I'm so disappointed that Gideon did not show up for my rehearsal. Adrian must have noticed my sullen mood because he offered to stay with me tonight. But I wasn't in the mood for company. At this moment, I'm lying in my bed listening to music in hopes of lightening my mood. When I got my room, I took off all of my clothes and slipped into my white nightshirt. However, as the evening progresses, I can't help but hope that I will see Gideon tonight. I look at my phone's screen, hoping that he'd call, but it just feels as if the blank screen is quietly mocking me when it doesn't. It also doesn't help that after I texted him earlier, he never called or texted me back. Resigned, I reach for my cell phone and open one of my Kindle books. I guess it's my book boyfriend and me tonight.
