『This Emperor』

"Vaylin, are you ready yet?" Senya stepped into the hall. For the past fifteen minutes, her son Thexan and daughter Vaylin were packing their clothes. However Thexan had finished mere moments ago, and Vaylin still hasn't left her room!

An annoyed groan emitted from the room to the left, the sound of her hands clapping down on the sides of her skirting could be heard. "None of my clothes fit!"

"We'll just get new ones," Thexan spoke up.

Senya placed a hand on her forehead, before pacing back and forth. "This is taking too long, I have a bad feeling..."

"Don't Jinx us." Ento turned his head towards the woman. A person who was immortal in the force, was likely to be highly powerful. That and they were an Emperor, they had power over the people and its armies.

It was too late, he could feel the electrical signals of droids, battle droids, flying their way over to the private docking port of the suite. "It seems we have company..." He uttered, but his words were cut off by the sound of a ship descending upon the port. "Hm?"

A powerful force signature was making its way to the other side of the door.

"Ah, Nerf Shart... He's here," Ento had briefly reached out with the force to identify who it was.

Vaylin came darting out into the common room hearing the front door opening. Though at first she had thought they were leaving, but that didn't seem to be the case. She had come out just in time to see her father stepping in through the front doors of the suite with his hands folded behind his back militantly.

Thexan turned to look at his father as he had been facing his mother and frowned slightly. Now that he was here, there was no leaving with Vaylin.

Senya was clearly fearless and she was also strong willed. She stood there, ready for what may transpire here this night and to step in even if it meant dying for her children.

Ento's electric blue eyes aligned with that of the Emperor's pale blue hues.

The older man stopped where he stood, raising a brow at the young boy. He rolled his jaw lightly, before then turning his gaze towards Vaylin, his favorite Child who he had feared due to her similarity to himself.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Vaylin brought out screaming, drawing the saber from her sleeve, igniting it as she charged towards her father. Anger, betrayal, she felt it all at once the moment he was standing there unapologetically.

Just then she leapt halfway across the room with the weapon raised above her head.

The Emperor's gaze watched his favorite child as she was airborne, she was vulnerable, he then went about using the force to throw her backward with a violent force push.

As the wave of force energy hit her, her body jolted backward and she lost hold of her lightsaber. Fumbling it before it was too far from her grasp.

However she wasn't the only one who had attacked her father.

Ento knowing that she was acting solely on her emotions, sensed that her father wouldn't kill her. So he used this as a distraction. Summoning one of the lightsabers from his belt, he began to overload the compact diatium power cell after puncturing it with the force.

Just as she was thrown back, Ento threw the weapon towards the Emperor.

Valkorian narrowed his eyes on the unignited cylindrical weapon, not having sensed it until it was too close for comfort. "Hm?" Then it exploded a few centimeters from his face. Smoke and debris feeling the air briefly, blocking their view.

Ento proceeded to jump into the air, catching Vaylin on her way down, and landing on his feet. "Are you alright?" He asked looking her over.

Vaylin blinked up at Ento a few times before smiling faintly up at him, seeing how foolish her actions had been. But when he dropped her legs, setting her back on her feet, she watched as he stepped forward. "Wait, what are you doing?"

The teenage boy didn't waste time. As Thexan and Senya were ready to surrender, Ento wasn't.

Lifting his hands, Ento pointed his finger tips towards the cloud of smoke and sent a blast of golden tendrils in the immortal's direction, using electric judgement.

"If you were fighting a Sith Lord or a mere Jedi, this strategy may have worked," Valkorion seemed unphased as the smoke dissipated, revealing the older man just barely blocking the attack with the force. "I applaud you with your efforts, but there is no reason for hostilities," he redirected Ento's attack to a nearby skytrooper battle droid.

Valkorion was virtually unscathed aside from his chestplate being scorched, but if this continued on, it was unlikely that would continue to be true. The boy could definitely fight to a draw against him eventually if this little battle continued.

The young teen lowered his hands as his first set of attacks failed.

Valkorion was known for three different stages of negotiation. Persuasion, force and if those failed, it was followed by them being summarily executed.

"You've undone my daughter's conditioning, reversed her physical state and improved her mental stability." The Emperor's gaze moved towards Arcann who was still unconsciously lying on the ruined couch.

Senya stepped forward, her eyes on her lover. She couldn't tell exactly what he was thinking. It had taken him a while to show his face. "Valkorion, My Emperor, what are you planning on doing?"

Valkorion looked to the woman he had fallen in love with, something he had denied himself in the past. He let out a soft exhale through his nose, "My love... You have been instrumental in raising our children, but for now you have done enough." He tsked, "Leave the room and take our boys with you." His eyes trailed towards Vaylin and Ento, "You two remain, we need to talk."

Hesitantly, Senya knew that she couldn't fight the Emperor due to his superior power. So she shrank away, collecting her unconscious child from the wrecked couch, and retreated with Thexan to the master bedroom.

"What is it you want to talk about?" Ento asked in a straight forward notion.

Vaylin called her lightsaber back to herself, before joining Ento by his side, a skeptical gaze trained on her father. She didn't trust the man who had locked her away and allowed his alien scientist to mentally and physically abuse her in an attempt to lock away her powers.

"You seemed to have become far more... Tame," Valkorion's gaze rested on his daughter, "My Daughter." His voice gave her the slightest impression of recognition, something that she and her brothers would have fought over.

She was a young girl who had crippled a Knight for dropping a ball she had tossed. She had crushed Knights who she was training with within their own armor. Ento had focused her power and mental state, tempered and folded it like expelling impurities from steel. Of course, it wasn't perfect, nothing in this universe was as the pursuit of perfection only lead to destruction.

Vaylin stopped herself from smiling.

Valkorion sensing her conflict of between the recognition she had been given and the way he had treated, he nodded to himself. She saw him as a monster nonetheless.

Ento coughed slightly, a closed fist in front of his mouth.

The Emperor's attention flickered on over to the boy as he did this and he chuckled. His eyes narrowing on the padawan braid, causing him to immediately wonder if the boy was a Jedi.

"How rude of me, I'll introduce myself. I am the Immortal Emperor, Valkorion." Aristocratic, but not at all similar to that of his Master's, this Valkorion seemed proud. "Now, who may you be?"

Not really all that interested, he compressed the muscles in his cheeks until his dimples showed charmingly. "Ento Rhade, Lightsaber student, Hero of the Naboo."

"Lightsaber Student and Hero of the Naboo?" The Emperor laughed hard at this, like what kind of status was this? At this time, Naboo was nothing more than a four hundred year old independent colony of human refugees and nobles who were constantly fighting with one another, it wasn't even part of the Republic. As his laughter died down, he grinned at the boy.

Though because he heard that his child would be resurfacing more than three thousand years from now, he could only assume, it wasn't the same Naboo. This boy, was a curiosity.

"I extend an offer to you, boy. A place here in my Empire, at my daughter's side," The last thing he needed was his daughter to regress. That and it seemed the boy would protect, her, his favorite child.

The teens looked at one another hearing this. It wasn't something either of them were expecting. He wasn't here to take her back, nor was he here to take Ento away.

"Come now, your choice shouldn't be that hard." The Emperor was smug, but he wasn't ignorant. Even if they weren't going to stay in the Empire for long, he was sure that they would accept it as a means of remaining comfortable during their stay. "I will even throw in some lightsaber training with my Elite Guard," though this sounded as if he was mocking the boy, it was a actual gesture.

Vaylin and Ento nodded to one another, before they both looked to him.

"You're not going to be taking me back to Nathema?"

"No," her father gestured towards Ento, "As long as he remains at your side."

Vaylin found herself smiling hard to herself, to the point that her cheeks hurt.

"And what about the one you tasked with breaking her?" Ento pointed out as he gestured his hand towards the Emperor, though not for a shake, but for an answer.

"Jarak...? He will be punished for failing in his duties." His gaze moved towards his daughter from the boy and raised a brow. "Do you wish to administer your revenge on the man?"

Ento, using telepathy, spoke to the Emperor with a monotonous tone as if disappointed in the gesture towards the girl. "As a father, you should avenge your own daughter's unneeded suffering at his hand. There were many other ways to make sure she couldn't have used the force against you..." He was aware of the conditioning he had undone, including the trigger phrase that rendered her powerless.

The Emperor's lips parted as he raised a hand to silence his daughter before she could give him the answer he asked for. His gaze moved back to Ento, the boy had referred to something akin to honor, or something a father should do. "Or is it my duty to do it for you?"

Vaylin silently stared at her father as he suddenly spoke of his own duty, he had never done anything but ignore his children.

Killing Jarak is a path that would likely cause her to regress. She didn't want to regress, she didn't want to lose control. Her fingers extended outward and lightly curled into Ento's sleeve like she had done once before.

Reading her, Valkorion nodded. "Enjoy your stay on Zakuul," taking a step back he turned away from the two of them and made his way out of the suite. Using the force, he dragged the destroyed skytrooper battle droid out of the room and dropped it off the side of the dock on his way back to his ship.
