Sweet Revenge

- Alex Lee hiding area, 4 hours before sunset -

Six of them were huddling together to discuss their next plan to dethrone and kill the emperor.

"Thor...., any news from the palace?!"

After using himself as a distraction, the bulky man went back to the palace to get news and delivered it at this moment...

"Report to Young Master..., they were gathering all the volunteer soldiers and tightening the palace security!!"

Alex Lee's expression was calm and wise, he had expected that they would right away prepare for the war after Leah Shen escaped freely.

"Alright, Strong Wolf..., go to Marshal Shen now..., so you could meet him halfway and informed him to do as plan..."

Alex Lee paused for a minute, while his mind was choreographing his plan until it was successful, then he nodded with delight and continued his command, " Thor... go to West gate as plan and Fiery Wolf... go to East gate! Agents 001 would stay by the carriage for plan C.., and agent 003 will go with me".

Both of his elite agents had just returned from another secret mission and they finished on time to rejoin the team.

Not so far away from the palace, Agent 001 was hiding the horse carriage full with ammunition and medicines behind the bushes and he was climbing the highest tree while using his binoculars to spy his surroundings...

At the same moment, Alex Lee and agent 003 were waiting nearby the East palace for any sign of Marshal Shen army arrival...

- Nick Lang mansion -

Nick Lang was angry that Alex Lee was able to pull a trick on him and as a result, Leah Shen had escaped...

One hour ago, he had sent her mother to escape to their hometown with five of his trusty personal guards. She would be safer traveling without him.., just in case if he was caught in action...

Today was the first time for Marilyn Shen to be at Marshal Lang mansion, she didn't even know about Nick Lang Mother until just a while ago.

For almost a month, they lived closeby with the Emperor but then today..., the disaster come forth...

From Marshal Lang, Marilyn Shen knew that Leah Shen had escaped..., she had visited her occasionally just to say hi and bye, but recently, Leah Shen had ignored her existence..., since she was too happy with her new status, she didn't think of any of it.., until now...

"You should be more motherly instead of ignoring Leah Shen, now she probably knew that you are not her real mother!!"

"What we gonna do now? Would we win the war without Leah as hostage?!"

Nick Lang answered cowardly, " This war is not mine...to begin with..."

"Are you leaving my father the King?!!", Marilyn Shen was pulling his military collar with both hands since their stature was equal, it was easy to do...

She added with a begging voice, while inwardly she was angry at his useless coward husband, " Hubby..., you must defend the palace and protect my father the King!!"

Nick Lang was pulling out her hands from his collar and he sighed deeply while answered, " I am too young to die in this forsaken place! Either come with me to my hometown or stay behind!"

"Nick Lang..., you coward!!", she had curled her hands into fists and hit him numerous times at his well-built chest." You promised my father the King..., he would leave the throne to us.., we would rule the world!"

"I left the rest of my soldiers to protect the old king, while knowing Damian Shen and Alex Lee..., we have no hope unless we escaped now!!"

Marilyn was thinking outside the box and after a long while, she agreed with Nick Lang...

Nothing was lost between her and her father the King, besides her position as a Queen to be, but at this moment, nothing was more precious than her own life.

"Let me help you packed all your precious treasure and money, hubby!!"

"We have five minutes!"

- The Palace Court -

The Emperor had ordered Marshal Lang to discuss war strategy with him, but he never came to his private room.

From one of his men, he knew that the unloyal cowardly Marshal had deserted him along with his only heir.., he was looking around of all the precious treasure surrounding him and unable to leave his position as Emperor..., he chose to die proudly as the Last Emperor.

The palace court was full of all of his official ministers but none was dare to give him any war suggestion besides running for his life.

"I live for my throne and died with my throne!! All of you will do the same and stay here with me to protect me with the last drop of your blood. Without me, the monarchy and everyone within its wings would no longer exist!"

All the official was trembled and shaken with fear, after all, they were all just scholars and not a military person, only two-person hold the military power in the Emperor Country. However at this moment, the powerful Marshal Shen would attack the palace and the cowardly Marshal Lang had run away with tail between his legs, along with the unfilial princess.

The entrance gates were made by meteorite substance, hence any bomb won't able to break it.

But Fiery Wolf was able to jump through the giant East gate as fast as the wind, thus no newbie guards were able to detect his intrusion.

Meanwhile, at the West gate, Thor was waiting nearby for Alex Lee's signal...

Finally, after waiting for almost 2 hours, Alex Lee received the arrival of Marshal Shen army from agent 001 fire signal..., immediately, Alex Lee was shooting his fire gun on the sky as a signal to the rest of his agents...

Seeing the signal, Fiery Wolf was out from his hiding place and with his formidable martial arts, he broke through the group of gate guards easily and unlocked the East gate..., at that instant, Marshal Shen army was marching in while the war horn was blown from both sides as a sign of the beginning of the battle.

At the same moment after seeing Alex Shen signal, Thor was throwing his firebomb in front of the West Gate, even though the bomb impact didn't break the gate, the fire would last for fifteen minutes and the heat from the fire would enable anyone to escape or attack them from this route...

As follow up, Thor was throwing the firebombs inside the gate and because of the unbearable heat and the panic of the attacks..., all the West gate guards were regrouping to the Eastside...

Lone Wolf was standing on the Pavillion roof located in between of East and West gates and shouted with his inner energy, his voice was echoing with powerful sound effect, " Any civilian would be forgiven, as long they drop their weapon and stay put in the corner of the pavilion backyard with your hands up!!"

Right away, all the newbies were giving up the fight while the enemy loyal soldiers were firing at them as a warning for deserters, and many innocents had fallen victim...., but since the enemy's soldiers were outnumbered, the Shen's army was able to annihilate them before they killed all of the newbies...

Then Strong Wolf was checking on the newbie to assure their identity.

One of them suddenly pulled out a gun from inside his sleeve but easily he avoided the bullet and in a flash, he threw one poison needle right on his vital chest area..., instantly he laid unconscious on the ground...

The rest of them was indeed civilians who was forced to fight a losing battle...

Damian Shen and Venusa Shen were headed toward the palace court after they defeat the outnumbered soldiers.

The Emperor was sitting high on his throne when he saw them entering the palace court with a serious expression of deep hatred...

The Evil Emperor applaud then by clapping his hands and while laughing he said, " HaHaHa...., Marshal Shen and his beautiful wife from the 'Love clan', my late prime minister daughter..., welcome to my kingdom!! HaHaHa.."

At that moment, Lone Wolf, Strong Wolf, and Fiery Wolf were also entering the palace court while staring furiously at the evil emperor.

In an instant, the Evil Emperor mocked the newcomers, " The unloyal dogs are coming to bite the fingers of his owner..., HaHaHa..., what a pleasant sight to see!!"

"Evil Emperor..., we know you killed our father by poison, you almost killed our uncle but he survived and attested for your crime..., today you will die!!", Long Wolf sneered with the satisfaction of sweet revenge.

"Anyone willing to die with the Evil Emperor could stay behind, otherwise..., out of the door, now!!!", threaten Strong Wolf with his lion roar that sent fears to the bystanders...

Joining the party, Fiery Wolf was also threatened them with his tiger roar...

All the innocent officials were running toward the door but the evil Emperor was clicking on a suspicious remote while still laughing but nothing was happening...

Aghast with the unexpected event, the evil emperor muttered, " Why this crappy thing was not working?" He was pressing on the button nonstop with a crazed look.

At that moment, Alex Lee entered the palace court with agent 003 right behind him like a shadow and without warning, he pulled out the hiding compartment under the floor in front of the court entrance and threw the deactivated time bombs toward his throne.

"Y-You.., you just a little kid..., H-How could you deactivated my powerful and indestructible time bombs?!!"

" Your time bombs were an easy piece of cake..., I had deactivated it a while ago..., now...I will let you died with dignity!!"

Alex Lee clapped his hand and Thor was coming with a cup of tea laced with a strong poison...

He was approaching the defeated Emperor with vengeful steps...

Venusa Shen stopped him on his track and said strongly," Let me do it instead, Thor!" Venusa Shen grabbed the teacup from Thor, halfway from the Emperor's throne.

Thor bowed and letting his wrathful madam who have more right to kill the evil Emperor to continue the righteous deed...

Damian Shen was following right behind his wife with a gun on his hand to be safe and together they went up the three small steps to reach the evil Emperor...

The evil Emperor reached for the teacup still with the lit on..., but on a brink of drinking the tea..., he intentionally dropped the poisoned tea to the ground... and in a high-speed, he lifted a taped gun from under his throne and without wasting any time, he fired at Venusa direction...

"No...", Damian yelled and pulled Venusa out of the way while he shot the evil emperor without mercy on his forehead...

The Emperor was mortally injured but he was able to shot a bullet unexpectedly right at the time of his death...

The bullet hit Damian on his unprotected neck area

..., it was not a vital area but it was bleed out furiously...

"Noo!!" Venus shouted and she pulled out the white table cloth in front of her and pressing it on Damian's neck wounded area while hugging him tightly on her lap...

He was looking at her lovingly and gratefully that he was able to protect her, but then the darkness consumed him...

"Don't you dare die on me!!", warned Venusa incandescently while her tears were dropping like pearls on his pale face...

"Daddy!!"

Instantly, Alex Lee was moving toward his dad and calling for agent 003 that always brought his medicinal backpack.

Right away, agent 003 asked Thor and Strong Wolf to carry the massive man on the big wide crystal table in front of the throne to perform surgery.

"Please save him, agent 003!!", begged Venusa on her knees.

"Comfort your mother, Young Master, with my skill, Marshal Shen will be okay!!"

Alex Lee hugged his mother tightly and said with assurance,"Daddy is very strong, he will be okay!!"

After a long while, the surgery was successful but Marshal Shen was still in a coma from the anesthesia drug.

Alex Lee had shot his fire gun into the sky for plan C...

Agent 001 arrived in prompt time and Venusa Shen was sitting inside the cart to watch her heavily injured beloved husband.

"The palace probably might not safe to stay..., let's go to the Emperor mountain for now and we could stabilize the Emperor country tomorrow!!", order Alex Lee.

Alex Lee left the legendary Wolves in charge of half of the Shen's army to guard the palace from any possible uproar. While the rest of them will stay at Emperor camp for his dad to recuperate in peace.

Sweet revenge...

Alex Lee felt a heavyweight was lifted from his burdensome heart...

It took them only one hour to win the war and attained their sweet revenge.., right on time to enjoyed the sunset on the way to the Emperor mountain and to reunited with his little sister as a complete family.
