A Peaceful Morning 2

.......(Meanwhile on the top of the Liones palace)....

Serah(16 years) could be seen sitting on the tip of one of the tall pillars of the palace holding it tightly for support.

The sun was yet to rise up completely, a slow and cold breeze danced with the surroundings touching her white skin and cream hair.The view was a marvellous one,that could bring peace to any troubled mind.

However, Serah's mind wasn't troubled, sure she looked like an ill-tempered and troublesome brat to others but... she was even more than that in reality. 😏

Beholding the rising sun,Serah knew it was time for her to make a decision. She thought about it hard and long,about all the ways she could take to reach her goal but...someway or the other they all submerged into one wide path,which made her realise that no matter how much she doesn't want to do it.. But she has to.

"How dare that blond midget took a chance on me!!" She said while munching on a dried fish which she got from 'god knows where'.

"Damn that ice-cream boy!!" She yelled "And why the hell...*gasp* ..Did 'Lil Me' let him do so!!" this time her voice was even louder.

Then came a deadly silence as she processed every bit of information in her mind and finally came to a conclusion.

"I never would've thought something like this will happen." She said in a dead serious tone,anger burning in her eyes as her hair waved with the wind. "Guess my intuitions were correct! But the scale is very large..!" she muttered to herself.

"I guess...there's no choice.." She mumbled as she slowly stood up still holding the tower's tip."Okay... for the last time.." she said as she deeply inhaled the fresh hair into her and held it in for a second.

"DAMN THOSE SEVEN DEADLY SINS !!!!" And with that she let it all out in one go! Her voice echoed in the whole

Now Serah was calm..and collected..She decided two major things this moment..

One was to not madly yell on anyone anymore and the other .....well..she would talk it out with the Sins later on anyways..😅

She jumped down the tower and made her way to the Sins.... "Now its decided.!" she said..

Meliodas and the others could be seen running through the corridors of the palace as they made their way to Bartra's room.

"I can believe she turned to her original self all of a sudden.!" Diane uttered as Meliodas told them the while story this morning.

"We must hurry before she gets to the book before us..! We shouldn't have left in Bartra's hands in the first place. That kid is insane!" King yelled clearly accusing Meliodas who was so easy-going aroung the girl yesterday and now he finally got what he deserved.

Meliodas didn't answer him and they run pass through Gilthunder ,Howzer and Griomoire who were cleaning the floor of the palace for who knows what reason!

"Hey guys what's u-" Before Howzer could complete his greetings they were gone very far..Thus,completely ignoring the three.

"Uh..- what just happened?" Gillthunder broke the silence as the three quickly wore off their aprons in a second like they were waiting for just a chance to do so.

"We must follow them! Quick!" Griomoire signaled the two and there they were..Chasing the sins with full speed.!

Soon the commotion spred through the entire palace as the knights passed on information to one another,none of them knowing what the hell was happening?!

Meanwhile...The Sins neared Bartra's room as Meliodas struck open the door "BARTRA!!" He yelled as his mouth suddenly dropped!...

Bartra was lying on the floor with his head facing down.

They came to the sudden conclusion.. "Huh!!!Bartra is Dead!!" they all yelled except Meliodas and Ban as Gilthunder and the other two.reached the room.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" The 3 of them yelled altogether which almost caused the whole tower to shake.

"HEY!!" Meliodas yelled as he hit them one by one on the their head.

"Wh-what's all this commotion in the morning?" A clear yet sleepy voice said as they turned around in an instant..only to see Bartra slowly turning while still lying on the floor.

"Your highness!" Gilthunder and Meliodas ran towards him amand helped him up to his bed as he sat there breathing deeply. He was still huffing rapidly and his face was clearly covered in sweat.

"What are you all doing at my place this early in the morning?." He said maintaining his royal tone as his cheeks flusjed red in embarassment. 'Did I end up on the floor again while I was asleep..?' He thought as he choked twice trying to avert their attention.

" I believe the 'Seven Deadly Sins' must be having a certain reason to act this way." He said.

"Oh..We apologise for intruding without prior information." Ban stated averting his eyes away from Bartra as he saw the book kept peacefully on his table. "Uh..We were searching for a certain brat that is.."

"And we thought she might be after that book!" Diane spouted right after Ban.

"But... Looks like that isn't the case." King added followed by Merlin "Just..as I thought it might be.." she muttered to herself.

"By the way Bartra... " Meliodas came closer,his face filled with a worried expression as he made his way to Bartra.

"Its still dawn and the weather is quite cold..So why are you still covered in sweat panting heavily on that?" He asked as Bartra tensed up on his quistion.

"Well..I-" Bartra's voice was wavering as he was trying to come up with a suitable answer. Meliodas suddenly patted on his shoulder while Bartra looked up to match his face.

"You saw something again didn't you..?" It was then when Meliodas's question ringed an alarm on everyone's mind especially Ban.

'Blinded by the love of a lost loved one the demon ruler is bound to make hasty and wrong decisions resulting in intense chaos upon the world as well as our beloved kingdom.' Bartra's words suddenly echoed in his mind all over as he worriedly looked at the other Sins who were thinking the same thing. (From chapter 2..In case you forgot..😉)

"What is it Bartra..? " Meliodas asked again "The vision you saw..?" His tone grew more serious as he finally started connecting the dots. "And yes... I almost forgot to ask you all.." He turned his gaze to the others as they simply gulped in surprise.

"How come this 'book' and 'Lil sis' ended up here anyways..?" His questioms raised along with his voice.

"And now that I think about it... You didn't knew a single thing about that book..Then why were you trying to protect it in the first place..?"  He added impatiently waiting for any of them to answer.

The sins,Gilthunder's trio and Bartra could do nothing but glare at him thinking of a perfect excuse.

'Meliodas mustn't know anything of this conversation unless we didn't find the truth behind my vision.' Bartra's words were constantly flowing through their mind as a deep silence engulfed the room.

"What is it guys..? Why don't you answer me? " He made his way to Ban with his face covered in his hair. "What hapened between you all in my absence..Ban?" His serious tone made Ban feel even more guilt inside.

Hiding something with such importance from Meliodas would be the last thing he would've wanted to do. He knew that Meliodas didn't mean to imply that they were planing something behind his back..It was just that he thought they might wanna tell him something but couldn't get the time to do so.

But,he too was helpless..He didn't wanted him to worry about something that might even doesn't relate to him to began with.

"Ban –" "MY KING!!" Before Meliodas could complete two Knights came busting into the room drawing everyone's attention.

"THERE *gasp* THERE'S BEEN AN EMERGENCY!!" they yelled panting heavily.

"Uh..Oh.." Was Meliodas's words and "Don't tell me its 'her' again.." was Ban's..
