The Kill

The Ash Von-Kade kids take a deep breath as their gaze fell on to the desolate dark forest, they will have to spend their days in until they all have personally killed a human or wolf whichever comes first. The two parents were on the treetops as they were watching their kids, Erik coughs vigorously to the point where he almost loses his balance. Eve comes in at the last second and leans her body on to him for support readjusting his balance he speaks to Evelyn.

Erik: It seems the texts were correct, huh we will have to tell them about our history and the restrictions that come along with our race.

Evelyn: Tell me about it, I feel like I'm going to implode any second now. If it wasn't for that attack a year back we could have pulled through until they all were over 7 years, but one can't gain all the riches without giving something back, now can they. I have to go back to Erik I can't stay like this for too long anymore I need rest, you should be fine by yourself, right? I will leave a familiar just in case.

Without another amount to waste Eve closed her eyes and the water vapor around her began to come together in about the size of a Male torso as she starts to cast her spell.

After she finishes her last words that big blob of water vapor condenses into a fine crystal clear water forming a mini whale-like creature that floated in the spot before circling Eve. After it finished an orbit Eve spoke to it.

Evelyn: Beki, stay with Erik as he watches over the kids, make sure to help him in anything he needs.

Beki in response to his mistress he opens his mouth then closes it, where you can notice a trail of white mist coming off and disappearing into the air. Seeing the whale acknowledge her order Eve leaves for her bed.

Meanwhile, the children were moving very quickly towards the lake as they needed to find a source of food before it got dark, they would need to fight off many animals before they could get to the lake which would then increase the amount of time they spend in the forest as there arent many humans or wolves that venture away from the path that leads to and from the lake. After crossing the designated halfway mark Dav relaxed a little as he felt that there shouldn't be anything harmful to them but little did he know was that there was a stary wolf (werewolf) running in their direction. As Dav had relaxed his siblings didn't, so he had fallen slightly behind the rest of the group that is when a creature leaped from behind a giant pine tree and slammed into Dav as its knife-like teeth ripped Dav's arm off. Dav was sent flying from his path into a stone 5m away creating spider cracking on the impact point, the creature after body-checking into his opponent it takes its place growling at the remaining enemies left in front of him. Shocked by the creature's appearance Lexi was stunned whereas Tomas jumped back and at the same time Tom gathered the wind which was near him to left himself up and gracefully land a thick oak tree branch. On the other hand, Ivy began to chant a spell as you could see purple sparks of light coming and going all around her.

Just as she finished the broken branches and sticks flickered a hue of purple before completely turning into thunder and inclosing the wolf from all sides other than the front as Lexi was still in her spot. With only one option the wolf jumped forward and scratched Lexi. Even though it takes a long time to describe the events it all happened in a minute or two. Lexi who was stunned was unable to provide a proper defense for the wolf's claw strike and only put up her hand to block the claws from hitting her chest. The wolf gained another successful hit sending the 5-year-old Lexi into the tree Tom was on. Wolf gleeful in taking down two out of the four kids, was getting arrogant and didn't hear the voice which was chanting from behind him. That's right Dav who had gotten himself of from the rock with the help Tomas' winds was now huffing in angry that he had lost an arm to this thing, even though had regrown his arm with the regenerative abilities, he now had to deal with the blood which he was covered in. Furious he raised his hands in the air and mumbled a spell so to not catch the wolf's attention. Ivy seeing Dav's action jumps beside Lexi to help her out from inside the tree and let Dav finish the wolf off. The Wolf seeing one of his opponents retreating takes the initiative to strike once again. Tomas notices this advance from his bird's eye view and focuses his mental energy to delay the wolf just enough for Dav to finish casting. Tomas then stretches out his hand to cover the wolf below and makes it believe that is just got its legs broken. From the false injury given by Tomas, the wolf falls to the ground and howls out in pain. Its eyes turn towards the direction where he got the feeling the attack came from only to realize that his body was stunned from the sudden pain. Trying to overcome it makes were little progress as it is about to get a glimpse of the perpetrator it hears a shout from behind.

Shocked it uses its willpower to try to turn its head in the opposite direction only to see huge chunks of stone and earth flying his way. Just as it was about to be impaled by the stone he sees the attacker, it was the kid he slammed into when he had arrived before the group. With that, it dies from multiple stone and earth slabs impaling it form all sides. The reason why it takes Dav such a long time to cast even with the Earth manipulation ability is because his control over it isn't perfect and the manipulation ability only allows him to well manipulate earth not create it, and that is why his casting time is longer than everyone from his family, however, it is equally as deadly if not higher.

After killing the wolf Ivy with Lexi in tow came to congratulate Dav for his first kill. Tomas, on the other hand, floated down from his branch only hover on top of the wolf and began to gather winds to the point where it was strong enough to take down loosely connected branches, he spoke crisply.

With those words the winds started to come together with the wolf's body as the center point it then started to compress the body as it brought the body the ground. As it floated up Tomas returned to the ground and walked toward his siblings with the compressing wolf body in tow. When reached his siblings the body was now just a green glowing stone-like object radiating energy.

Tomas: I believe you earned this Dav. Even though we all helped kind of well not Lexi you did the last blow, so its all yours
