Alone and Lonesome ー Part 4

The girl than wore her red uniform, while the boy sat on the shore of the lake throwing rocks in the water.

"That uniform....Are you a parasite too?", she asked as she pulled her long pink hair pwut of her cloths and buttoned her dress.

"No", was the reply from the boy.

"So you don't pilot?", She asked again. "I can't pilot", he replied and the girl turned towards him while he was playing with the rock in his hand.

"I no longer have the ability", He added," I even dragged my partner with me", he said, guilt filling in his eyes as he looked down and threw the rock in the water making the sound, 'Splash'.

"I don't have a place here anymore".

"Huh. So you're just like me", The girl started now and the boy looked back at her, confused. She was wearing a white band on her horns. As she wore It, they got fixed with her horns and a green light lit.

"I'm always alone. Thanks to these horns", She said and than placed her hand on her waist and looked at him. "If you don't belong here, just build a place where you do", she encouraged him as she gave him the soft smile and it made him stare at her before he looked down again.

"If you don't have a partner, just find another", she stated.

And after that she moved her hands up making them in a way like she was going to hold him abruptly and said," And if you can't...

She than came forward and hovered over him, circling his neck from her hand and said," Take one by force...

She than licked his cheek and the boy fell on the ground, and half in the water, taking the girl on top of him with him. His expression showed his anxiousness which was at the peek from the girl's action. And in the next moment, they were lying in the water. The girl's hands on either side of the boy's face besides his ears, and his leg in between her legs as he was still processing what had happened just a minute ago.

The girl's face was near his ear as she spoke near his ear," Wow, your taste makes my heart race".

She than slowly rose and looked in his deep blue eyes back.

"It bites and lingers...

Looking in his eyes she said," The taste of danger".

"Wh-What are you...

"Would you have preferred a kiss?", She asked him tilting her head at him.

"A kiss?", The boy was confused, and looked at her dazzling face with a lot of questions in his dark blue orbs.

"Oh, you guys don't know, Huh?", She said.

She than leaned forward and whispered into his ear.

"It's a very special thing", she said and than stood up still looking at his confused face she added," I think I've taken a liking to you".

"Won't you be my Darling?",

"D-Darling? You mean partner?", He asked as he too stood up and looked at her. She lifted her hand at his direction to help him get up as she spoke," Your ability's probably just still dormant". Her other hand resting on her waist.

"I can awaken it for you". She spoke softly looking down.

"And you weren't frightened by my horns", she said.

"When she held out that hand"

He also lifted his hand up to hold her.

When she retreated it.

"Too bad" She started.

"Time's up", saying that she turned around and the boy too followed her gaze. Code 081 with the security guards was there, coming in their way, as he spoke," We've been looking for you".

The girl quitely looked at him while he approached her.

"Why do you keep running off alone?", He asked as he stopped in front of her. She too turned towards him.

"It's not like there's anything else to do until tomorrow's welcoming ceremony", She said and the man put the cap on her head while she stared at him

"Well, as your partner, I'm the one who suffers for it", he said.

The boy than stood up straight and looked at them confused. "Partner?", he said and the man looked at him.

"Are you a parasite cadet? Your welcoming ceremony's tomorrow, Right?", He asked while the bald bodyguard put her coat on her shoulders.

"Sorry she bothered you", He apologized as the girl turned a little back. "It's okay... The boy said as he looked down.

After thinking for sometime he looked up at the man and asked," Um, what did you meant by "Partner?", he asked.

"Let me give you some advise... the man started.

"Stay far away from her", He finished his adivisory and before leaving he added," She's not the kind of Pistil that just anyone can handle". The boy was still staring at them when he stiffened his shoulders and yelled.

"Your name?",

And all of them halted in their steps.

"What's your name?", He asked again and this time she turned her head a little. "Name?", She said.

"Do we parasites even have names?", She asked while the boy kept staring at her and after hearing her last line he was a little surprised but than he looked down.

"But, well, my code is 002", she told.

"Everyone calls me Zero Two", She said before leaving.

"So you're the same as me", She said.

He had another message by than, 'Mistilteinn's issued a search request for you'

"Getting kicked for my lack of a partner would be one thing

"But the fact that there was still a part of me that hoped for one

made me feel pathetic and ashamed of myself"

"I'm all to aware"

He stopped as his eyes got wide seeing the same bird lying on the grass lifeless, blood scattered all around.

"That a flightless bird had nowhere to go".
