Once I was out and dressed, still muttering about my earlier screw up, I threw my hair in a messy bun as someone knocked on my door. I quickly rushed to the door as I opened a message from a former friend of mine. I didn't look up at who it was as I replied do the persons message; all the while I smiling like an idiot. After I put the phone in my pocket, I looked up. To my horror, it was Leo at my door. Since I was no longer wearing shoes, I was eye level with this chest. My head didn't even reach over his shoulders.

"I was sent to fetch you since dinner has arrived." he said with a cold expression on his face.

"About earlier, I'm sorry for what I said. That was just my first initial thought at seeing the outside of the house. Now that I got to see more of it, I was wrong." I apologized as I walked back in my room as I sat down on a chair that was next to the windows. Leo followed me in as he watched my every move as I put on my thigh high socks.

"Don't worry about it. It was honest, refreshing, and expected. Did you know that your mother made me put in the windows in your room? There are no other rooms in the house with floor to ceiling windows, let alone a whole wall of them." he said as he smiled as he nodded at the window.

I stood up and walked towards the door with Leo on my heels. "Wow. I was not expecting that. Thank you." I said as we exited my room.

"I did not understand why until today. William also informed me that I should expect criticism from you on the house." he said as we walked down the hall.

I just chuckled since I could picture my mother doing just that; commanding a Ward to put something into his plans that does not match the rest of the house. The rest of the walk to the kitchen was quiet. They ordered pizza for everyone. I grabbed a few slices before Jesse pulled me outside to the round table on the patio where Peter, Jake, Cody, Ashton, and Leo all sat laughing as they talked to each other. The parents stayed inside as they drank a glass of wine and ate their pizza. I sat across the table from Cody who sat next to Jake and Leo who was on his right. Ashton sat next to Jake, Peter next to Ashton, Jesse next to Peter, and me next to Jesse. There were two empty seats between me and Leo.

I laughed along to the stories about the family's as we all ate. Once the pizza was finished, Jesse made everyone some spiked hot chocolate. I loved hot chocolate no matter what time of the year it was. Evelyn and James were already gone and mom and William were already in bed. The moment Jesse got back with the drinks, everyone started to question me.
