Once More

"Let her be, Legionnaire."

Karodin looked up at the speaker.

A dark-haired man sat upon a mossy ledge.

He slid down the steep side of the cliff, the blue wings on his back splayed out. Once he hit the ground, he made a smooth transition into a casual walk.

"The priestess fights in her own way," he said, "as will we."

Karodin shifted his weight, admiring the taller man's attire.

Instead of wearing Tyrion armor like everyone else, he was dressed in something more suitable for a gladiator match.

That made it easy to confirm his identity.

"And what about you, Avenger Maximus?" Karodin said with a smirk. "You must have also had a history with the tactician."

"I said what I needed to say... a long time ago," Maximus said. "And he has allies enough... Karodin, Shield of Aethra."
