Chapter 8: Rest

As the trio passed the outskirts of Seoul, the busy yet beautiful atmosphere welcomed them home. It was night now- almost ten o'clock, so they would see city at night in all it's glory.

It would take a while to return to the gang's main house, so they'd coop up in a hotel until morning.

As Jungkook parked the car in the allocated area, Alex tried to wake Jimin up, to no avail. He had been sleeping ever since they had left that convenience store in Busan so long ago.

Alex herself was exhausted, but kept trying to wake the boy up from his slumber as she felt her own eyes get heavier.

JK turned the engine off and exited the car. Before Alex knew what happened, he rushed round to the passenger side Jimin was seated on, flung the door open and slapped him sound on his cheek.

The sound echoed through the the night, and you winced; you could almost feel it yourself. "That's gonna hurt in the morning," you thought to yourself. Poor Jimin.

The receiver of the slap was startled awake and instantly put his hand up to his cheek, that was burning and stinging. Jimin felt tears start to his eyes as he looked at his dongsaeng who was standing near him with a smug smirk graced on his face.

Jungkook just grinned at him, before dragging him out of the car and walking him to the lit entrance of the hotel. Jimin himself was too stunned to speak.

He turned his head round to look at the car as Alex exited. She looked his way and gave an apologetic face, mouthing "Sorry!" as he was guided into the hotel.

Alex followed.

Jungkook requested for a family suite with three beds and two bathrooms.

And a mini fridge so he could gorge on snacks.

And a balcony to take pictures.

"And a mini bar for me!" Jimin finally spoke. JK huffed but agreed. He payed and all three went up to the room.

You just didn't understand- you were only staying for one night. Why did they need so much stuff, then?

As soon as you entered, you flopped on the nearest bed. Jungkook followed suit, whilst Jimin went to the bathroom to look in the mirror.

You just lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling. You couldn't believe your luck; you were finally free again, after so long. You felt like crying all over again.

You were interrupted from your thinking when a white cloth fell on your face. You removed it and looked at it for a second, before turning on your side to look at JK. A now half-naked JK, who had apparently given up his white t-shirt for you to sleep in.

You smiled at him as a silent thank you, to which he smiled back. You would have voiced your gratitude, but you couldn't guarantee you wouldn't just fangirl over his abs and perfectly-toned body.

Instead you got up and walked past Jimin who was coming out of the bathroom.

Looking into the mirror, you stared at your reflection. You were a mess. Two years of hardship had etched itself into your face. Rosy lips were now cracked and dry. You were going to need a while to get back to your original self.

The hotel had provided face masks and small samples of facial products, which would come in useful.

As you went through a rigorous routine to get your face back to the state it once was, you once again realised how lucky you were to have finally escaped the clutches of EXO and GOT7.

You knew it most likely wouldn't last long, this peace, until they come back for revenge. Bu until that happened, you were going to revel in this tranquility.
