After her lunch with Luwei and Meili, the three attended the remaining classes and headed to their respective homes. As soon as the classes got over, Jinjing called Liang up.


After ringing for some time Liang finally answered and coldly said "hmmm"


"Liang…. Where are you?" Jinjing cautiously asked.


"well I know you saw me with Luwei, but I was not alone with him even Meili had lunch with us. She had only gone to get food for herself."


"please, we were talking about my birthday, he overheard and wanted a treat. That's it. Don't be angry it's my birthday today."


Liang could not endure it anymore so he said "I hate seeing you with any other guy. Forget touching, even if they as much as talk to you, I swear I will beat them black and blue, especially Luwei."


"hey come on you cannot do that. I will have no friends then. I don't stop you from talking to any girl. Yes! I won't get too close to any boy but not interacting… that' too much."


Liang could only sigh helplessly, he knew she was right, he could not be so narrow minded or else he would lose her.


Liang calmed down and both continued talk sweet nothings for some time before Jinjing had to leave with her parents for dinner.


"okay! I'll hang up first. We have to leave for dinner in a bit and I still have to get ready." Jinjing informed.


"ohh!!! So where are you'll heading for dinner?" Liang asked casually.


"ahhh!!! There is this new hunan cuisine restaurant opened up close to our house. We will be heading there." Jinjing did not hesitate giving the details.


"okay have fun. See you tomorrow. Love you baby!" Liang wished her goodnight.


The Lee's were simple people and they did not complicate things, rather they enjoyed the little offerings of life. For the dinner, they did not book any private room, instead settled for a cozy family setting in the general dining area.


The family of three placed their orders and were sipping on some drinks waiting for the food to arrive while animatedly chatting with each other. The love and trust was evident from their body language.


They were seated at a table for four, Mama and Papa Lee sat next to each other facing the entrance while, Jinjing sat opposite them with her back to the entrance.


When they were immersed in their chit chat, mama Lee spotted a familiar silhouette nearing their table and surprisingly said "Ahhh!!! Young master Sheng…"
