Standing outside, the office silently, Liang waited for the lady to leave but she stood there just like that. Noticing no movement, the lady understood that he wanted her to leave. On cue, she excused herself and went back to her work.
First, Liang knocked on the door but did not get any response. He knocked a few times and when there was no reply he tried to push the door open, only to find it locked. Saddened, he looked around the floor and found Luwei's cabin just next to hers.
His eyes were burning with rage. 'he positioned her cabin so close to his.' He thought. Bursting with anger he leapt towards Luwei's office.
The desk of the assistant was empty. With no one to stop him, he stood very close to the door. He was not going to knock but he wanted to cool himself down in order to avoid any mishap. He slowly opened the door and heard sounds of feminine laughter come through the small opening. He froze just there. The intimate laughter was followed by a gentle voice.
"ohhh stop it…ahhh… don't do that…. mmm…. Luwei… at least lock the door."
"no one will dare to coming in… let me kiss you…. mmmm." Luwei sounded absolutely drenched in love.
Standing outside, Liang momentarily closed his eyes to get a hold of himself, but with the vision of Jinjing and Luwei making out, he instantly opened his eyes and without further ado, dashed into the office.
"ahhhh…. !!!!" a shocked Sam stood up straight from Luwei's lap.
The loud noise of the door opening and someone entering, had caught her by surprise. She quickly casted her eyes down in sheer embarrassment, only to find her blouse buttons half undone. She immediately turned around and fixed her appearance.
Luwei could not stop himself from letting a laugh out looking at her flushed face. He stood up from his chair and pecked on her lips not bothering that someone was present in the room.
And that someone stood like a statue, only a few steps inside the office. His eyes wide open and mouth agape. It took him good few minutes to confirm that the lady in Luwei's office, snuggling with him was not Jinjing but some westerner. He heaved a sigh of relief but confusion took over.
He strode in Luwei's direction, who was clearly annoyed by his intrusion in his romance, to clear his confusion.
Having fixed herself, Sam was going to excuse herself out of the office, but Luwei tugged on her hand. With everything out in the open, Luwei did not hold back. He calmly sat back on his chair and blatantly positioned Sam on his lap once again. On the contrary Sam did not know where to look.
"Mr. Sheng…. I suppose you have a lot of questions. Why don't you take a seat first?" said Luwei arrogantly.
Still out of sorts, Liang quietly sat down across the table, as if he was possessed. His gaze never left Sam.
Even after taking the seat, Liang did not speak a word. He kept gazing at Samantha. Wave after wave came gushing in his heart. Firstly, he was happy that it was not Jinjing in here. Secondly, now his path to her had become easier.
He comprehended that, either Luwei was cheating on Jinjing or they were never together. A little smile graced his face which threatened to turn into a grin. But the aloof president that he was, he kept his emotions from surfacing.
Seeing Liang stare at his woman, Luwei spoke up first "she is my girlfriend, Samantha."
Liang turned his focus onto Luwei. His heart was jumping out of joy. But he still needed to know the entire story. Curiously, he inquired.
"what about Jinjing? weren't you both seeing each other?"
