Chapter 2 Entering the forest

In an unknown place just in side a massive forest next to a Road there was two men, they were wearing pretty plain clothes but they both had blood stains on them. One of the men seem to be older then the other he was in his late 30s and the younger man was around 19-21. They were standing next to a river by their feet were several blood covered bodys, they were talking to each other.

Man1: " hurry the fuck up we don't have all day"

As he said that he kicked one of the bodys In to the river.

SPLASH

Man2: "This is so disgusting why do we have to be the ones to get rid of this trash it smells like shit"

Man1: "Stop complaining, all we need to do is push them in and let the wild life do the rest then we can get paid"

Man2: "Yeah yeah I know just wish the boss would not have to break his toys so badly"

Man1 "Ha don't let him here you say that or you'll be the next one he breaks"

The young man shivered when he heard that.

Man2: "Don't fucking joke like that, it gave me nightmares just thinking about the things that he did to these lot"

The older man smile grimly at that before pushing the next body in.

SPLASH

Man1: "One more and were finished here don't forget to burn your clothes later"

They pushed the last body into the river a young girl with black hair that was matted with blood.

SPLASH

Man2: "Finally were finished"

Man1: "Come on man lets get the hell out of here I need a drink and besides I really don't want to meet the monstrosities that live in this forest!" He said with a hint of fear in his voice.

Man2: "You had me at drink"

Both men turned and walk back to the road but unseen by them the body of the young girl was floating down the river and her chest slightly moved.

....

As the girl washed down stream she began to regain some of her consciousness, her thoughts were confused she had no idea what was happening.

'It so dark and so cold

W-where am i

Wait who am i

I cant m-move

Its so cold its just so....

Cold'

The frantic thoughts only stopped when the person went unconscious again.

....

The person continued to wake up only to fall back into unconsciousness until slowly their eyes began to open again. Their eyes were a beautiful blue yet they were hollow and lifeless, their body was covered in wounds, they were very malnourished, their chest was relatively flat, they have long black hair that was matted and extremely messed up and their entire body was soak in water and what was left of the blood.

As she lay there the young girl tried her best to move but found that she could only move her head slightly.

"GRRRRR"

The girl suddenly froze as a growl came from her left, she slowly and painfully turn her head to see what had made the noise as she did she could hear the sound of her heart pounding in her chest. There just a few feet a way was a group of large canine like creatures, they were around the same size and build of a lion, they had dark brown fur, their ears looked like the ears of a bat, as will as that they had large dagger like teeth, however the thing that took her by surprise the most was that they had no eyes.

They where currently fighting over the corpses of the other people.

The girl's eyes went wide when one of those thing slowly lifted it's head and started sniffing the air it then released a small growl before turning it's head and walking towards her.

Girl:"he-" The girl tried to call for help but couldn't.

She could only look in horror as the thing arrived in front of her it's massive mouth constantly releasing drool some of it hitting the girl's face. As she looked up all she could see was a mouth filled with, drool, razor sharp teeth and the blood from the other bodies as well.

'I don't want to die not like this I still need t-to'

The creature's opened mouth got closer and closer to her she then closed her eyes from fear waiting for what would happen.

.....

Some time past with nothing happening.

Confused she slowly open her eyes only to see the creature looking up at the sky, actually all the creatures had stopped eating and were looking up.

'wait what are they loo-'

Before she could finish thinking the surrounding area was lit up in a red flash of light that cut her thoughts off.

BOOOOM!?!

A massive explosion came from behind her it shook the ground corsing the strange creatures to wince in pain they then turned and ran off, to where the girl couldn't see because the shock wave that came from the explosion was so violent it had caused her to go back into unconsciousness.
