Samurai's Bond

Samurai POV

"I'm gonna catch you today, Scyther!" I yell while throwing Pinsir's Pokeball at it.

Pinsir explodes out fresh and ready for battle."Quick! Pinsir use Vital Throw!"

Pinsir rushes Scyther and quickly throws him away from the area. I look over at Alex and nod to him, he nods back before disappearing into the foliage.

I chase after Pinsir as he is battling Scyther further away by himself, I arrive nearby and see Pinsir desperately struggling from Scyther's rapidly repeating Slash attacks.

"Pinsir, use harden!"

Pinsir's exoskeleton shines a metallic gleam and Syther's attacks do much less damage giving me the opportunity to retaliate!

"Double Hit!" Pinsir rears its head slamming its mandibles into Scyther one at a time. Scyther flinches from the move but readily responds with a wing attack!

"Pinsir!" Pinsir goes down from the super effective move and slowly gets back up.

Ahhrg! This is why I always lose to this Scyther it has super effective moves against me! Maybe I should try what that Aura that Alex was telling me about!

I lose focus on the battle trying to grasp the feeling from earlier, I reach deep into myself and slowly feel the Purple Energy that permeates within.I feel it then grasp and pull! I succeed as the Purple Aura enhances my senses and I focus on the battle once again! I start to notice the flow of the battle much easier! I can capture their movements within my seconds and predict the ones that follow!

I focus even harder and spread my senses until I can predict even Scyther's movements! If I can see every hit before it happens, I can win this!

I quickly call out to Pinsir, "Pinsir below!"

Pinsir has no time to even think about why I said that as he is slashed from below!

"Pinsir just listen to my voice! I'll tell you where he will hit next!"

Realization dawns on Pinsir as I begin to instruct it on the direction Scyther's claws will hit next,

"Left!" Pinsir is unable to react and is quickly slashed from the side and flinches from the attack.

"Right!" Pinsir, is then hit again from the right!

"C'mon Pinsir I know you can do it!"

"Below!" Pinsir barely reacts and only manages to put up a weak defense from his arm as it barely grazes Scyther's Slash attack, landing another hit!

"Center!" Pinsir puts his arms in a cross guard and manages to catch Scyther's claw before it hits him, "Success!"

Scyther's eyes widen in surprise at having it's attack caught! It quickly reels in it's shock and begins again!

"Left!"

"Right!"

"Below!"

"Left!"

"Center!"

As each blow is blocked Scyther decides to quickly change it's strategy! It swiftly uses quick attack slamming against Pinsir causing him to flinch! It uses the time it gained from Pinsir's flinch to stack on more Agilities, increasing it's speed even further and then also following up with Double Team!

The tides quickly shift as Scyther picks up it's speed slamming quicker slashes at Pinsir!

"Left—no, Center!"

I can't focus with his increasing speed! I have to try harder!

I pull more on my purple aura, further increasing my abilities until I can even pick up his increased speed!

"Left!"

"Center!"

"Below!"

We quickly regain our rhythm as Pinsir is once again able to respond to Scyter's attacks!

"SCY!"

Scyther stops using Slash and instead repeatedly uses Quick Attack instead!

We quickly lose our momentum as I can no longer predict his movements! Pinsir is practically blind and I have to predict not only his movements but the correct Double Team as well!

Argh! I can't do it anymore!

BooOOM!

Scyther notices us losing our pace and quickly uses another Slash attack garnering a Critical Hit! Pinsir flys back launching out of the clearing, hitting a tree on the edge of the treeline!

We can't lose like this!

"C'mon Pinsir we can do this!"

Pinsir shakely gets back up before finally standing upright.

Scyther scoffs at us before launching one Razor Wind out of it's claws after another.

Pinsir quickly falls back down while I start to despair. Will we really never defeat this Scyther..? No! I won't give up!

I expand my senses towards Pinsir once again and start to feel it....the pain. I begin to flinch as if i'm getting hit by those Razor Winds as well! It hurts but I have to follow through! If Pinsir can deal with this so can I!

I continue to expand my senses towards Pinsir and the pain I feel increases the harder I try. Scyther starts to laugh at us and I start to get angry in response! How dare he make fun of us!

As if feeling my emotions Pinsir starts to shake as well!

Then, it happens!

I feel as if me and Pinsir become one! He sees through me and I see through him, I feel what he feels and he feels what I feel, and at that moment we both felt it, anger.

Alex POV

I pick up my newly capture Heracross' ball and quickly scan him,

[Heracross

Age - 3

Tier - Starter

Type - Bug, Fighting

Ability - Moxie

Special Ability - Battle Bond

Moxie - When a Pokémon with Moxie directly causes another Pokémon (including allies) to faint by using a damaging move, its Attack is increased by one stage. If its Attack is already at +6 stages, Moxie will not activate.

Battle Bond - By synchronizing this Pokémon's aura with its trainer's the Pokémon transforms into it's Alex-Heracross form. Sultan's Spear move unlocked, this Pokémon also gets more powerful.

Move Set - Arm Thrust, Bullet Seed, Night Slash, Tackle, Leer, Horn Attack, Feint, Endure, Aerial Ace, Chip Away, Counter, Seismic Toss, Mega Horn

Sultan's Spear - This Pokemon lowers it's newly transformed horn and charges at the opposing Pokemon. This attack raises the Pokémon's attack by one stage while lowering the opposing Pokemon's defense by one stage. This attack causes recoil damage.]

Holy SHIT! I also got one too! Viridian Forest is fucking amazing!

I can't believe I got one as well! I wonder what it looks like!?

Ah..I can only wait as he's only newly caught and we don't even have a bond much less able to even synchronize our aura...

Oh yeah! I quickly put away Heracross' ball before taking out Nidoran's.

I then release Nidoran from her ball, she quickly perks up upon release but then quickly relaxes seeing that we aren't in battle.

"Nidoran."

She looks up at me while rotating her head as if asking a question.

"I got something for you that will make your battles in the future much easier."

"NIDO!" She perks up at the thought,

"I know that you struggle a lot in battle, especially against those not your gender since your ability reduces your attacks on them, causing you to have to use status effect moves to injure them overtime while using hit and run tactics."

She nods her head in response as it droop a bit in sadness at her own ability.

"I recently acquired something that can help you with this!"

"NIDO!?"

"Yep, I got this!" I then took out the Hidden Ability Capsule from my inventory and flash it in front of her face.

"Nido?"

"This is a Hidden Ability Capsule and it will allow you to change your ability to your species Hidden Ability instead!"

"NIDO!"

"So, do you want to take it?"

She quickly nods her head.

"Alright, here eat it."

I toss it towards her and she quickly kicks off the ground before chomping down on it mid air.

"Alright lets see if it worked.."

'Observe'

[Nidoran (Female)

Age - 3

Tier - Intermediate

Type - Poison

Ability - Hustle

Hustle - Hustle increases the user's Attack stat by 50%, but lowers the accuracy of the user's physical moves by 20%. Special moves and status moves are unaffected by Hustle.

Move Set - Scratch, Growl, Tail Whip, Poison Sting, Double Kick, Bite, Toxic, Supersonic, Fury Swipes]

"Haha! It worked! Woah, you also learned Fury Swipes as well? Great!"

"NIDO!"

"Alright, let me explain what your new ability hustle is..."

After explaining to Nidoran her new ability I quickly return her before setting out to look for Samurai.

I soon find where he is by the increasing noises nearby, I follow them only to be shocked at what I see! Scyther is spamming Razor Wind at an already downed Pinsir! I was about to tell Pikachu to quickly dispatch Scyther when I saw Samurai who was emitting a purple glow raise his hand towards me as if telling me to stop.

I look on at confusion only to be shocked once again!

I see Pinsir's exoskeleton build up rapidly before forming around him in a cocoon! A purple glow followed along side it and wraps the cocoon as well!

.....Battle Bond! So soon...?

Amazing!

The cocoon slowly crumbles only for me to see Pinsir's new form underneath! His exoskeleton has morphed into the style of Japanese samurai armor! His head takes the shape of a samurai helmet while his mandibles continue to pertrude like horns! his face resembles plating with only his eyes being able to be seen! His lower body has also taken the appearance of Samurai armor as it appears plated and more menacing! His limbs thicken as the sides of his arm have slight blades sticking out!

He looks so badass!
