After having their fill, Mother Sheng pulled Father Sheng into their bedroom. Acting all secretive, she closed the door to the room and locked it. All pumped up she moved closer to father Sheng.


A rather confused Father Sheng said "darling it is still too early for all this. The kids are also at home. Moreover, Jiaying is visiting. What will they think??"


Clearly understanding what his one track mind was thinking, Mother Sheng slapped his shoulder. "nonsense! Do you think I am like you?" gesturing Father Sheng to take a seat on the couch she said "I brought you here to discuss something important regarding Liang."


Before she could put forth her idea, Father Sheng asked "what about Liang? Did he fail his exam? Or did he kill someone…oh he can't do that…then is he into guys? Is that what you want to tell?" he fired away like a bullet train.


Controlling her anger Mother Sheng prayed "Oh! God give this billionaire some sense when it comes to things which are not related to business."


"Mr. Sheng! Listen carefully and you dare not interrupt until I am done." Father Sheng could only nod in agreement.


Heaving a sigh of relief Mother Sheng continued "look! Liang is going to turn 21 next month. Soon he will succeed you as the president of Sheng Corporation." Seeing that Father Sheng seemed to be in sync so far she proceeded "I was of the opinion that, we should get him engaged on his birthday."


Father Sheng raised his eyebrows visibly interested in where this was going.


"Liang has never been close to any girl ever. I see him only with Mu Jiaying. I feel they would make a great pair. What do you think?"


"ohh!!! I thought you were going to propose Lee Jinjing's name." Father Sheng replied after a moment of silence.


"actually even I like Lee Jinjing a lot. She is beautiful, well mannered, comes from a good family." Taking a deep breath Mother Sheng said "but I have not seen them even as much as exchanging pleasantries. I doubt Liang likes her."


Adding she said "the other day over tea, Mrs. Mu also hinted about Jiaying liking Liang. With what I saw at the table today, all my doubts have been cleared." She looked at her husband for his inputs. 


Not receiving any answer, she nudged him "say something."


"ohh! So your done that means I can speak now." Contemplating, he spoke "well it's a good idea. But before agreeing to an alliance we should ask Liang for his opinion."


Dismissing him mother Sheng said "oh! Common… my son will never say no to me. Anyway, in the past, whenever I spoke to him about marriage, he always said that it's up to me to decide. He has no opinions." Mother Sheng admired her nails with an air of superiority.
