The Eight Covens

While the Ash Von-Kade children were happily returning to meet their parents there was a village little north of the lake they had just lived in which was in a panic. This village consisted of only eight major witch families that had found refuge in this New World (Western Continents) after running away from the east. These eight names rule this current village and all witches in the new world: Emerald, Daybreak, Hemlock, Sallow, Rose, Fae, Grief, and Scarlet.

Within the Rose household, a messenger came running in.

Messenger: Great Mother! Great Mother! There is a huge problem!

Great Mother: What is it, Johnathan?

Johnathan: The Lake Arden guardian is dead!

Great Mother: WHAT! Call the council immediately. Go! Now!

Johnathan: Yes Ma'am.

These eight covens have a special responsibility each of them is to monitor certain aspects of the underworld, (supernatural world), within the New World, to make sure that the balance is kept and no one side has to much power.

"Who could be strong enough to kill the great snake? There are no rouge witches in the New World that we know of and the werewolves alone are not strong enough heck even the Nymphs would only talk to it at a distance. So which creature could kill it?"

Johnathan: Great Mother, they have arrived and are now waiting for you.

From John's voice, the Great Mother was brought back from her troubling thoughts. She got up to head towards the room where all the major covens had gathered on her requests.

Witch Elder: Ah Cleo you have finally arrived now tell us why you called for this meeting.

Cleo Rose: Ophelia and everyone here I have just received some dire new. The guardian of Arden is dead.

As those words were spoken silence was all you could hear, all the witch elders were shocked because they knew that the creature who lived there was a being that even all of them combined would have a hard time killing without themselves dying as well.

Faunas Fae: Who was it, Cleo? Who killed it and how are we just hearing of an existence that can kill a creature like that only know?

Anastasia Scarlet: Faun is right what killed it? There is no one strong enough in the New World to kill that thing so answers us, Cleo!

Cressida Sallow: Well that may not be true anymore Ana, I got a report earlier this week from the Luna clan saying that the mundane village near them got two ships full of new people and after there arrival, the number of wolf killings had increased exponentially.

Isabel Emerald: Cress ask the wolves for a list of all families that have come. Remember only families and no others.

Cressida: Yeah, I thought you would say that and asked for it a couple of days back. So here it is there were only 10 or so families that came from the east everyone else was just single or recently married couples. Of the ten families, these are some that caught my attention: Shaw, West, O'Connor, Alvarez, Mikaelson, and Ash Von-Kade.

Ophelia Daybreak: Mikaelson? Don't they have two power sister what were their names Esther and um um-

Theia Hemlock: Dahlia. That's the second one I hear she found a way to become immortal while also being a witch.

Lear Grief: I will send them an invitation to come here, we can have the Ebony sister's help with transportation besides their space-related magic is very good for that.

Using the Ebony sister's spatial magic Esther and Dahlia both got a request to meet the Eight covens as soon as possible.

Unfortunately for them, Esther was dealing with some family matters that were uncovered quite recently.

We will go back to when the Von-Kade kids left to meet their parents. The Mikaelsons were out cold for couple hours, when they did wake up it was in the house of an exiled townsman. Sadly for the man, his kindness was repaid in blood, his familial blood. The Mikaelsons had a feast and returned to their home to discuss what the Ash Von-Kades were. However, on their way home, they discover that Nick was not their full blood relative as he had started to transform into a wolf while also retaining his vampiric nature.

Mikael who just had a rude awakening on what powers truly venture this realm felt betrayed by his wife's lie. If that was not enough even his children were not there to support him, so he was having a crisis as he did not know what to do anymore.

Returning to the battle area Mikael collects the blood remains of Dav when he had fallen of the tree before arriving in front of them. Rebekah who was confused as to why her father had collected dried tries to ask him but is stopped by Elijah as he noticed his father grow distance towards them after they had defended their brother Nick, who was not their father's child.

Mikael understanding his position and inferring what it might look like explains his reason to collect Dav's blood was for the sole reason that he needed to know what race they were as they weren't human, and Esther being a witch could find it out after she explains the mockery she had caused.

Arriving home after collecting the blood Mikeal tells all the kids to make sure there aren't any unwanted people around and enters the house to have a conversation with Esther who had kind of forgotten about her scandal and that there may have been a way to uncover it.

Mikael: YOU WRETCHED WOMAN!! TO THINK YOU WOULD SLEEP WITH OUR ENEMIES!

Esther: Noo, it's not like that Mikael. Listen I will explain.

When Mikael had dashed into the house Esther was caught by surprise as she was restrained by him. Noticing that he was very angry she tried her best to make him calm down without even angering him further. While she was still trying to figure out what he was talking about she saw a glimpse of Nick outside the house and realized that he must have transformed after killing his first victim.

Esther: I can seal his wolf side for as long as you want to prevent anyone from realizing what he is.

Mikael: So you do admit to your treachery huh. You think that after such an incident I will let that filth live any longer and ruin the Mikaelson name you are too naive Esther to naive.

Esther: You don't have to do that because if you do you will have to explain why you had to kill him or even be looked down upon by society thus bring down your Mikaelson name.

Mikael: I want him chained down and make him know that if he is to ever transform into that trash then I will personally kill him.

Esther: At once. Elijah!! Get me obsidian, wolf's and Nick's blood.

Mikael: While he is getting that tell me what this is?

Esther: A vile of blood, full of vitality and it also has some soil and dirt mix in with it. Where did you get it from ahh sorry who I mean?

Mikael: From a thing an abomination who killed us when we went hunting. That is not all it was a family by the name of Ash Von-Kade.

While Mikael was giving a brief intro of the blood Esther had already poured the blood into a bowl and started a lineage spell to discover its origin. To which she was very surprised.

Esther: Demon!! When in the name of God did they roam the New World.

Mikael: What did you say to me?

Esther: Not you, the blood belongs to demons a powerful demon who is still growing stronger day by day.

Mikael: I must kill them before it gets out of hand. Tell me what can kill them and where can I find it.

Esther: Well it depends on the demon in question for some you have to get things from their place of origin as there should be no demon that is born in this realm. Sealing them is very helpful, from what I know only the Salem witches dabble in this art so that option is difficult. We could start with a dragon scale and move down the list of already known weakness but it will be very rare for those to work.

Mikael: Useless! I will go hunting for a few things on the list and you maybe getting a visit from your sister as the ah ah what did she say ahh The Guardian is dead soo yeah.

Just before he left Nick should up in the house looking at his feet and seeming very scared.

Nick: Mother, when we fought against the Von-Kades I smelled strong sent of reptilian blood around them. I think that they were fighting the so could Guardian.

Mikael: You aren't chained up yet, make sure next the time I see you is when I am sealing you and never again. HUH

Esther: I will also be leaving you children, it seems that the Eight covens of the New World are asking for an audience with me. So until I return make sure that your father does not kill Nick. Remember the only thing that can kill you all is a weapon of a white oak tree. If I don't return after a couple of days from your father's return run away as it will most likely mean that I have died or been sealed.

Children: Yes Moth-- WHAT!

Finn: Mother, if that is the case you mustn't go.

Esther: If only my child if only. Sigh.

After saying her piece she too leaves to her sister's home and with her, she arrives at a desolate place in the forest and burns their invitations. Giving a signal to the Ebony sisters that they ever ready for the teleportation.
