"Okay, so I believe you now. So how did you learn to do all of this stuff? We were together all night and we were only apart for 1 hour this morning while we showered and got dressed?"

"I'm not entirely sure. I know that I saw the stranger this morning floating by our window and they caused me to stop levitating with a wave."

From the anticipation in his gaze, she could see he had gone off the deep end. Not thinking about what power like that meant. A very strong unwavering worry crept into her mind. She worried for her husband all the time because although he was incredibly smart he was not raised with much common sense.

"So, Debby, I think that we should track down the stranger. It could give us a good chance to find out what we're dealing with here. I'm pretty sure I've only touched the tip of the iceberg with these powers" brimming with excitement he told her.

"You think you can slick a can of oil, huh? I can see it in your eyes track down is the least of what you want to do. What if it was malevolent? What do you suppose they will do when you do find them?" She was slightly frustrated because it made sense to want answers but she also wanted to leave well enough alone.

"Honestly, I want to see if they will explain why they helped me. I mean who helps strangers nowadays? Most people feel like it's not their business or that it is too much to do?" Even knowing he would be on the losing end of this debate.

"I get that you're caught up in the "why" of it all but think about your life. What's so wrong with just being happy you made it home alive? I believe you. In fact, I feel like this is sent by God, but you might be chasing an angel and that's nearer to impossible than you winning the world series in Africa.

"Well, now that I have this power it really isn't a long shot to when the world series. So, What do you think?"

"Give it a rest Syn." She said as her nerves throbbed giving her a headache.

He looked at her for a few seconds and said, " Okay well ill be back I realize I never finished my shopping yesterday."

"St-stop!" Debby yelled as she saw Syn Rya rush out the door.

"Ugh, I just know I'm going to regret this", she said.

Sprinting down the street Syn ran as fast as he could to get away from his wife. He truly loved her but she could be a tad bit stubborn at times.

Not that he would admit it, but he was even more stubborn than she. He would definitely not miss this opportunity. The way he looked at it he could always ask forgiveness after he came back. He could never live with himself if he never got answers to his questions.

His brain kicked into overdrive analyzing eye movements, patterns, and odd clothing, all while being completely unaware of doing it.

There he went. Out of the door and into the world to find...who?

He didn't even know where to go.

"Whatever comes they will not be too far behind," so he started west.

He'd decided that if he is going anywhere west would be the direction because he always went west when he was lost or confused.

While on the road to nowhere, Syn, being the friendliest person in town, gave a ride to two strangers in all-black trench coats with extended hoods, black combat boots, and tight black pants.

During the ride, they remained silent.

There was an enigma about them and about 10 minutes in he discovered they were the strangers he'd been looking for. Which one helped him at home, and was this the same one that helped him at the town store. Well, that was still a mystery.

"Hey, I'm Syn. And you are?"

The strangers never said a peep.

"So, are you from around here?"

The strangers still said not a word so had no choice but to revert to his foreign language courses in college. Only because he feared that they didn't speak English.

Although he tried to introduce himself I'm multiple languages they only looked at him weirdly and stared out the window.
