All the adults were watching the new cadets using their telescopes and the new childens were also watching them happily.

Zorome who was staring back and forth between Papa and all the adults with his Anticipating eyes tilted his head back looked at Futoshi and said," Look at all those adults".

§§ Zorome §§

Zorome is a former parasite with codename "666" of the Thirteenth Plantation, where he is partnered in a boy-girl pair with Miku to pilot a FranXX called Argenta.

Aside from being the most immature member of the squad, he is the most loyal to the adults and APE, and his long-reaching goal is to become an adult himself. He presenta himself as somwwhat of a bully pervert but he is also a dedicated member of the Squad and willing to do whatever it takes to help his squadmates.

Zorome has purple eyes and unruly light brown hair which flares out on the side and on the back. He has long bangs which mostly covers his forehead. On top of his head, he has an ahoge. Standing at 161 cm, he was originally the shortest stamen of thirteenth plantation.

Zorome is often short-tempered and impulsive, similar to his partner Miku and he prones to make mistakes when he gets agitated or excited. He also enjoys starting arguments especially with his own squad mates to boast he is better than any of them. He is very sarcastic amd has a strong ego, as he uses any opportunity he can to prove that is better than the 'Double Digits' that seems to be considered as the 'Elites', when it comes to being parasites. He longs to be adult and greatly looks up to them and Papa.

He has a perverted side towards girls, especially when it comes to Miku, but he lacks to to see the need to have relationship with a female beyond piloting. Despite his immaturity and impulsiveness, Zorome truly cares about his friends and will do anything to protect them from harm.

§§ Miku §§

Miku is a former parasite with codename "390" of the thirteenth plantation, where she is partnered in a boy-girl pair pair with Zorome to pilot a FranXX called Argentea.

She is the most assertive and head-strong of the girls and is not afraid to clash with the boys. She is motivated to strive and she shares an attitude almost identical to Zorome's, which makes them perfectly compatible. Miku is a petite girl with auburn red hairs and sea blue eyes. Her hairs is done up in girlish pigtails, more commonly referred to as "Twintails", with a smal cowlick at the top of her head. She wears the standard pistil parasite uniform and when piloting Argentea, Miku wears a. white bodysuit with pink accents.

Miku is confident, Blunt, spunky, and outspoken girl who tents to lash out at others if their personal habits bothers her. She is generally motivated and strives to prove herself, a trait she shares with Zorome through his immaturity often irritates her to no end. She is very prideful of her appearance and refers to herself in third person, which gives her a "Cute" impression. Like Kokoro, she has a fondness for flowers and loves making flower crowns.

Despite her assertiveness and brashness, Miku is compassionate and friendly with her squadmates.

§§ Papa §§

Papa is the chairman of the APE council and by extension all of known humanity. He is religiously revered by the parasites as God, with the exception of Zero Two. He works in conjuntion with the rest of the APE to ensure that plantation run smoothly and that they are not harmed by Kalaxours. He also is incharge of all individuals, all plantations and FranXX units: What happens to them is almost always result of his decisions.

Papa wears white robs adorned with golden detailing and red interior. Like all members of the APE council, Papa wears a golden masks, which has red eyes, that has characteristic of a monkey species; his mask resembles that if a gorilla, which is befitting for him, as he is the chairman of the APE. His outfit bears a resemblance to the traditional attire of the Pope of the Catholic church.

His true appearances as a VIRM is a bright purple bodiless entity in a rhombus shape with sharp white eyes and surrounded by a bright aura.

Like a leader, Papa speaks in a refined and sophisticated manner, and tends to handle situations in a methodical order. He is aware how his existence authority affects others in both positive and negavtive ways. While many fear him fue to his intolerance of rebel and mistakes, he presents a persona of someone who has more compassion and acts according to whatis reasonable. He has no qualms about uaing parasites as soldiers against Kalaxours, even if it sould result in their demise.

He would gain the trust of the parasites by taking into consideration their isolated upbringings and boost their morale by praising their combat capabilities and promising them rewards in exchange for them fulfilling their duties, such as high-ranking missions, annual gifts, and models. Papa strongly forbids thr parasites from forming relations other than professionalism, as he believes they will lose interest in their obligations and become rebellious, should they develop, what he refers to as, unnecessary feeling and memories.

He defends the behavior conditioning and the lack of personal freedom of parasites, as he believes they are price worth paying for because it leads to lasting utopia.

"Hey, Look at all those adults", Zorome said as he tilted his head towards Futoshi.

"Yeah, They're here to see us!", Futoshi replied looking at him. They were standing in a row where all the adults were looking at them.

"My children's, You have had the good fortune to be chosen as parasites...Papa started his speech raising his hands in the air.

"Your great predecessors defended our cities and our people, and they splendidly took flight as our representatives...

Turn your life into a blaze of glory and shed every last drop of blood you have. I pray that you will become a shining ray of hope for humanity", With this the whole place was filled with applause.
