Yuan Shun and Shi Yen spent the entire day buried in work. They didn't interact much with each other, maintaining their professionalism and distance. In the evening, they headed over to the Yuan Estate for dinner with his family together.

Yuan Shun's mother and sister greeted them excitedly, welcoming them indoors. Shi Yen hadn't realized that it was a large dinner because Sun Xiaolan had invited more guests.

"Yen!" called Shi Ailin, waving at her.

Eye-wide, Shi Yen came over. She hugged her sister. "It feels like it's been forever," Shi Yen said. "How have you been holding up?"
