Few minutes into the ride and Jinjing realized that they were not heading in the direction of her house.


"babes I need your help. I have to attend a banquet and can't decide on what to wear…please help me, please, please pretty please!!!" she begged with puppy like eyes, Inwardly shouting at her brother for making her do all this. But then the result would be amazing. This made her a little happy.


Unable to deny Meili, Jinjing quickly informed her parents and went to Sheng House.


They met mother Sheng, who was leaving to go somewhere, at the entrance.


"ohh!!! Wonderful…you girls are home. Jinjing it's so nice to see you. How was your first day?"


Mother Sheng genuinely liked Jinjing a lot. Having witnessed her for the past years beside Meili she knew this girl was an honest and loyal friend.


"it was good Madam Sheng." replied Jinjing with a slight nod and a pleasant smile.


Even though she was asked multiple times to address Mother Sheng as 'auntie', keeping in mind that her father was an employee at the Sheng Corporation she could not bring herself to do so.


"ok good!! Tea and snacks are ready, ask the butler to get them for you. I need to rush, have to meet Madam Mu for a tea party today."


"okay" Meili said bidding her mother goodbye.


After having their fill of snacks and tea both sat in the lounge. Meili completely forgot about the actual reason of getting Jinjing to come over.


"don't you have to prepare a dress Mei?"


"dress???… Ohhh ahhh ahhh!! Yes yes I have to, i have to" Meili stood up immediately recovering from the shock of almost being caught.


With that the two made their way to Meili's room. On the way Meili messaged her brother to come after sometime to her room.
