Micah and I meet up in front of Cameron's house. I dropped Jade off at Adrian's apartment earlier. He wasn't very happy to see me, which makes me admire him for his loyalty to the woman I love. 


I smile, recalling his words when I walked into the apartment. Adrian was just coming out of his bedroom. "Jade honey, are you okay? Don't ever disappear like that on me, girl…" 


Jade is about to answer, but Adrian is too worked up to finish. "Nuh-uh, honey. A text does not count. You know how shocked I was when I got that text last night. With Gideon, talk later. No honey. Next time you call me." 


Jade nods her head, hugs him, and kisses his cheek. "Sorry, Adrian. I promise to call next time." 


Adrian places his hand on his waist, waving her words away. "Mm... You better, girl." He says with a raised brow.
