Chapter 439: The Dungeon That Connects The Borders VIII

[Unranked Dungeon]

Black holes are among the most destructive objects in the universe. Anything that gets too close to a black hole, be it an asteroid, planet, or star, risks being torn apart by its extreme gravitational field. With such destructive mini black hole at it's disposal, Kaido launched it forward as anything that the black hole touches begun to get eradicated into nothingness.

Such destructive force was naturally felt by Goetia, the final boss of the dungeon, the moment it entered its own domain. The moment he felt its  approaching presence, the final boss then turned towards the direction of the black hole and begun to do something new in account to the destructive force.

 Without any words, a huge eye opened up on its palm as it spewed out a type of red energy, which soon formed into a energy shield of red which primary objective is to protect Goetia himself. After that more eyes opened on the slits at the back of its hand up to its arm, as it begun gathering energy unto the shield which made the barrier to become even bigger and stronger than before.

Not long after Goetia had done this, the black hole finally crashed unto the energy shield as two force begun fighting against each other with different primary objective. One was to protect and deflect, while the other was for eradication. However contending with a mini black hole is no joke at all. Despite the energy shield being tough and durable, such trait is nothing in front of the black hole as it slowly eradicate the energy itself and begun sucking out the red light.

No matter of light nor power could escape a black hole. So once Goetia realized that its effort was slowly being made into futile. It then changed its strategy in dealing with the black hole and attempted to gather energy unto its chest in an attempt to enact an explosion which is powerful enough to disrupt the gravitational force of a black hole

For the first time since in a while everyone saw the final boss struggling to keep the attack at bay, which hope soon filled their heart with hope upon seeing the final boss giving its all just to contend against the attack made by Kaido himself. On the other hand, the moment they realized that such an attack that could contend against a final boss was made by a single player, many organization begun to take interest towards Kaido as greed filled their minds with the thought of monopolizing such power.

Unknown to the populace some hidden forces begun moving in the shadows in an attempt to monopolize Kaido for themselves. Money, power, fame was no problem for them, however none of them knew that Kaido wants nothing of such sort but just a way to get back home.

Going back to the event inside the dungeon, a huge explosion which shook the whole dungeon itself had unfolded which caused even the whole group of players to stumble on the ground and take cover from the violent quake that simultaneously happened at the same time. The explosion was so strong that it had built up smoke and energy into the air, which soon formed another explosion which further elevate the destruction of the dungeon.

In that moment a huge gust of wind and rocks swept the whole players group and had completely changed the terrain itself.

Half of the forest was destroyed, some of the rock towers fell down, the ground itself had burst out into rupture, all manners of water near the explosion had been dried out, and lastly a brewing storm formed over the domain as cackling of lightning and thunder soared through the sky. Not long after rained poured down heavily as everyone begun to take shelter under the trees of tents in order to prevent themselves from getting wet by the rain.

As for the other stubborn players, they stood under the rain as they watched the broadcast and witness the whole event. Due to the sudden changed in the weather, the system accommodated everyone with their personal broadcast screen in order to show everyone what was happening inside the boss domain.

In exchange for the destruction of the black hole, everything was destroyed and devastated. Except for the alter and the gate which is had no scratch at all, everything was unrecognizable. That just the aftermath of what Goetia had to do in order to destroy a mini incomplete black hole. At the same time this just shows just how strong Kaido is. Better yet this will be the first time Kaido will show his full strength to the whole world if given a chance.

What's more Goetia himself lost an arm in the exchange which showed just how destructive the black hole is.

However the thrill end there, as if not letting the boss take any breather, Goetia then felt a presence looming above him, as it darted its eyes upward and saw Kaido floating up in the air and looking down on him like some kind of a god. Upon seeing that Kaido was already in front of the boss, all the players gathered outside the boss domain were then shocked to see him arrived at the boss location in a blink of an eyes and begun to dart their eyes towards the previous location where Kaido had just fired off his attack.

He was too fast, none of then noticed that Kaido had moved from his spot and towards the boss itself. While everyone was pre-occupied on their screens, Kaido was already in front of the boss, which also shocked Goetia himself. Never did the boss expect that the enemy was near him and was watching him struggle to defend from his attack all this time. For the first time since forever, Goetia felt disrespected.

Even though he can't say it in words, Goetia now held Kaido in contempt from looking down on him, both figuratively and literally.

While floating down under then heavy rain, Kaido magnified his voice as he called out Goetia.

"Looks like you lost an arm, quite tough being a PWD isn't it?"

Upon hearing that mockery, Goetia glared towards Kaido as he used a small amount of its mana in order to reconstruct its arm into a brand new piece in just a blink of an eye. Of course this surprised Kaido, but not to the point of being petrified in shock.

"I see... instant regeneration, i really hope all PWD have that privilege"

As Kaido was slowly descending from the sky, everyone heard his shit talk against the final boss of the unranked dungeon since this whole event itself was being broadcasted to everyone in the city. Of course they were shocked by the initial attack done by Kaido that was strong enough to blow up the arm of Goetia, but the following shit talk was even more surprising since no one even imagined that someone would really try to taunt a dungeon boss before.

Unknown to them, the next thing they will witness would literally blow their perception in the power scaling of the players and monsters.

The moment Kaido's toe touched the ground, Goetia's eyes squint hard, as it suddenly blinked right in front of him, and gave him a devastating first punch. For the first time in a while the boss itself had taken its first step against the enemy. Alongside it, this only strengthens the fact that Kaido held that much of a threat against its existence so Goetia has no choice but to take his existence seriously.

In response to this, Kaido immediately erected his psychic barrier which fully blocked the initial punch launched by Goetia, while quickly countering with a low gut punch. But as soon as his punch made contact with the enemy, Kaido realized that Goetia had caught his attack, as it begun to tighten its grip and threw him over its shoulder and unto the huge stone pillar behind it.

As Kaido crushed unto that stone pillar, Goetia blinked in front of him once more as the ye on it palm opened wide and begun to emit red mana energy, which it used to form into a time of a mana glove. enhanced with this type of mana glove which adds on unto its punching power, Goetia then p8unched straight unto Kaido's barrier which caused the latter to crashed unto the ground back first from the force of the attack alone.

However due to Kaido's barrier, such an attack didn't managed to get through his defenses as he was literally left unscathed from that attack. But despite that Goetia was relentless, as the eyes in its arms opened up and emitted red man, which it used to cover its whole arm, before smashing it down towards Kaido.

In response to that Kaido has no choice but to take a huge leap back with the assistance from air boost on the sole of his foot, before he created wind spear out of the air in the atmosphere and threw it towards Goetia while retreating.

But such an attack didn't fade Goetia at all as the eyes on its shoulder open up and begun to shoot out dozen of homing laser towards him. Two lasers were used to take down the wind spear, while the remaining ten were used to zigzagged their way towards Kaido and follow him till it gets hit.

Sensing that dodging the spear was useless, Kaido quickly gathered stones in front of him to form a mobile barrier, before he consciously transformed the stones into diamonds which caused the laser to get redirected unto other target the moment it hits the surface of a refracted diamond. Its just a simple way to redirect light that was often demonstrated in science projects. Since lasers are a type of light attribute attack, refracting them was quite easy thing to do.

The only tricky stunt here is that the lasers itself are homing type attack, so in order for him to successfully retract them, he will have to refract them using diamonds at the very last moment to offset its homing capabilities. 

But while Kaido just finished redirecting the attack, Goetia suddenly blinked behind him, as it pulled up an enhanced mana glove punch attack and aimed at his side. In just one impact, a huge explosion rung out as its shockwave shook the atmosphere and caused the wind itself to drawback.

But before Goetia could lament on that successful unsuspecting attack, it then realized that Kaido was able to block it by concentrating his psychic barrier to his sides, while implanting his foot unto the ground by using the very earth itself to hold him down like an anchor. While Goetia was slightly surprised by that maneuver, Kaido quickly pinned down Goetia's arm by using air anchor to held it in place, while he quickly grabbed one of the transformed diamond and shape shift it into a  sharp edged diamond knife.

Using that diamond knife, he then stabbed Goetia's cheeks with such an attack, followed by an electrified enhanced back kick which knocked back Goetia's head back and further deepen the stab on its cheeks.

Of course Goetia tried to fight back after getting kicked in the head, but Kaido was too nimble as he easily dodged the attack and begun drilling him with multiple close quarter combo while dodging its hand.

In that moment when Kaido was about to throw in a strong punch, Goetia managed to anticipate such an attack, as it was able to catch its wrist, before the huge eye on it's chest opened up and released a powerful laser which blew back Kaido and made him crash a miles away through multiple layers of stone towers.

With Kaido blown away from the distance, Goetia then finally destroyed the wind anchor that was holding down it dominant arm, as he stood up and pulled out the diamond knife from its cheeks before crushing it into pieces with no hesitation at all. Since Goetia is a special type of monster, it naturally doesn't feel pain at all, as it also doesn't bleed from any form of attack.

After pulling out the diamond knife and crushing it, all of its injuries then quickly regenerated as his whole body was back to its perfect state as if everything that Kaido did was meaningless. After taking its and it then opened up all the eyes in both of its arm, as red mana begun to surge all over his body like a torrent of water.

At the same time from afar, Kaido slowly stood up as he touched his chest and somewhat reliving the feeling of getting hit by a laser to his chest in point blank range. Event though he wasn't injured by that level of attack, he somewhat felt the pain from the impact itself  which caused him to get excited for this battle

Even from afar Kaido could feel the threatening aura, as he also begun to slowly get serious as he gathered lightning and electricity from the atmosphere and ground itself and redistribute the energy throughout his body. Due to that all of his hair stood up from that electrifying energy as his whole body started to glow from this type of light elemental power

At the same time he then raised up his hand unto the air, as he raised a hundred of golems from the ground in between him and Goetia, before commanding all of them to attack the target enemy itself.

Under his command all the earthen golem rushed towards Goetia full of killing intent as they mob him like a specific world boss. In response to this Goetia rushed forward to meet the enemy as it begun its rampage and destroyed a three or two golems under just a few seconds.

Even though the golems didn't stood a chance, they did everything they could to hold the boss monster down even if it meant  that they will get destroyed in the end. Some attacked from above, some attacked from below, and some attacked from the front. But despite their overwhelming number, they didn't stand a minute long against the boss monster as they get destroyed at the very next second.

While the golems are occupying Goetia's attention, Kaido gathered the electrifying energy unto the tip of his fingers, as he plans to produce a rail gun which was strong enough to melt anything it pass through and possibly penetrate through the dragon scale like body of the boss monster and give it a fatal wound. However gathering energy for a rail gun takes such a long time to charge, so that is the reason why Kaido manifested a hundred of golem to attack Goetia itself.

Under a minute and a half when Goetia even utilized his lasers to strike down multiple golems at the same time, it then manage to destroy 98 of the golem, leaving two golems who are quite different from the rest. In comparison to other golems who had a simple design like a puppet, this remaining two golems have an intricate design of a knight with weapons like halberd and sword in their hands

Without any words, it then charged forward and fought with this two golems in a hard fight and only managed to take them down under two minutes. All in all it took the final boss 3 minutes and a half just to destroy all 100 golems.

As if that wasn't enough, a huge tempest hand fell down from the sky, as it formed into a fist as if the very wind god itself had manifested into the world in order to land an attack unto the demon god itself.

The sheer size of the attack was incomparable to the previous attack itself, the size itself is about 410 feet in width. it was so wide that one had to use a movement spell just to dodge it from its attack radius and come out unscathed. However Goetia has no plans to just simply dodge the attack, so gathering red mana unto its palm followed by 50% of all the eyes in its body opening up, it then begun to gather energy at the very tip of its hand and produced a laser like an attack which was slightly smaller that the attack that was falling down the sky.

The moment two powers collided, a another huge explosion rung out which blew away the very wind itself and momentarily stop the light rain. However following after that, a heavy rain ensued as it poured hard unto the earth in response to the violent attack that had just happened. With this hard rain, it then somewhat obscured Goetia's sight, as it squinted its eyes while trying to find Kaido's whereabouts 

But before it could fully examine its surroundings, Goetia then felt a cold touch on its back, as it felt a dangerous energy lurking behind it as it eyes darted behind it. In that moment it then saw Kaido smiling menacingly, as his attack was fully ready for its launch.

"Boom!"

under that one guise, the rail gun was fully fire off in point blank range in its blind spot which blew away everything it its path and even somewhat scattered the heavy rain that was falling from the sky. Due to its power the sound itself came a little bit late, as the shockwave blew away the surroundings and destroyed everything in sight.

Since this was broadcasted to everyone in the city and all the by standing players, this sort of a 1 on 1 battle was quite unprecedented as they kept getting shocked one after another.

They were shocked on how fast Goetia was, they were shocked by how much strength it can allotted on its body, they were shock on how fast Kaido was able to transform a element into a different property, they were shocked by how proficient Kaido was on hand to hand combat despite being a psychic, they were shocked by the summoning of hundred of golems itself, they were shocked by Goetia's strength and destructiveness, they were shocked by the huge attack from above, they were shocked by Goetia's counter using a magnified power, and they were shocked by the rail gun that blasted off everything in its path.

It was one after another of shocking feat that their minds cant easily comprehend and only show amazement and shock. They thought that this 1 on 1 would be a massacre, never in their wildest dream would they witness a brawl in this level in a one on one confrontation.
