Chapter 379: Unfulfilled Promise

[Shibuya]

Soon after in an unfinished construction site which seldomly visited by a group of night thugs, the space around it suddenly distorted as the thugs of the area soon got attracted by this weird phenomenon

Of course filled with arrogance and curiosity, some group of thugs then came before this distorted place, alongside of their homies and some gals that they just picked up from the streets

Of course such gals were neither innocent nor bad, since most of them really hang out by the night which such suspicious group of people

All in all they numbered about 23 male thugs and about 6 girls

Two of the girls among the 6 of them were on both side of the leader of the group, having its wide broad arms wrapped around the two of them

Seeing the commotion some of the leader or boss over them suddenly asked, while acting all smug and brave infront of the beautiful ladies on his arms

"Whats with all this commotion?"

Hearing his voice, some of his men then cried out

"Boss the space here feels weird!"

"The only explanation of such phenomenon happening here must be the worl of some espers who is currently hiding here boss!"

With that report he then mumbled

"Hiding espers? We could fetch them for a high price! We can sell them to the big guys if its a male, but if its a female... we truly have to check it thoroughly for safety measures"

Hearing their boss remark, many of the thugs begun to laugh wildly, as some of them begun sneering

Alongside that they started to have some fantasies over it, either if its sexually or the amount of money they will get upon purchase

With that in their mind which pre-occupied all of their thoughts, they didn't even notice a crack in the space as two horrendous black long claws stretched out from the darkness and took ahold of the head of two thugs near it

In an instant the joyous cheers from everyone halted as they stared shock at the two long clawed hands holding up two of their companions

Instead of being vigilant and angry due to the fact that their companions were being held up by the head, all the thugs then started shivering all over as a demonic figure had taken shape upon exiting the spice distortion

Soon with black wings spreading out from his back, black hair covering its murderous eyes, and white canine teeth smiling at them as if they are prey, Belial soon emerge out of the space as it revealed its full self

"Who did you say that you were gonna sell?"

Upon hearing them all ofbtheir eyes present, suddenly constricted into dot as they started shivering in fear all over, as for the others that were close to Belial, they couldn't even get ahold of themselves as their legs actually gave out

With a shivering voice, one of them called out

"A... a demon! Its a demon!"

Upon hearing that Belial simply smiled at the owner of the voice as he answered

"Yes! I'm a demon! Is this the first time you've seen an actual one in flesh?"

Upon hearing what he said, bedlam broke loose as many of them started to flee, but before they could do such a thing, a terrifying pressure enveloped them as they couldn't even escape such pressure

Upon feeling that pressure, some brave souls soon turned back towards the source only to see another figure showing up beside Belial

Not only that but multiple more people showed up behind the demon, but the leading of all was Kaido who was in all black causing his red eyes to shine brightly from the darkness around him

"Belial! Kill all of them! Leave not even a spill of their blood... cause if you do, you know the consequence"

Upon hearing that bone chilling command, all the thugs and the girls with them started shivering in fright

On the other hand instead of feeling being scared, Belial simply nodded as he crushed the skull of two thugs he was holding up high

After that he threw their corpses away as he dashed forward and begun his mass murder, as for their blood they were soon burned away by Belial's mana into nothingness

In the end all 23 thugs and 6 girls died that night, without any fighting chance

After awhile of that event, as everything was cleaned, everyone then came out fully from the space distortion and came back to Kaido's world

At this moment after they settled down Kaido begun giving out instructions towards them

"All of you guys except for Ayame can go now! Head straight to my apartment, Ingrid can lead you the way... also since we're quite big for a group now... do some modifications and apply some space magic to expand the room on the inside"

Upon hearing that everyone then headed towards the designated location under the lead of Ingrid

As for Ayame who was left alone with Kaido, they then headed back towards her house while having the latter going with her for assurance

Along they way both of them seldomly talked with each other, which then filled their short trip with majority of its silence

Soon after they finally arrived back infront of her house as Kaido seemingly observed the surroundings

Seeing that she got home Ayame then turned towards Kaido as she said

"Thanks for bringing me home! This reminds me of the old times"

Hearing that Kaido simply shrugged it as he replied

"No need for thanks! But on the other hand I'm grateful"

With that Ayame smiled as she suddenly asked

"Can't you even remember a portion of our past?"

"Nope! Not yet! The only thing I can remember is meeting you in this timeline, as for our past... nothing much to say there"

At that Ayame smiled before turning towards the entrance of her home, but before she could enter their premises Kaido suddenly blurted out

"I'll be waiting for you tomorrow! By the station 10am! You can think of it as a date, but its just my appreciation for trying to help me despite the point that I really don't need it"

Hearing that Ayame couldn't help whether to smile in happiness or smile in awkwardness due to Kaido's sudden add ons

"You know! You could've just leave the last one out!"

But instead of receiving a serious reply, all she received was a short response from Kaido before he plunged back into  the dark road

"I'll be waiting!"

With that Ayame showed a gentle smile as she headed straight in towards her home

[Shibuya Station]

The very next day, after everything settles down and all damages that was left in Tokyo was paid for by the organization higher ups

Every issue that was concerning what happened in Tokyo few days ago was immediately censored by the very organization and was pass out as a terrorist attack

Due to that not much issue was brought up in this

Luckily by the time Kaido and his group returned to his world, few days have passed since then because of the difference in time intervals kaido took upon distorting the place and time of return

At this moment Kaido was waiting by the place in Shibuya station as he was currently wearing an tight fitted black polo shirt and black slim pants with its black shoes

Aside from that his style also include having its sleeves up to its elbows, with its upper button of the polo shirt opened up

All in all he was a man in black which gave off a hunk vibe and mysterious one

Due to that various female group and some girls with their boyfriends, couldn't help checking him out

After all paired with his black attire, his red eyes shone the brightest as it allures any type of women no matter its age

At this moment Ayame finally arrived by the station while wearing a white shirt and a white skirt reaching up to its knees, along with a pink top vest on top of her shirt

Even her hair was trimmed beautifully as she did a ponytail styled hair

Due to that she was quite cute and attractive with that clothing paired with her white heels

Even other men ogled at her, but despite that charm Kaido who seemed completely opposite of her in terms of aura, just gently smiled at her before meeting up

"You look good!" Said Kaido

"Well you look quite dashing! I never knew that various black suited design suites you more" complimented Ayame

"Is that so? Well I never lack fashion" smirked Kaido

Hearing that bold claim Ayame then simply smiled as she punched his elbow

After that short exchange both Kaido and Ayame then entered the station as they rode the train towards the specific location Kaido had in mind

In his thought Kaido was planning to head at one of the amusement park in Tokyo which named as Tokyo City Dome

With that they traveled from Shibuya to Shinjuku as they exited by then and took a taxi towards the Tokyo City Dome

Of course both Kaido and Ayame spend their travel in a casual manner as they talked throughout their journey

But since both of them were too high profile not only in their aura but also appearance, most people they pass by were somewhat caught by their allure

[Tokyo City Dome]

It didn't take long for them to arrive in their location as they saw various rides around the area

Especially the bigger ones such as ferris wheel, roller coaster, vikings, along side that even the small ones and the aquatic rides can also be seen through their advertisement and some hand outs that they distributed around

With excitement filled her eyes, Ayame couldn't help it anymore as she shriek in delight and pulled Kaido towards the rides, upon entering the place

Just like that they spend their whole day enjoying their time in the amusement park, one couldn't even imagine just how much happy was Ayame just by spending her time together with Kaido

After all such moment really reminded her of the past day before the organization found out that he was an expert and even before all this commotion

Upon remembering those joyful days, Ayame couldn't help but tear up a little as she enjoyed her time together with Kaido

With no other events happening that day, both Kaido and Ayame enjoyed the rest of their so called date

By the time when the sky went dark they then headed back towards their home as Kaido naturally brought her to her parents house

As they approached her house Ayame then smiled brightfully towards Kaido as she said

"I've had fun! I really enjoyed this day"

Hearing that Kaido smiled back

"Me too! In fact I enjoyed it, I never thought that your going to be a happy go lucky type of girl!"

"Ehehe! It's just that easy to make me happy" replied Ayame shyly

"Is that so? Then im grateful that im such a good guy in making the day fun"

Hearing that Ayame chuckled as she then glanced towards Kaido

"Kaido!"

"!!!"

"Even thought you can't remember our past! I'll make sure to treasure my time with you, till the end of my days... I'll never ever forget about you Kaido, cause for me... your already part of my life"

Of course upon hearing that, Kaido was completely stunned as he suddenly saw Ayame approached him and kissed him by the cheeks

With a cheeky look Ayame entered her house as she promised never to forget him

But although such a thing can make anyone happy, Kaido on the other hand felt guilty all of the sudden as he felt pity for her

After contemplating for awhile Kaido went back to his house without further ado

By the moment he got home, Ayame on the other hand was happily laying on her bed as she started to go to sleep

By that time Kaido grit his teeth as he called out to Calamity

"Calamity! Do it! Erase our existence! Its time to make our move, we'll surely corner them"

Hearing that Calamity replied

(Are you sure? But that Ayame girl would forget you cmbecause of this, despite that you still want to go on with this plan?)

After pausing for a bit Kaido answered

"Do it! A small price to pay for victory!"

With a sigh Calamity then started erasing Kaido and his companions existence, with an intent of keeping the organization in the dark by cutting off their loose ends

In that moment everyone that ever known them except for the organization members, had completely forgotten of their existence, including Ayame herself whom kaido excluded from their group

The very next day as Ayame got up from her bed waking up in that delightful moment, she suddenly teared up for some reason as she couldn't remember what happened the day before and the days she was with Kaido

In shock she suddenly wondered why she suddenly cried for no reason, but no matter if her memories forgot about Kaido, her body never did, due to that she unconsciously cried cause of that moment where she felt she lost something very important to her
