with a black flame eruption around his palm, completely eradicating the light

Seeing that Kaido started to get serious by revealing his black flames, Aaron once more heeded the retreat order and try to escape, of course Kaido wouldn't just let him escape

But unfortunately the police came in that location as they rushed out from their vehicles and pointed their guns towards Kaido

"Freeze!"

"Do not move or else we'll fire!!!"

Realizing that distraction Kaido generated a high frequency wind blade and instantly threw them towards Aaron, causing his left arm to be decapitated

With a scream Aaron stared at his arm falling to the ground as he gritted his teeth in pain

Weighing the pros and cons for retrieving his arm, he then chose to leave it behind in order to get away from Kaido

"Damnit! I'll remember this!!!"

Seeing his relentless flee, Kaido the decided to pursue him, unfortunately the police immediately fired the moment he moved his hand, causing raging gunshots to fill the air

Soon after a heli then arrived as they scoped down towards him, all ofbthem were forces from the police, thus indicating that he was dangerous

While blocking their bullets, he then felt irritated by such act as he immediately waved his hand to cuase various pipeline to explode and release a huge torrent of water

Using such water he then formed a huge wall of it and slam it towards the police causing major explosions cause of its weight

Some of them even screamed in pain, but nevertheless the gunshot continued as soon the water dissipated

At this moment Kaido created a fissure wave towards them, causing the whole ground to collapse and even swift up some dust and smoke to provide cover

Filled with exhilaration he then started his mass spree as he destroyed the heli above him while killing some cops along the way

Gunshots, screams, and blood filled the air as they engaged against Kaido, who lost himself in bloodlust

At that moment when he was in the middle of his killing spree, Ayame instantly called out his name, causing Kaido to stop on his tracks and somehow ragained his sanity

"Kaido!!!"

Hearing that Kaido slightly stutter as he glanced towards Ayame as he immediately was able to think clear once

In that instant he then started to retreat while taking ahold of her and fleeing from the scene

He has exposed way too much

Not long after such major incident once more reached the news as the media called out for this incident regarding espers thus raising their disfavorability towards them to an even new level
