『Death to Life』

Hours later, Ento opened a portal into the World between Worlds in the Main Hold of the Phantom. It was time to bring back Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile, to life by taking her body.

Revan, Master Dooku and Ento stared at the black mass in front of them.

Vaylin was in the background, watching them while she sat on the head of the T3 utilities droid. "I'll see you guys when you return," She said not necessarily wanting to go back into the place that brought her back to Nathema. Despite the fun they had, she never wanted to return there.

Ento turned his head to look back at her, before nodding, recognizing her feelings. The boy didn't even hesitate to step forward into the place that was entangled throughout time and space. The two Jedi Masters then followed the boy into the passageway he had conjured.

Dooku's eyes were wide as they entered the space. The darkness was a nice touch, the runic symbols, the sounds and the echoes of the past. It was both warm and cold here.

His attention moved towards Revan who remained focused on one goal alone. "Hm..." Dooku began to walk along behind them, peering over towards other doorways to different places.

This place could be used as a flawless form of transportation to one place to another. Go to one side of the galaxy such as Illum, and return to the Coruscant Jedi Temple in no time at all.

His eyes then shifted towards a doorway he heard a familiar voice from. Parting his lips, Dooku saw the form that appeared to be his sister, cowering at the feet under the silhouette of a dark cloaked figure. "Hm..." Reaching a hand forward, he stopped himself and shook his head. If he used the force to call his sister into the World between Worlds, it would be showing Darth Sidious a pathway into the realm. That wasn't something he wanted or needed. His eyes turned to Ento, he wanted to place everything in that boy's hands. So ultimately, Dooku lowered his hand and continued to follow after the other Jedi Master and the young teen.

In the next few minutes, the sight the three were taking in was dumbfounding.

Another Revan on his knees in front of a Sith Lord, residue from lightning sparking about his armored robes and mask. He was crippled, defeated. It was the Sith Emperor drawing his saber, raising above his head.

Revan, the one within the World between Worlds, clenched his fists as he watched this go on.

Another Sith Lord, Scourge, stood meters behind Meetra, his lightsaber in hand as he began to approach her. This was the betrayal that ended the early destruction of the Sith.

Meetra threw her lightsaber, a blazing blue blade, and threw it with the aid of the force. It was propelled directly into that of the Emperor's weapon, deflecting the otherwise lethal attack. Then as her weapon was returning to her, another weapon activated.

A red blade piercing through her back. Her lightsaber deactivated and clattered to the floor, rolling directly in through the portal in front of them. It stopped by Ento's feet, without them noticing right away.

Revan's heart sank as he could feel their connection, their life, vanish. As he watched his old friend's corpse thud lifelessly to the ground, he lowered his head.

He had known what he came for, what he had come to do, he expected this and yet... He didn't know it would hurt this much to watch these events happen all over again.

As Scourge, a pure blooded sith stepped over Meetra's corpse, he approached the Emperor and knelt down before him. Revealing his duplicity and true loyalties to the Sith, and that he had lured the warriors of light before him to be vanquished.

As this was happening, Ento went to step forward and stepped on Meetra's saber, only to stumble right through the portal. As he caught himself before falling over Meetra's dead body, he narrowed his gaze on the Sith who's gaze turned to look at him. "Ah... Poodoo..."

"Hm?" The Emperor shifted his body, following the gaze of his subordinate, narrowing his eyes on a boy wearing clothing from the planet of Zakuul. This was confusing for the Emperor, as he was sure the people of his 'side-project' haven't come out this far.

Ento however with his senses now focused, could feel the Emperor through the force. He then lipped 'Valkorion?' Leaning over the boy quickly grabbed the dead Jedi's arm and began dragging her towards the portal otherwise invisible to the Emperor and his aid.

"Wait!" The Emperor stepped away from his throne and reached out a hand to the boy. The teen's very existence seemed to resonate with him as his polar opposite, but the same. Another immortal, fed by the force itself.

This child wasn't going to listen to the Emperor, especially after learning who he really was. It explained far too much.

It however was too late, Ento had vanished along with the Jedi Exile. The Sith Emperor furrowed his brows and stared with an incredulous expression on his face at the spot that boy had vanished from. He drew his saber and threw it in the general direction... But the portal had already closed, so the cylinder just rolled about on the ground.

"What clumsiness... I am sure I taught you better than that, you almost altered the timeline immeasurably," Dooku laughed as if to take it lightly that Ento had accidentally stumbled into the Sith Emperor's throne room.

Revan stared down at his friend's lifeless body. A small frown across his lips as he reached down and picked her up off the floor. She had short brown hair cut like that of a pixie, but only when he undid the ponytail on the back of her head.

Chuckling in response to Dooku's remark, Ento looked to Revan who was seemingly smiling in a sad manner under his mask. "You will be reunited with her soon enough," the boy assured.

Revan looked to him and nodded, he was sure his old friend would enjoy being able to be alive once more. Though he was sure it would be a very strange sensation, being dead for so long.

Returning to the Phantom's main hold only what seemed to be milliseconds after going in to Vaylin, Ento and the crew stepped into view.

"That was unnervingly fast..." Vaylin hopped off of the droid and blinked up at them. She ran a hand through her blonde hair and hurried on over to see the death dealing wound still smoking. "That looked painful..." Frowning, she had seen and experienced worse on Nathema.

She had seen people be torn to pieces by wild beasts, already dead corpses being defiled by strange tools. The girl closed his eyes partially, in her mind she continued to say that she still never wanted to return there.

"Now lets get her into the infirmary," Revan moved quickly through the central corridor of the vessel until he made it to the medbay and placed her down on the bed.

Ento and Dooku followed quickly behind, Vaylin joining at Ento's side, the three joined the Jedi Master with his old friend. They stared at the peaceful, yet pained expression on her face, in silence. It seemed in the end, she had accepted her death as she had saved her friend, the man she saw as family.

Revan looked to the boy and nodded, removing his mask and lowering his hood, revealing his long brown hair and scarred face. His brown eyes looked to the boy, "Ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be," Ento walked over to the end of the bed by the woman's head. He held his hands hovering above her face. As he closed his eyes, the lights in the room dimmed.

At the door of the ship's medbay was none other than Meetra Surik. "You undid my hair," she seemed to laugh lightly, looking to her brother-like friend.

"I always liked your hair down, my old friend." Revan remarked with a chuckle.

The wound that had taken her life, began to seal itself over as making it as if were as good as new. Soon after that, it seemed even her robes were repaired within seconds to cover her new soft skin. It was strange being watched by a spirit, especially of the one he was working on, but Ento cast out the thought.

Now he focused on the midichlorians, the essence of the force ghost not too far away from him. The body was completely healed, ready to be transplanted into. Opening his eyes, though he couldn't see very much as he wasn't using the force for sight, he could see the ghost who was the brightest thing in the room.

Meetra blinked feeling a pull, "What are..." She didn't say anything further as he spirit was binded to the corpse and her own midichlorians were used to revive her.

Force energy poured into the vessel, communicating with the microscopic organism which connected most living beings to the force itself. Its power was overwhelming, the amount he could draw into use.

Dooku watched and felt all of this through the force. He could see the boy was holding his ground. This was much different from when he had resurrected the Sith Lord Darth Plagueis.

Revan held his friend's hand, he could feel the warmth returning. The heart beat reactivating. Finally within the following seconds, the blood was circulating and the presence of Meetra Surik came to life!

Suddenly the brunette lurched forward from the bed, gasping for air as she sat in an upright position. Then she burst out coughing, taking in too much air at once, and even choking on it.

"I'm alive! Haha-ahahahahaa!" She started laughing, squeezing Revan's hands before looking to her friend. A wide smile across her lips as she then looked down to their hands connected.

It had been thousands of years since she felt this sensation. She could finally live once more! This was... Amazing! However just like when she was alive previously, Meetra was a wound in the force, which was probably why it took so much more than it did to resurrect Dark Lord.

"A Galaxy without the Sith!"

"A Galaxy without the Sith Empire," Ento corrected with his head tilted to the side.

Meetra blinked and looked at the boy, before nodding slowly. She reached over and ruffled the top of his head with her other hand, a grin across her lips. "And you're to thank... Bringing me to an Era where the Republic has learned peace once more..."

Vaylin seemed to tense up seeing the older woman touching his Head and immediately moved to wrap her arms around his arm.

"Ohohoh... Is jealousy?" Meetra winked to Vaylin who immediately flushed and loosened up. "I'm not going to take away your friend, I have one of my own."

Her mind wandered briefly through her memories, there was one person she was once fond of, more than Revan. Someone she had left behind, someone she wanted to save from the horrors she left to stop.

Revan held a cylinder out to her, after releasing her hand. "This I believe, is yours, my old friend." It was her lightsaber which he had picked up after Ento had tripped over it.

Happily taking the weapon, she placed it on her belt before looking to Ento once more. "You... Kind of look like him." She smiled to herself before turning her back to him as she hung her legs off the side of the bed, facing Revan.

Ento lulled his head a bit more tiredly to the side at the words she had given to him. He looked like someone she knew? Interesting, perhaps he was related to them in some capacity?

Vaylin smiled faintly, before turning her head to see Dooku likely gesturing his head towards the door. It was time to give the two some space. So she lightly tugged on Ento's arm, getting him to follow her and Dooku out of the room, letting the door slide closed behind them.
