Sukino found a new friend. That's good. Though I don't like the fact that this man is blind. I mean he's a great guy and all but he doesn't know what Sukino truly is.
He doesn't know the truth about Sukino, but neither do I.
What is Sukino? Where is he from? How did he get here? Why is he here?
These question constantly run through my mind ever since I me Sukino. Now he has a new friend who doesn't even know who he is!
I drove from Jessie's house back to mine. Apparently, Daichi's sister left him there from Sukino, at least from what I can tell. That's harsh. I offered for him to stay with me but he declined that.
I was actually about to pass Daichi's house. There someone standing in their yard. Who is it?
I slowed as I passed his house. As my headlights washed over the figure they looked head on to it, not even flinching at the harsh light. Could they even see it?
Wait.
Is that Daichi? It is! He was walking towards the road. Does he know he is? It's dangerous for him out here. I need to help him.
I pulled up on the side of the road next to him. I put the window down and asked, "Do you want to stay at my house, Daichi?"
Daichi agreed that was for the best and I walked out of the car and helped him into the passenger side seat.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I don't want to talk about it," he responded.
Did his sister really want for him to go "missing"? Did she tell him this? Or is it something else?
What happened?
I pulled up into the driveway of my house. My parents were away on vacation, of course they couldn't take me because of school, but I didn't want to go anyways. I'm glad I didn't.
I helped Daichi out of the car and up the sidewalk to the entrance of my house. The door squeaked open when I unlocked it and gave a sturdy push. It was a old house so of course it would squeak.
I let Daichi sleep in my bed while I slept in my parents. I didn't want my parents to freak out that a stranger was sleeping in their bed. Hopefully they would understand why he's here. Hopefully they won't ground me, if they do I won't be able to see Sukino anymore.

The next morning, I cooked for Daichi and me. I made eggs and bacon. Daichi said his appreciation for the meal and dig into. He seemed to enjoy it. That's good.
It was the weekend, so there shouldn't be any problems with seeing Sukino. I turned the tv on to the news. Nothing interesting ever happens around here but it still nice to watch while eating breakfast.
I read the headline for the news they were talking about. It seemed to be about a murder of a husband and wife. Then I read where it was. It was here. It was by the path.
I listen carefully to the news as it explained that the husband and wife's daughter came for breakfast that morning, but instead of smelling food as she walked in she spelled death.
It explained that they found only blood, no parts of the bodies at all. Just blood. Some on the stairs and a lot on a recliner chair, still reclined as if someone was laying there, watching the television in front of it.
Oh no.
It had to be Sukino. Who else? It was right by the path as well.
"Man, what kind of monster would do such a thing?" Daichi said innocently.
No. Sukino wasn't a monster. He HAD to do these things to survive.
But... how would Daichi feel about Sukino if he knew it was him? Would his opinion change? Would he tell?
Would Jessie tell?
