- The training ground, Shen Headquarters -

Venn Lee was standing on the stadium arena while her eyes were looking around to over a hundred trainee soldiers and with the dignity of a teacher she spoke, " Today is your graduation day..., after training so hard to two months..., finally you will able to join the troop! Congratulations to all of you and please talk to Marshal Lang to see where you will be assign.., again..., congratulations to all of you but don't celebrate too early because your life as a soldier has just begun and from now on you have to go through challenge or obstacle so perhaps one day you will gain recognition for your talent and become the next Marshal!"

She smiled convincingly at her speech and happily exit the stage when they cheered and clapped their hands.

Their happy voice was music to her ear. Now, she could finally go back to Shen resident as Damian Shen's personal guard, however, the powerful icy man was nowhere to be seen since two weeks ago. She would have to go back to Shen resident even without his permission to accomplish her real mission.

Like a shadow, Nick Lang had followed behind her. Before she entered her room, she said to him, " I will stay with Marshal Shen starting tomorrow to return to my old job as his personal guard, while you have to be here to manage the new soldiers..., so I have to bid you goodbye now until we could meet again!"

Nick Lang's expression was unreadable, he was not born with a silver spoon, he had become a Marshal due to hard work and determination, but why can't he possess the proud woman after so much time and determination was spend to show her his deep love?

"Venn Lee..., these past two months do you have even a tiny bit compassion for me?"

"Nick Lang..., I thought of you like a big brother that I never had in my life..., we could be a sworn sibling if you agree!"

His expression turned dark and with deep agony, he snarled, " I don't want to be your brother.., I want to be your lover.., I want to marry you, and I want to be the man who will stand next to you and protect you for all eternity!"

Unbeknownst to Venusa, the charming man who was always smiling and joking around with her was also able to show his anger.

Without a warning, he pounced her to the wall and kissed her furiously.

At the same moment, Venusa was shocked when Nick Lang's lips land on her with uncomfortable moistness, instantly, she pushed him away.

He hissed with rage and an explosive censored curse was out at the same time he left.

She sighed with relief when Nick Lang left her. She entered her room and throw herself on the spacious bed. She was thinking wildly. 'Where is Damian Shen when she needed him to most? She was missing him like crazy but has he forgot about her to indulge pleasure with his other woman? Has he given up on the idea to make her his woman?

She sighed deeply and thought internally, ' Would he love Alex the way he loves Leah? Did he love the busty woman as much as he loves her? What happens if he marries the other woman? Could she leave him and say goodbye forever?'

All the questions were building to another question until she finally gave up on her thought and softly said, " One day at a time...., I want him now until the day I have to leave him again...., I don't need to be in his life to love him...., I can't stay with him if I am not the only woman next to him..., right now being his sex partner is the best choice as my parting gift!"
